I have volunteered at shelters working with dogs and these dogs come from tough backgrounds...to say the least. I wish weather was the only concern. I have never done the work he is doing. Snatching up puppies is one thing, the older dogs is no easy work Physically and emotionally. Some are in tremendous distress. I have been on the "getting them ready to find a home" side so I get the funner stuff. Which can be challenging enough. I prefer the bigger dogs but enjoy working with them all. Big props to him, and proud to call him a Manitoban and a Bomber. Big props to Hunter helping this group. Props to everyone who does this stuff. I don't include myself in this, comparatively I do ******* nothing.

You guys are nuts lol Lawler got a DUI and the only thing most people wanted to talk about around here was “good on him for being forthcoming about it” Purifoy probably didn’t do a damn thing other than land himself in the drunk tank for a night. He wasn’t charged with a crime, he got put in timeout because he was probably amped up about the situation and needed the time to chill out. He was forthcoming to the Riders about it, they addressed it and everyone should move on. I know it’s in style to just automatically hate everything about the Riders no matter what but let’s be honest, this is way way WAY less significant than what Lawler did. Suspend Purifoy a total of 0 games and let’s just heckle him on Sunday instead.

If AH33 was our starting RB and we had no Canadian backup or any reliable back up for that matter I’d be concerned. But with 2 solid back ups and a legit passing attack I’m really not concerned who starts at RB. Would love to see him out there though shredding up the Riders

Well I am not sure who you talking about in regards to Lawler. I know I said that he deserves everything he got and his troubles are far from over. I am not saying he committed a crime, but if you think he got taken into police custody for being loud or "amped up" as a nothing incident then I think you are nuts. He clearly crossed a line to where police thought he was a threat to others or himself. I never said he should be suspended and don't rhink he needs to be based on what we know. I don't believe he just happened to be around and got taken to jail for zero reason.

My cousin and his wife foster these types of dogs and help find homes for them. Really tough situation for some otherwise great pups.

^^ These people exist in all walks of life, and in all cultures. When you have medical professionals and educators who will lose their job rather than get jabbed or take rapid tests, it's pretty damn hard to convince a hesitant lay person to get vaccinated. They see it when they or someone else gets really sick, when it's usually too late.

OK, let’s see if we can apply the same logic here. Got them where we want them (in our home barn we we haven’t lost all year). Keep being justifiably confident in the top team in the league. A few notes to add for those grasping at any reason to shoot down the Bombers: 1) Bombers were dominant enough to give themselves a cushion to not have to play any meaningful games for the final month. 2) Bombers find ways not to wind up in close games (10 wins by double digits) but also could win a close one if needed. 3) Bombers starting o-line, d-line, secondary, and offence all got stronger as the year went on, and their kicking game also got better in their last 5 games. 4) Bombers lost to only 3 teams all year. They also beat those same teams (unlike the Riders, who have yet to beat one of the teams they lost to twice - us), and two of the 3 teams we lost to are no longer threats to beat us again this year (again, unlike Sask, who have their biggest threat on the road this weekend). 5) What Sask should be trying to avenge is the 3 goal line stands that were the difference, not a bad throw off a bar with the receiver in double coverage anyway that would have only at best tied the game. But we have waited two years to win again and prove that your crossbar excuse for losing is just that, an excuse, and not a valid argument that you had a chance in that 2019 game.
