Wrs, I believe these are what’s left: Rambo, bridges, daniel’s, henry, addison, rhymes, gittens and robustelli.
Of those guys, rambo, robustelli, and bridges would be great combinations of value and fit. Rhymes and Gittens are likely out side of our price range. Rambo is my favorite of those 3, but who ever will come in to fight for a spot and do the dirty stuff at a good price would be best.
For pass rushers i’m including 40 ends, 3-4 ends and 3techs. We have the coaching staff and pieces to move guys around and capitalize on disruption from any where.
Shane ray is the coveted guy remaining, probably out of our price too. Cox from the riders is very under valued imo, Lanier could flourish is more limited reps he might help flip our DLs soft personality and push our culture there, Mauldin is a reclamation project but a guy who can elevate camp as a mercenary needing to take a job.
Of those guys, I’d really like cox, mauldin or lanier. Cox is the best player to step in for sure.
Onyenka would be a real nice depth/teams fit, especially if we don’t manage to draft some one who can play.
We could also go and look at the guys from the past 2 years drafts and haven’t gotten a chance or enough reps. We’ve had a couple good trades sending picks for guys like that. For guys like that, Ojo, brubacher, okpoko, Newell, harris, hubert, hergot, ageli, or von muehldorfer.
Some of those guys are teams dudes who you need to polish into limited rep use. Some are guys who can get after the qb in limited reps, but you should polish into more useful teams/back end roster guys.
Of those I like Newell, Brubacher, Von muehldorfer and silas hubert.
Our dl is soo thin, we need talent, especially canadian talent. We have a starter and no guy who is a starter if he goes down.

I think we definitely won the early going in FA.....The one spot that has great implications going forward is at qb......Maybe one of the recent pivot signings, surprises the hell out of us in tc ...Other than that, Elgersma might show up and prove he's the second coming of Rourke or better...A lot of question marks for sure ....however our early signings certainly must have caught the eye few potential qbs. who see us as definite contenders....Will we see a resurgence comparable to the New England Pats????...contender to pretender and back to relevance....Time will tell but so far I like what I'm seeing

Winners = Winnipeg and Ottawa (both improved areas of need ) bombers got the best OL and DL available. They also improved cdn depth slightly by signing Nield (more than slightly) and grabbed a realiable veteran cornerback. The only question mark with the bombers Is backup qb but options appear limited. Bombers signed all their important free agents and every one is well minus Kyrie Wilson but if the worst move is signing Kyrie who is a solid veteran leader to a 1 year deal. Then yeah bombers are winners
Losers = Hamilton and Saskatchewan ( they lost the most players) maybe Toronto also as losing RD and McManiss is 2 huge losses.

The rest id keep in the neutral to stayed the same category.

I DO have some very valuable inside, privy-type info.
When going to the privy, doing so inside is waaaay better than outside.
You may find that controversial, but it is entirely true.

In general, I don't like that insider info type of thing. 99% of the time, it's BS. 1-2 people on here do get some, but the nature of football is that you might get it, and it might be true. Then, 2 weeks later, it changes. If it's a week-old bit of info, it could go south very fast. Because I'm not involved in the follow ups, I generally disregard inside info.
People would be surprised by some of the types who lurk on here, or the relationships a few posters have with players, coaches, etc. I can speak to that from personal experience, and for an absolute fact. What people tell them with those relationships, I can't speak to.

Hell we have had players, players parents at very least post on message boards prior to this one so I doubt I'd be surprised by anything.
I'm 90% sure Glen Suitor reads these boards and uses it for his material prep.

I think you're looking for the word 'conjecture'....the board is full of it....I don't mean 'full of it'' in the derogatory sense....although some takes come close to it....How some fans can claim they are 'privy' to inside operations is amazing...In the end it ends up being 'controversial' and that's what this board and others feed off...It's all good and I'm sure there's enough intelligent people on here that can sift through the commentary and pass judgement on what is believable and just isn't.....

He's one of those guys every team in the league should consider.
It's like when we basically got Biggie by default after his NFL stint. Everyone else didn't have money or a spot, so we offered a princely deal on a real up-and-comer team, but the competition for him was beyond light. That was a brutal mistake by the rest of the league, as he came back and was one of the very best defensive players for a couple of years. His versatility was a keystone to our D, just like BA going to S later on. Ever team should kick the tires on him.
