  3. I can't even imagine going winless at home for that many seasons. Kudos to the fans who do show up for that.

  7. While I love the crossbar jokes- if Marcus Sayles just knocks the ball down instead of going for a pick and deflecting it to Moore (I think?) we wouldn’t have to hear about how they almost got to the Grey Cup (even though the cross bar throw was going incomplete or intercepted anyway) That is how the 2019 WF should have ended.

  8. One big change I noticed in Edmonton these past two seasons is they now have a bunch of really cheap seats and a bunch of really expensive seats. I'm not sure that's the way to move forward. Why don't I buy the cheapest season ticket and just sit wherever I want when it's 2/3 empty?

  10. That's a total different situation...aging broke down player in downtrend of his career..versus a younger player...hitting his appex with good years still ahead of him...he ain't going anywhere

  13. I don't quite understand why the last play was blown dead. Was he out of bounds when missed fg was caught? It wasn't really explained, they just said there was a penalty on the play.😕

  14. Are some of you STILL worrying about other teams? It's not 2012 anymore guys, let it go. We're the cream of the crop now, so the only team that can beat us is us.

  15. I'll be there... Last year was ******* cold wind. Didn't matter to me one iota. Whatever makes it tougher on BC.... Also this:

  16. Yup..BA was right there...and Taylor too...plus the trajectory of ball..height of cross bar and depth of Moore it was a typical Faj toss...high and not catchable...and if he was able to get his hands on it 2 bombers were gonna light him up...and even the they still needed to make the convert to just tie...people make it seem like they make that throw they were cup bound...and that's just not the case

  17. What's great about our current situation versus years past is how we are able to attract players to stay or come on over. I will enjoy this to its fullest while it lasts.

  19. The last time the Elks won at home: Trump still has a year left in his Presidency The Bombers are still on a 29 year Grey Cup drought, and Zach Collaros has not yet dressed for a game with them No one knows what a “COVID” is The Elks don’t even exist, the Eskimos still do

  20. Ya we've all said the ideal scenario is BC comes outta the cozy dome and into frigid IGF on Nov 13. In theory should be in our favour, so we'll see what happens.....

  21. I'd be a bit concerned about the Bombers facing Harris in the playoffs to be honest. We know what that guy can do when he is pissed off...

  22. You're confusing fan worry with Walters worry. Walters has a budget and tiers. I imagine his first thoughts are attempting to lock up Schoen and Demski. He may have his eyes on other CFL FA's, but he's need to deal with in-house guys first.

  23. I'd rather Walters pays Demski first, he's a more critical signing than Lawler.

  26. Fans should watch the old games & see the legends do their thing. Some of those players were good enough to be stars today. A player that really impressed me with his toughness & quickness was Winnipeg native Billy Cooper who played for the Rough Riders. He was athletic, quick & agile. He was a backup receiver but the Rough Riders primary punt returner. Easy to see why. In an era where the punt returners had no blocking... it was 12 to 1, Cooper broke a punt return for 20 some yards. Ottawa receiver Margene Adkins had very good hands & was a burner. For Toronto, players that stood out for me were Fullback Bill Symons & QB Tom Wilkinson Yep, have to wonder about the advice Desjarlais getting from those around him like his agent, close family & friends.

His M.O. has always been to choke legal proceedings with delay and exhaust his opponent in legal costs until they settle for pennies on the dollar with a non-disclosure agreement. He didn’t realize that the Government has much deeper pockets and essentially unlimited resources at its disposal and can out wait him. And they seem in no mood to cut him a deal at this point.

I cannot fathom how any sane person seeing what has transpired in the US under Trump's administration can aspire to follow that example. Trump and his flunkies, emulators and parasites have created a toxic social and political atmosphere. This has led to all manner of violence, poverty, a falling average personal income, overt racism, militarization of police, and many, many other ills. What of these things do they want?

Hearing about some of the statements of our politicians makes me think you may be right about a drug problem. On a serious note, criminalizing personal drug usage serves no purpose and actually worsens things. Switzerland and Portugal have been leading the way to dealing with drug usage much more effectively and humanely.

  41. this exactly...u seen it in 2019 already...nobody expected him to throw, cause he never did it, and coming out of college his passer rating and analysis was horrid....If u go back and watch his early starts...db's didnt expect them to go long...so they were caught off guard early and often with letting guys behind them....but if u look at the result it was a moonshot ball...underthrown where receiver either had to stop...or come back to get it with DB's in chase mode not look back for ball...he had some successes' don't get me wrong...but was more a recipient of team around him...he fell into a good spot...buts the talent and character evaporatd around him...and he needed to lead and win games based on his skill...well we seen what's going on. Since 2019 I can think of maybe 1...possibly 2 deep..or even deepish shots where he hit a receiver in stride so he could catch a ball in full burst....and have we even ever seen him throw a guy open...or manage a pass for a guy to run under, or lead a receiver on??? Throw in his non-ability to read a defense, or run through progressions and you have another issue....and don't even get me started on hius footwork and pocket presence and sense, and delivery...right garbage

  42. This is not a joking matter. We are using humor to cope and drive home factual points. Unfortunately though humor I find is not built into the DNA of knuckle draggers. For example, most (not all) good stand-up comedians aren't lunatics waving the Trump flag around.

You have no idea what you are talking about. On one hand you say you don't know much about pollievre and then on the other you say he is standing up for the little guy. You are a fascists dream. You believe whatever crap you are fed. No one had their rights taken away. That's just something selfish dumb people say to justify their selfish dumb behaviors.

  45. You did misinterpret. Those are privileges, not rights. And in the Charter, Rights are subject to reasonable limitations for the greater public good. And if you had a clear medical issue that was not elective, your right to medical treatment would not have been denied.

No one is joking. We're just living this "freedumb" nightmare. It's not at all about personal rights. It's about their own, selfish position. They want personal freedom at the expense of everyone else's freedom. They're fine to trade.
