Back from where?...didnt know he left for anywhere and I dont follow the Argos comings and goings much....a lot like their fan base save for a couple hundred or so

Guess he just got released by Atlanta..... but I think this feels like an over-hyped return. I still don't trust their QBing, and without that, nothing else really matters...

While MBT was far from spectacular he knew how to play within himself. Basically managed the Grey Cup game while the Bombers were routinely shooting themselves in the foot. Chad Kelly is a complete wild card. Sure he came in and won the Grey Cup game. All props to him for that. But just wait until teams have film on him.

The flyout schedule on the CFL homepage shows a May 22 ex. game for no discernable reason, and has the home team wrong in the season opener. And on the Bomber site it shows 1 game, and that's it.

It is 2023. Get your **** together CFL.

And the arrows on the main page to navigate the schedule make no sense! Go backwards then forwards, and it skips a bunch. And it defaults to a game from 3 days ago. Wtf?

As a software developer this **** infuriates me.

And look how little vertical content I get on Desktop. So bad.

If you want to see the stats, you have to turn off your ad blocker because CFL.CA uses: ssl.connextra.com (TSN.CA/CFL stats work without turning off ad blockers)

It's blocked by NextDNS, Adguard, & Peter Lowe (Adblock, Adblock Plus, Etc).

I cant imagine Chris Jones being involved with this. LOL

CFL team accused of “egregious lack of professionalism, awareness of player safety” in recent open tryout; Ex-Texas player speaks out

Sources tell FootballScoop complaint filed with various CFL entities against Edmonton Elks after Los Angeles-area tryout

An “open tryout” earlier this spring for the Canadian Football League’s Edmonton Elks has resulted in complaints against the long-time CFL franchise after Elks’ staff members asked participants to help set up the field, time 40-yard dashes and other elements in the bizarre event at Pasadena City College, numerous sources told FootballScoop.

Sounds like a coddled punter from University of Texas confronting the reality of being a fringe pro football player.

Honestly I went into reading it expecting it to be some Chris jokes gong show. It really didn’t sound like that. Even just from his perspective and I’m sure the truth is some where between his position and the elks.
They weren’t timing or any thing they just watched the launch to make sure guys didn’t creep up.
Sounds to me like the elk didn’t want to see the specialists at their best and most comfortable. They wanted to stress test them. Making them do all 3 jobs makes sense not just with cfl rosters but to know what the guy has for versatility.
Mid 70s is likely low 20s to maybe 25c.

the only really dumb thing it sounds like they did was bring 1 jug of water. That is all the kinds of stupid. Some old really dumb coaches used to restrict water in heat. We all know how that worked out and why it’s not done any more. Could be Chris jones is one, I wouldn’t be stunned. Could be they were lazy ill prepared and indifferent. Which is no surprise either.

LMAO, no kidding. Love this line:

"(We) have never heard of anything like what the Elks required Daniel to endure and suffer."

Poor baby. How will he ever recover?? Tool.

Helps to build a roster when you’re paying your QB $67 thousand dollars. That’s not a luxury they’ll get again if he proves to even be adequate.

this is the same thing we said about BC last year... their plan was to cheap out at QB and load up on other skill positions.... so either it works out and they're on the hook for paying the QB (which they would've had he not gone to the NFL)... or it doesn't... Toronto has to win it all this year for the plan to work out
