Mannix, there was a guy who should have got CTE. He was knocked cold almost every episode. I never saw him take a concussion protocol ever.

Morrow was really solid last season, I think lots of guys are really off their game and haven't locked it in yet. If this is the worst the team can look then I'm not complaining.

Yeah, the CFL has been shown at least 3 times now on that show. I noticed that the first clip they used this season was the same one they used last season.

I see that perspective about the Yes people, I just dont understand why people feel that way. I think its more to do with dug-in opinions creating a bias (for both sides). The thing to me, when looking at the Yes side....the yes side seems generally more educated about the finer points. A lot of No people are "fix my roads, dont spend money, streets will run red with blood of dead pedestrians". I honestly think most of the concerns are easily answered and thats why the yes side comes across perhaps arrogant because they think they have all the answers. For the most part they do.

In spite of all the jokes I read here about Sask. We are a community owned team and a mostly rural province. No one is too happy about this and it is a disappointment. Playing for the Riders is one of the biggest things that happens here. They are held to a very high standard. They are humans and humans make mistakes. I do object to all the posts looking down on Hughes, as if most of the people here have never had too many drinks and got behind the wheel. I am not defending what he did, but can admit I have done some things in my younger days that I'm not overly proud of now.

We're also 1st in rushing attempts (348, 2nd SSK with 318) Nichols never throws TD passes He has 15 TDs (5th in league), and the Bombers run the ball often in the red zone, his lower TD pass total is attributable to the fact we lead the league in rushing TDs (19, 2nd is TOR with 16). Also he has only played 13 of 16 games due to injury this year. Nichols can't throw deep Can't, or LaPo just doesn't call for it? We are dead last in team attempts of 20+ yards (70, most is CGY with 115), but to be honest, besides Adams, who is our deep threat? As for being unable to throw them - his completion % is 30.8%, Reilly on the other hand is 42.0% (best is actually Masoli with 46.7%), Our offense leads the league in scoring and TD's and is 2nd to only EDM in 1st downs (339 vs 336) and you're calling for the head of the guy who runs it? I don't understand how Nichols draws such criticism and ire from his own fan base, especially after we hang 31 points on arguably one of the better defensive units in the league.

Yeah, I doubt Matt Nichols gives a wet fart what you think or what advice you can offer. Even when the guy does something well (throwing the long ball is hardly his strength), you have to poke holes in it and resort to needless and over-the-top criticism. Give it a rest. He had every right to celebrate that TD and there was nothing wrong with it, so quit being butthurt about it and enjoy the win - the win Nichols helped the team get.

It looks like age is just catching up with him, he's 34 now, already has some Grey Cup rings... what else does he have to play for? As for the actual offense, I completely agree... doesn't matter the method of impairment, getting behind the wheel of a vehicle impaired is just plain stupid.

If this isn't his first offense, he calls himself an Alcoholic, which is a disease, so his employers have to try and help him. Can't fire him. Hughes has profile in a community and is supposed to set an example...he failed...The law will consider this and in most cases will come down harder on a person like Hughes...These guys in riderville, who are trying to pass this off as a 'oh so what', are going to be in for a rude awakening...The courts AND the court of public opinion can and most likely will be harsher in Hughes case...The team will have no choice but to follow suit...Things to consider before you get behind the wheel of a car, and by your intoxication turn it into a weapon ...Giant fail by Hughes

I wouldn't really say you really BEAT us twice tho...you won the games sure and it counts towards the win loss record certainly..but beating us and being the better team over the course of the 2 games is a total stretch...and like many say...it's a what have you done for me lately thing...and over the last 2 games you guys havn't scored an offensive touchdown...not even close to it so that should be a major cause for concern especially with the new injuries.
