It was nice to finally meet you! I've been going to PCW shows for over a decade now and they never fail to entertain. Castle was really great and seemed to handle the travel issues like a pro. Speaking of being a pro, sort of a funny story from after the show. Typically I'm not the type to take a lot of selfies or line up for photos with people but after 5 hours, my girlfriend and I had consumed a few drinks and the line was moving pretty good so we figured what the hell, lets say thanks for dealing with the headaches of getting here and grab a quick photo. I had everything lined up for a quick pic but pressed the wrong button and closed the camera app instead of taking a photo. Without even hesitating, Castle grabbed the phone, said "here, I got a good angle" and snapped the photo. It wasn't until we were walking out the door that it dawned on us that being the pro he is and having probably dealt with his fair share of tipsy photo seekers, he knew damn well how to keep that line moving. No way he was waiting for my dumb ass to figure out how to take a proper pic. 👍

I think teams have figured out how to defend the Jets. They are getting significantly fewer scoring opportunities this year. I agree losing Buff is big but Ehlers has hurt big time too. Big loss of speed and ability to stretch the other team's D. I am hopeful that Nikolaj coming back is the catalyst that gets this team back on track.

I actually think Myers has been pretty strong lately. He had a terrible start to the season, but has been solid for a while now.

I know my mother agrees with this (and so do I). I think Jones brought a sense that he could do anything but really failed to deliver. He sold a bill of goods to Rider fans, who still defend him and his moves, but ultimately, it was a house of cards - completely unstable. He's a good DC. Maybe, he's an 'okay' HC but he ain't no GM and certainly not all three. Question is, can Dickenson actually deliver or is he just the rebound HC? How long can last? I think he'll be a better HC than O'Day is a GM but Dickenson falls first.

USports defensive player of the year and got himself a minicamp invite from the Giants. Drafted by Edmonton in 2016 but never made their team. Signed with Montreal in 2017. Played in 15 games that season on teams but missed all of last season with an injury. He'll be teams depth for sure but given that, barring another injury, this will only be his 2nd actual season, who knows how the team sees him fitting in or what his ceiling is.

Can't have enough depth guys to play specials. Good signing.

I think it was a simple as the defense was pissed off and shitting on the offense for continuously crapping the bed and having to carry the offense.

Lots of intrigue with Chapman involved in the talks. Maybe just because he likes to be on big talks. But I’d think it’s talking about a potential sign and trade for stone which means moving someone significant out and you need chipman to sign off on something that fans might not like

That whole organization under Jones & Murphy was dysfunctional. I think Craig Dickenson will bring some stability & reason to the locker room. He's a pretty low key guy who isn't self centred like Jones was.

Hughes is 35 and while he had 12 sacks in the first half of the season, he had 3 in the second half. I'd be legitimately worried that he's done. Huff may have pulled the ole Wally Special.

Quick note. I know at least one of you here came out to the Dalton Castle show (always nice to our a face to the handle!) anyone else who might have, thanks for sticking with us while we had absurd travel issues. Castle left his home at 6am. Had three delayed flights, ended up in Toronto (wasn’t originally scheduled to), waited on a delay there while they called in a replacement pilot). Made it to the show after midnight. Was on at 1am. It was one of their nights we can laugh about. It worked out in the end. Castle is a great guy too. Best fans in the business. Thank you!

It's unfortunately that most of what I've heard about increases coming to our CBA will be basically given to the top players. I'd rather bump up the minimum salary a bit. I wonder how often we convince a star player not to try the NFL with a big contract compared to how many players we could attract to the league with a higher minimum contract.

I think Jefferson looked at our roster...in particular our D and saw Bighill and Jeffcoat....thought he'd fit right in and went for it...Regina was bringing up the rear ,and looking at their roster as it stood when he signed with us, it became a no-brainer...I'm going to enjoy the hell out of the games we have with them this year, when Big Willie puts the screws to those green chumps...Can't wait

Jefferson signed first because on Riderfans they were flipping out and then calmed down when Micah signed. I listened to Jefferson on 1290 yesterday afternoon, aside from his annoyinig habit of going uhhhhh every few seconds the guy seemed to choose Winnipeg because of the culture and the management. He apparently was his own agent and made it seem like he was happy with how the club negotiated with him.
