The Bombers really should be embarrassed with how they played tonight on offence

Harris runs for over 100 yards and the Bombers win. Same old story.

It was either a pick or an incomplete pass. It's impossible for that ball to be a TD. There is no argument.

I do not at all buy into the theory that the run game is suffering because there's no Harris. It wasn't this bad last year without him.

We're dumping on a kid who was born and raised in Canada, who spent his last high school season in the US and then played college in the US for not being Canadian enough? There are a lot of talented Canadian kids who play college ball in the US or who even play part of high school in the US. Dallas Sims is a Winnipeg kid who is playing in the US now for high school and has multiple D1 offers. Is he not Canadian enough?

I'd say if it rolls between your hands and the ground helped then it's an incomplete pass.............but then I remember the Duke Williams "catch" in the WF. Our command centre is trash.

Biggest take away for me... Andrew Harris is still much better than any RB we have... and most other RBs in the league... if he plays even 14 games this year, it'll be a miss by our management.

Well that makes up for the Argos first win which they shouldn't have got ..but man our offence needs to be reworked...we should have put those sad sacks away in first half...thinking maybe they should have rethink some the recievers we let go...we need some legit speed guys....and seeing as we don't need 6 Canadians starting on offence time to bring in a legit American back.....and if he can't cut it then maybe the online needs to be taken behind the woodshed for a thrashing and wake their asses up. First and goal at the 2.....MBT play action..... ....and flips it to Ambles who dives into the end zone Game will be tied with Blue blowing a 17 point lead.... Bede comes out for the convert....and pulls it way wide left! No good!! Another..... and the final Argo mistake... Short kick off attempt is caught by a leaping Jefferson.... 23-22 Bombers. 4-0. But work needs to be done... ....particularly on O.....not running ball inside......... ....lots of check downs and dumps in the passing game.... .....with little downfield blocking. I could go on..... But that would be like complaining about the gin consumed... The end result is still good.

We know it's all about timing, Just be the best team when playoffs start. Get there by winning games, any way you know how.

I remember watching the Kentucky Derby a couple of years ago and they were reviewing a interference claim. The cameras were right over the reviewers shoulders, we could see what they were looking at and their discussion. Transparency would be nice for the command centre. It's a new world, betting matters to the CFL and that play changes who covered.

I very specifically chose my words when I said "may not have won"... it was looking like OT with Toronto having all the momentum... of course, you never know what will happen... and I recall a game late last season when Hamilton forced OT and appeared to have all the momentum... how did that one turn out again? 😁 we're still waiting for the command centre to explain why Duke Williams' catch that clearly bounced off the turf in the 2021 West final was allowed to stand as a catch... don't hold your breath...

Just an ugly game but rather win ugly than lose ugly. I'm still stunned Bede missed the XP. Offense still remains a big issue. They've got to sort out the run game quickly.

To me he has possession the whole way and doesn't lose possession until banks pulls it out after he hits the ground. Which shouldn't be possible because soon as he touches he is down by contact. What the refs do though is err on the side of a touchdown and rely on review to get it right but this one was hard to overturn the call on the field.

Well I remember before our squad made it and we would play these super close games against teams like Calgary, we would bring our A game, totally out play them, end up losing games the way Toronto did. Seems like we would always make one extra mistake, take one extra penalty, they would get one extra big play when they needed it most. Now I see we’re in that position. Teams will always bring their A games against us because we’re the 2X defending champs, we’re the measuring stick to these teams to see if they can believe they can win it all. I don’t think we’re going to win a lot of pretty games this year but the key word is winning. I’ll take 4-0. There’s work to be done no doubt.

New poster here, but have been reading these boards for a while - best place to find Bombers news! Agree that Bighill was our best player. He was all over the field today (as per usual). One of the best tacklers to play the game and a sure hall of famer. I have to say that I'm kind of concerned with Buck's calling of the games so far - I don't know what we're doing running up the gut so much with a banged up o-line. We should be running sweeps and play-action to keep teams honest until Couture is back (sorry Kolankowski - you're doing a serviceable job, but getting pushed around in there). A bunch of odd short yardage plays as well... are we having issues with receivers and their routes? It's strange. Otherwise, I think I'm pretty close to done with the Oliveira experiment. I'm not seeing any improvement in his time here at all, and often when we call his number it results in a dead play.

Biggie was absolutely our best player tonight. In a year where, so far, Jefferson and Jeffcoat haven't been as dominant as they have been previously (but still damn good, don't get me wrong), Bighill has been the hammer on the defence so far. Legs - Hey, looks like the kid settling in. The punting and kickoffs seem to be much improved, and the hashmarks being moved in has helped a lot too. Happy for him - hopefully it continues and we have a national kicker we can count on for years to come. Yoshi - Gets rolled up on the first play of the game, then down the stretch in the clutch too but kept on going. Him, Big Stan and Neufeld are the vets holding the line together at the moment. Losing him would have been huge. HH - McCrae. Nothing on the statsheet that will jump off the page, but as I mentioned in a previous topic, his reps in pass protection were outstanding which is great to see in a rookie RB
