  1. I remember watching an X-game against the Esks.......anticipating that Tom Wilkinson didn't have much left at QB. He played a half....and the new backup came in......some guy named Warren Moon. By the time that game ended.... was mightily depressed. This guy seriously didn't belong in this league....and would be the starter real soon.....and we would never beat these dudes. And that's what happened.....
  2. Him and Bryant on the same side, was like a cheat code.....
  3. For the record, Nate, and his acolyte Area 51 are currently polluting threads on CFL Forurms..... Yup, you dudes at OurBombers.....
  4. Then I would direct Mr. Bailey to the laudatory comments I made about him the other day....
  5. Before MOS was hired.....some folks, down east.... told me several things about O'Shea (then relayed them on this site) He had outstanding leadership qualities Players would love to play for this guy It's true....its really true!
  6. Yup, had referred to them before as "CFL lifers" Guys who eat, drink and breathe Canadian football...
  7. Walters really understands the CFL, knows what you need to win in the league......and quietly and methodically goes out and gets it. Hell, this entire management group and coach "get it"
  8. Post game, even Maurice had problems conjuring up the ole excusemiestering.....on that turkey.
  9. Both my computer screens were like tom toms today....
  10. Still remember watching Ty in a couple of X games.....and thinking, holy cow, what do we have here. What we had.....was a CFL Hall of Famer
  11. They were too scared to show up on the schedule......
  12. Bailey sure opened up some eyes, down the stretch, this year...
  13. Haven't seen a group this tight since Mike Riley and Cal.
  14. Most likely guy gone, from a age and aspiration perspective is Alford (NFL)
  15. O’Shea is now six-for-six in Grey Cup games. He won all three of his appearances as a player (1996, 1997, 2004), his only appearance as an assistant coach (2012), and both of his appearances as a head coach (2019, 2021). Winner Kinda like Cal Murphy version 2
  16. We started throwing the ball a bit more, particularly on first downs, and was less predictable as time wore on
  17. Bombers were dominant in crunch time (4th quarter) all year. Why would it be any different, yesterday?
  18. Up all nite, too much gin... But it hurts so good
  19. Evans looked (again) nervous in the service. Masoli the vet, made decisions quicker, and played well....
  20. By tomorrow, like any good fan....will be fretting about how the Bombers can stay in the promised land. Tomorrow, that is..... Maybe.
