  3. Yeah, he's a good goalie. Some of those saves were just absurd, though. That one on Perreault with the stick? 9/10 times that's a goal. I think the Jets figured him out yesterday, so I'm hoping that carries over into game 4. This whole situation reminds me a lot of what Hammond did for the Senators a few years ago.
  4. This is exactly where I'm at right now, too. But I think I'd allot at least 40 points to Berube personally, who's taught his team to play greasy when they're losing. Brayden Schenn in particular is a real pile of turds.
  5. I'm just glad the horseshoe finally fell out of Binnington's ass. That was long overdue.
  6. The perfect Winnipeg story doesn't exis- https://www.thestar.com/news/world/2019/04/11/canadian-man-who-accidentally-stole-a-car-and-took-it-on-a-slurpee-run-21-years-ago-wants-to-apologize.html
  7. Is there a prize for best post in this thread? I think @TrueBlue4ever is running away with top spot. Bravo!
  8. Top line stunk tonight, especially in the third. Top 6 seemed pretty much invisible. Third period was rough to watch.
  9. The forum needs a love reaction for posts like this.
  10. This is absolutely incredible. What an amazing achievement!
  11. Why is neither not an option. Because that'd be mine: trade neither if it's possible.
  12. Prior to the regular season starting, I had this as my WCF matchup. I'm still confident in the Pacific representative but not so much for the Central one. I hope the Jets prove me wrong and end up there. They'll need to be way better than they have been the last 20-25 games, though.
  13. Bingo. Pinning the blame on a struggling third year player is in no way reasonable. The leaders on this team aren't leading. That's a major problem. Also, the coaching staff needs to be take a look in the mirror and see what's not working.
  14. Ignorance is actually a noun. The adjective form would be ignorant.

  16. Wait... That Linda McMahon and the one from pro wrasslin' are one in the same...?! Jee-zus, I just thought the same name was a coincidence. Good gravy, that is comical.
  17. Playing to his (new) base. Seems like a smart move, even if it sounds like delusional nonsense.
  18. I'll take "Things That Didn't Happen for $200," Alex. Learn to read.
  19. How is he coddling them? It's on the player himself to play a 200 ft. game. Who on the top 6 is doing that well right now, anyway? A coach bears responsibility but so do the players, especially the ones with an 'A' or 'C' on the jersey. The leaders on this team aren't leading right now.
  20. Maybe. I'd put Morrow in over Niku, who still looks wet behind the ears far too often. I can't see that boding well come playoff time. He panics way too much for my liking. Myers was atrocious last night - maybe his worst game of the season. The top 6 was awful. Sure, missing Byfuglien and Morrissey affects the team but there's no reason why their collective defensive play is so abhorrent for such lengthy stretches. When that offensive firepower can't show up, you need to be sound in your own end. Lazy back-checking, poor positioning, minimal effort... Not a good recipe. If this is how the Jets want to play, they'll be dispatched in round 1 regardless of who they face. This style of hockey is not conducive to success when the playoffs begin.
  21. A slowdown is not a hiatus*. The science is not settled. Those were the two points I refuted because they were disingenuous comments on your part. I wouldn't lecture anyone on here about reading comprehension if I were you, BTW. Your grasp on many things intellectual is utter garbage. * hi·a·tus /hīˈādəs/ noun noun: hiatus; plural noun: hiatuses a pause or gap in a sequence, series, or process.
  22. Yeah, totally interesting... A study from September 2016. But of course the infallible No Tricks Zone posts it today, and being ever obedient to that garbage website, you decide to follow suit on here. Why not just be honest with yourself and post the original link? (http://notrickszone.com/2019/03/28/scientists-the-co2-greenhouse-effect-was-cancelled-out-by-clouds-during-1992-2014/) https://www.nature.com/articles/nature22315 There was no hiatus; temperatures actually continued to increase, but at a slower rate than anticipated. Using the word hiatus in a title is misleading and insincere. The science isn't settled. Unless one thinks controversy equates to something being settled, in which case I'd have to seriously question that person's understanding of basic concepts, much less scientific ones. Nice try, comrade.
  23. I'd be all for a rematch. I just don't see it happening based on how poorly the Predators have played vs. the Blues this season. My hope is those two meet in the first round and beat the absolute piss out of one another.
