Why does throwing for 300+ mean anything? Why does a QB have to throw for 300. Yes it looks great on the stats sheet and looks impressive overall but dont wins mean more than stats? Reiley threw for over 300 and lost. Mitchel threw for 275 and lost. I see plenty of QBs throw for 300 and still lose the game.

I was hoping Coombs would sign in Winnipeg but it didn't look like there was room for him. I hope he can stay healthy this year.

Two options - There are a number of nice hotels down Pembina (Holiday Inn / Best Western) that'll run you ~120$ a night. From there you can easily drive to the Forks/Downtown to the exchange to check stuff out there & take a bus to the game (recommended) Second option if you want to show her a real good time - Book a room at the Fort Garry for 160$ + 20$ parking. You can walk down to the Forks and into the exchange (Clementines is my favorite breakfast place in the city). Still take a bus to the game (pretty easy from downtown). If you haven't checked out the zoo in awhile they've done really good things there.

Stats are misleading sometimes. The turnovers gave the bombers a shorter field so less yards to be gained from the get go. Then you get the strong run game too.... why use passing yardage? Look at the actual performances in the game. Nichols was in complete control and throwing an moving well. He played a real good game.

Let me translate for you: Both quarterbacks played good because while the Bomber qb threw three touchdowns, no interceptions and the Bombers won, the BC qb threw two interceptions and one passing td but threw for more yards and, most importantly, he doesn't play for the Bombers, It's simply really, once you crack the code.

I’ll give you a million dollars if you can find me a post of yours saying Nichols played well when he produced 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.

How many legitimate cfl starting quality QBs do we have right now? 5? Id say 2 are elite, one of which didnt look it in week 1. The league really needs some one (or more) to step up from that Project starter tier.

I got a concussion 2.5 years ago from falling on curling ice and am still feeling the effects. I have a whole team of health care people helping me get back to normal, including rehab for vision disturbances. I have to say that it is less fun to watch football now because it really bothers me to see to head hits.

The New Occidental Hotel is in a hot spot for action and has some character! I guess it all depends what your taste is though. 😜

If DC did that in a Bomber Uniform- I would have cursed him. He has issues- he always has. But, to Be fair though- DC is absolutely wonderful to the fans and is ALWAYS willing to go all out for the fan experience. I totally respect him for that. I wouldn't want him to change anything about himself. I hope one day he climbs out of his dad's shadow and Just be ok with being best DC that DC can be.
