  2. What MOS was supposed to say, one supposes: “I don't think he’ll be ready to play. It’s been well documented that his throwing shoulder is screwed, and since his last lower body injury, Matt has the mobility of a fence post. He may never be able to perform at a high level ever again.”

The Maciocia has done at the University of Montreal being able to go toe to toe with Laval every year. I think as we have seen here when you have a GM that is able to judge Canadian talent very well then have a group of scouts that can find American talent it can work really well.

If you’re wondering why Canadian quarterbacks don’t get a chance, it’s because 99.999999999% of the time, it’s a waste of time. Canadians get drafted as OL and DL because it’s so much easier to learn the position than it is to learn how to play QB. Investing in potential at those positions can pay quicker dividends. There’s never going to be a QB version of David Onyemata or Efe Obada, there’s never going to be a QB that converted to football from another sport like Antonio Gates or Jimmy Graham. You need a long period of development and high level coaching to succeed as a professional QB.

  9. I'm not sure I understand Jeff Hamilton's take on this. Is he saying that the CFL should not allow any players who have had legal problems to play? Because that's one of the reasons why some talented players end up here - i.e. Willie Jefferson and many, many others. We've always been kind of a second chance league. Or, is his take that we should only allow players that have had certain types of legal problems? I think the CFL already does that, at least to an extent. Past DUI's and marijuana charges - seem to not entirely exclude players from trying out, depending on the circumstances. Serious legal issues - assault, murder, etc - I think the CFL bans those players entirely. Example - Ray Rice. I seem to remember the CFL making a statement saying he would never be allowed to play here, which makes total sense. I also trust that the Bombers are pretty good on doing their due diligence. Walters and O'Shea seem pretty good at choosing character players. You'd have to think that perhaps this player has learned from his transgressions, and perhaps even is dealing with any substance abuse issues. Seems like Hamilton forgets that people are capable of doing that. I guess I'm a bit confused by Hamilton's takes on things. And still salty that he was one of the anti Harris for MOP ring leaders.

Plenty of "progressives" criticized it all. Trouble is that regressives ignore far worse and call it equal. You ever seen a democrat act as bad as the current Republicans act? Please give examples.

Playing 4 minutes a night with AHL plugs? Check out what he did for Sweden at the WJC.. Named 1 of the top players. The guy is a defensively responsible center who is 19 years old.. D matters.. Especially if you are a center.

Been following US politics for decades. Never have had problems calling out USA political hypocrisy. Like Bush and his war criminal administration, perpetrating the put up job on "introducing democracy" to the Mid-East, starting with that phony baloney war with Iraq. That said....... this Trump administration, with an ignorant, raging narcissist at its head, his cultist Cabinet, and the malicious and mendacious populist approach, has set new standards in both hypocrisy and utter dishonesty. The older I get, the more deranged I become, it seems.

  20. Hmm... Can anybody really say that arena football ever was a good thing? Ryan Bomben- so close to being a Bomber..WKRP Cincinnati ROSE Cincinnati On the Collaros to Winnipeg trade... The question being asked:It could certainly be classified as the most opportune trade in Franchise history ORit could be seen as one of the most important trades made in franchise history. OR...both What will we refer the CFL this 2020 year? - 2.02.0?Speaking of Milanovich...“I think we'll have some wrinkles that will catch people off guard." 👁‍🗨 What I think all fans want to hear this from their Coach.Please. No more in game yakety, unnecessary, interviews during the broadcasts of CFL games. The interview of Keith Urban should be enough in anybody’s mind to put an end to them. It was embarrassing in what is our National Championship. To think of such a large TV audience witnessing such a minor league, uninformative interview just makes me shudder. Leave it alone already. Watching Taysom Hill and hi# role playing with the Saints makes me anxious to watch Streveler embrace a similar role with the Zbombers. Sign him. Get this done. Let’s start the season next weekend!Winston Rose on Streveler... 👁‍🗨 Only a mild coincidence that with the latest rule changes involving “naturalized” Nationals-and the worry of “fake injuries”, that the Saskatchewan Roughriders are contemplating changing their nicknames to the Saskatchewan Cheetahs.Along with that, their new motto: Cheetahs, one and all. 👁‍🗨 Other than being romantic about it, would/could a CFL team really work in Atlantic Canada? Schedule-wise? Attendance-wise? TV broadcast-wise? You have to wonder what the story is with Willie Jefferson. Clear up the smoke for us Willie..

  22. Reading this makes me cautiously optimistic. Saying all the right things anyway. From Latino review : Since the last Star Trek movie didn’t perform that well at the box office, the future of the franchise on film has been sketchy at best. Setting the Quentin Tarantino aside, we have not had an idea of when we might see the next Trek movie appear, however, we learned back in November that Noah Hawley would be on writing/directing duties for the fourth modern Star Trek movie. Nothing was known about whether this movie would be a sort of reboot, or whether the cast of the Bad Robot Star Trek movies would be making a return. Hawley recently spoke with Deadline about his upcoming projects and it’s still not clear how he will shape this new movie. I have my own take on Star Trek,” said Hawley when asked if the sequel will feature the most recent film’s cast, “and going back to what I loved about the series Next Generation, when a lot of franchises focus on ‘might makes right’, Star Trek is about exploration and humanity at its best, and diversity and creative problem solving. There’s nothing better than that moment when William Shatner puts on his reading glasses and lowers Khan’s shields. It doesn’t cost anything. But it’s that triumphant feeling about smarting your enemy. For me it’s about to getting to those elements of the show. I don’t necessarily find action in and of itself interesting unless it’s story. So, it’s early days, I’m still talking with Paramount and I have a take and I gotta write a script.” As to whether it will connect with the TV work of Alex Kurtzman,

wow this is a big surprise!!! Federal prosecutors said Thursday Jan. 9, 2020, that jailhouse video no longer exists of the area around Jeffrey Epstein's jail cell on a day he survived an apparent suicide attempt. (New York State Sex Offender Registry via AP, File) NEW YORK (AP) — Video footage of the area around Jeffrey Epstein’s jail cell on a day he survived an apparent suicide attempt “no longer exists,” federal prosecutors told a judge Thursday. Officials at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York believed they had preserved footage of guards finding Epstein after he appeared to have attempted suicide, but actually saved a video from a different part of the jail, prosecutors said. https://apnews.com/a104be68ede71c99f26c4e765d244e0e

  39. Your first sentence... Not. A. Chance. Don't tell me a linebacker from Saint Mary's is almost as good as a linebacker from an American FBS or FCS team. My son played in Northern California before he came to SFU. He played against these crazy athletes from America Samoa. These guys were pushing 300 lbs & could run down running backs from behind. Super strong, athletic & lightning fast there is no ******* way any Canadian in U Sports would have played against guys that good. That's just the Samoans. For every one great player U Sports produces there are 10-20 NCAA players as good or better than him. I watched enough college games down south in person to say you're 100% wrong. The Canadians get the chance to develop because they have talent, potential & the ratio to allow it to happen.
