  1. I was there today, although brief. Brought my 12 year old brother and his friend. They were bored. Anyone I noticed Coyne again. He's quick and gets open. Scored a deep td up the seam on a so so ball from Pigrome. Good read to find him though. THEN Coyne drops an easy out route. Makes me wonder what the coaches think of him. Fast and good routes but inconsistent catching the ball. didn't observe too much today, sorry . Will maybe try and go back tomorrow

  5. bombers cut Tavaris Harrison and signed wr amare jones. Bit surprised Harrison is gone with out at least another pre season game after sticking all last year. Jones is a former dual threat qb all purpose offensive gimmick/kr guy. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/amare-jones/32004a4f-4e03-0344-d021-e5b3f4af43a1 https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Amare-Jones-RB-Tulane

  7. I always liked Mo as a player and a person. If this is bad beans about his former team and the way he was treated, then it isn't much. I'm glad his is still doing his thing no matter what league it may be and wish him all the best. Until his Achilles tear he was an amazing player and a key cog on this team. I don't see any really bad stuff against his former team or the way he was treated here.

  8. I’m sure mo was really bitter. I would be in his spot. He and randle just had rotten luck and couldn’t keep it together long enough. But those two guys started the defensive and winning turn around. They paid a whole lot of sweat equity. Iirc mo was hurt came back late wasn’t the same and wasn’t in the next years camp.

  13. Ooooof that really sucks. I wonder if we just couldn't afford him or what. Curious how close to his level of play Anthony Bennett can be...

  14. Jeffcoat isn’t likely to play a full season at any point, our d needs that de rotation. the question is would he be worth cutting Castillo. this is the cost of greatness. You lose guys to the nfl and to free agency. It hurts that other than rose the guys who’ve gone down haven’t come back, but the lifeblood of a dynasty isn’t getting those guys back. The lifeblood is next man up. We’ve gotta fill those gaps internally, same as yesterday.

  15. Kongbo is what Kongbo is. The bigger issue competitively is when healthy BC can have 3 of Betts, Kongbo, Menard, Cherry, Hladik, Lokombo on the field at all times and stack their secondary and offense with more imports. But they still have to hope for a Dane Evans revival. All of those Canadians on D for BC are better players when they only need to play 30 snaps a game though.

On CBC radio Saturday afternoon, they presented an in-depth report on how Take Back Alberta infiltrated, influenced and finally now dominates the Alberta Conservative party. It involved a form of gerrymandering delegate selections as well as opening polling places late and closing them early to ensure that the "right" delegates went to the conventions and promoted the desired policies. It was a chilling parallel to what the Qanon has done to the GOP in the US and doubtless there was tactical advise that flowed across the border. Somehow the leadership of the Alberta Cons have either been blissfully unconcerned or neutered while their party was suborned.

  17. If that was it then it wasn’t as bad as I remember. I thought he went off on Twitter as well. I mean, he basically accused the coaching staff of only caring about their own careers, and that is pretty heavy. It also runs in contradiction to basically everything said in the past few years. So did they do a 180? Or was Moe just bitter? If that was it then I’m over it.

  18. He was as much a solid all round defensive end as he is a pass rusher.

  19. Kongbo had some spectacular plays. You're crazy if you think he's just another pass rusher. Assuming he is the same as 2021, he will be a difference maker for the Lions.

    Religious Beliefs

Religious beliefs are a topic that is often raised on these boards, mostly with a negative slant Given what goes on in many circles, that's understandable but also unfair As a person of faith, I have just a few things to air out 1. The Bible is unlike many other texts, but at the same time it's similar to many other texts 2. If you're looking at it as an ancient, irrelevant text - you are going to find that point of view 3. If you're looking for sex, violence and patriarchy - you are going to find them 4. But if you're looking for applicable life lessons - you will find them 5. If you're looking for peace and love - you will find them I think we're capable of having a respectful discourse on this topic. And, who knows, some learning just might happen.

  29. I think pre season will be the make or break for guys like him and pigrome. but he and any other wr is gonna need to be extraordinary in order to crack our pr. As it is I think they will try hard to get the projected starters plus grant plus agudosi all on the roster.

  30. Except that drive and passport are two completely different and unrelated things… @Mr. Perfect is correct that Kongbo was never spectacular here… his biggest contribution was providing competent reps so Willie and Jeffcoat could stay fresh… the question is not about what Kongbo was but what can he become given the opportunity… I think we’d all love to have him back but it’s not necessarily earth shattering

  32. He went on the Pederson show a few years ago and absolutely trashed our teams management and some of our players as well. It was gross and I lost all respect for him...so I will say again..screw Mo Leggett. If you don't agree..so be it.

  36. Leggett was angry when he left the Bombers, went on Rod Pedersen's stupid podcast and bad-mouthed the Bombers... Said something about how the locker room was bad... It was all sour grapes. This woulda been 2019 I think...

Just shows how harmful brainwashing children with religious beliefs at a young age can be, many live the rest of their lives as damaged goods handcuffed to past teachings. "Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone."

  40. Over in Calgary, receiver Reggie Begelton is talking about having four players crack the 1,000-yard mark, something that has been done only four times in league history. That raised an eyebrow or two in the Winnipeg camp. “He can say it,” Lawler said. “Now it’s about doing it. So we’ll see. That’s what’s great about this group. No one cares about that. We don’t care who the 1,000-yard receivers are.”

  43. I enjoyed watching Ricky get handled up here then go back down and have some very good years in the nfl, but all I remember of him was being very respectful and positive towards the cfl. Both before and after. Talking trash like that about how much production he’d put up isn’t very Ricky Williams.
