Hello Went down a rabbit hole one Sunday night and dug up the W/L numbers as starters for Collaros and Flutie (didn't have to go digging for Mitchell's with the milestone he just hit). Was sharing them with Noeller and 17to85 but thought maybe some of you might have interest. These are all current. Win/Loss on a single team (minimum 50 Starts) Flutie (Stamps) - 63 Starts - 50 W - 13 L. .794 winning percentage Mitchell (Stamps) - 117 Starts - 90 W - 25 L - 2 T. .778 winning percentage Collaros (Bombers 2019 - present) - 66 Starts - 51 W - 15 L. .773 winning percentage All time Win/Loss Flutie - 105 Starts - 78 W - 27 L. .743 winning percentage Mitchell - 143 Starts - 100 W - 41 L - 2 T. .706 winning percentage Collaros - 132 Starts - 85 W - 47 L. .644 winning percentage A few observations. I have given Bo 1 win for his 2 ties. Fluties only real losing was to start his career in BC. And even that was only for 1 year. You can see his numbers with the Stamps, and by my count the 2 years he was an Argo, they went 15-3 both years. The only way to spin that Bo wins more than Flutie is to use the "fastest to 100 wins" when we know Flutie didn't play enough to get 100 wins. I was curious when I put this together if Bo's record was actually better than Flutie's. We can see its not, and isn't really that close. I guess when he first left Calgary, it was but he's dropped off since then. And Zack's run in Winnipeg... When he left Hamilton after 2017, he was 24-27 as a starter (even coming here he was only 34-32 as a starter after Sask), and since that time has somehow willed his way into the conversation here. Collaros would have been #1 on the team chart until 2024 happened. Almost half of all his losses as a bomber were in 2024. Mathematically he can't get to 100 wins in less than 143 (absolute best he can do now is 147), but I could see him passing Bo for all time wins or winning percentage all time. Flutie is probably untouchable, and I'm okay with that.

And a Bomber game is far more fun than a Jets game.

This is a slippery slope. Stamps attempted 18 passes all game. They got up big and then played not to lose. The way the DLine was getting dog walked and the DBs were getting outworked by the receivers in the first half, had the offense had the juice to turn it into a shootout Adams likely would have ended up with 400 yards.

It’s gonna be a thing for a long time. Pissing away gc games isn’t all good. If you are happy with participation ribbons that’s great for you. Most fans especially the type to be forum goers are not that type. We had the ability to be the greatest dynasty in cfl history, and threw it away because our team didn’t want it enough to do what it took to win it.

Nye is picking Calgary this week, so we should be fine. The Stampeders return from their bye to take on the undefeated Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Calgary will hope that a week of rest will help them bounce back from a Week 3 defeat against the Ottawa REDBLACKS. Can they slow down the Blue Bombers, who are a perfect 3-0 on the season? The majority of the pick makers think so and are predicting Vernon Adams Jr. and co. will hand the Bombers their first loss.

honestly I am finished with Collaros. He has always liked to force tight windows but he doesn't have the arm to do it anymore and he gave the stamps 14 points trying to force things. He's just old and hasn't shown the ability to change his game. He's not the future and I'm not sure he's the present outside of the occasional game like last week. All this for a high price tag. Time to cut bait on some of the old players. 2019 was a long time ago.

Yeah the big thing for me is their mainstays on DL are Willie and Jake at 34 years old and the young gun Vaughters at 32.... that's not sustainable. We desperately need an injection of youth at end to keep the old guys fresh. At this rate we'll burn them out by the end of summer.

The only spot Parker has looked really good at is SAM. If he's 15 yards downfield he's treading water and struggling with reads. Corner he'd probably have to think less too and maybe could play a bit faster. I'd like to get a look at Allen. Someone a little more rangy who can also cover man all over the field which is necessary in the match coverages. Also, call Russ Dandy back. We need some oomph at corner. Both corners have eaten **** so far this season. Get some guys who will play the ball.

Dickey beat the brakes off MOS by having a team that was far more prepared and interested in playing last night. Out schemed is on Younger and Hogan who had absolutely horrid game plans and total lack of adjustments throughout the game.

Was a classic Jake tackle, reaches out and hangs on as the back is running past him. And I said during the game, T. Jones makes a lot of tackles but not a lot of plays.

I still cant get over the fact when it was 99.9999% obvious the game was done by end of 3rd quarter, why wasnt Strev in getting valuable work....Why keep running your physical RB with a recent shoulder injury in a game that was not gonna be won...risking a set back?...he got enough work to knock any rust off Why didnt we go for 2 on our TD....If only for the sake of practicing it for when we may need it under live fire...we rarely go for it ever and when we do the odd time....its not generally a success....these are the games you should practice these things Same with the onside kick....we get it...great...we dont...big deal cause it wouldn't have mattered anyway so may as well get in the practice Just lame brain dumb coaching calls...

Yep they were totally prepared. They had two weeks and got us at home, we get to return the favour. So we’ll see what kind of adjustments we’ll make in two weeks. On the TSN broadcast they were talking about the last time we got blown out by a team in the regular season and it was against B.C I believe they next time we played them we lay that 50 point beating on them. So curious to see how we respond.

That's easy, a linebacker. This group does an awful lot of good things, but the way they've utilized the defensive line the last few years is bad. Full stop. The way they refuse to sit hurt guys in important moments is bad flat out.

Pretty interesting breakdown. I did a breakdown of Zach's playoff and GC stats after the last couple of losses. It'd be interesting to compare the 3s regular season, playoffs, and GC stats per game. I think it is important to note that the era Flutie played in was very different from Zach and BLM. Aside from the steady rise in talent level/athleticism/size of players, the ratio changes and volume of Cahoon esq fake NIs have changed the game a lot. Flutie is the greatest to ever play in the CFL imo. With the biggest gap between him and his competitors. Winning on different teams at the level he did is pretty impressive, too. Part of me thinks that eventually records fall and Goats are replaced. But Idk about Flutie. The nature of the NFL poaching CFL talent now, and the NFL's increased willingness to take all types and sizes of QBs, it is hard to imagine his standard being beaten.

I can't believe we're still doing this to ourselves... Over and over with the GC losses. Christ. Zach buggers his ankle in the WF in 23. Zach shreds his hand in 24. Both total flukes and changed the situation dramatically. And injuries to Bighill, Schoen and others are absolutely massive to the outcome. But honestly... We need to move on. It's 5 straight Championships of the toughest division in Canadian football. Anything can happen in a one game, winner take all. All good, yo.

Wallace played fine but the Bombers run game was weak in both those games he started. The OL absolutely dominated with Vanterpol starting. Maybe that’s why he’s back in. 🤔

i'd be bringing in true Nose's and multi use DT's for sure...a WR that has return experience and another rush end type....pure pass rush specialst

Thomas, not even being a GTD is strange. Missed 2/3 practices. We seem married to the idea that the only rotation our DL needs is bringing in all the Canadians at once for a package. The sad thing is, Vaughters and WJ have been the least effective pair of ends in the league thus far. Our limited pressures mostly come from Adams and Lawson being on the field at the same time, or one of them individually making a play.

We should’ve learned our lesson last year from what Bryant went through. If a linemen is sick for a week, don’t throw him into the heat of a summer game. have the opportunity to make some good changes, not betting we will see more than 1 positive change though.

I have no negative feelings towards Adam Bighill playing for the Stamps . If he can still play then good for him. I think he should stay retired but that's just me. I wish Adam the best as he was a warrior for us.

I’m not sure Cooley has shown enough to warrant a 3rd RB on the roster.
