    Good for Alford… his story is pretty awesome. Wasn’t playing at all in 2020, lost all of his professional workouts. CFL all star, Grey Cup champion, and now in the NFL. Great for him!

    Lucky coming back here never really made any sense on any level. **** BC, but the league is better with him in it, so I'm glad to see him back for another couple years. Best of luck to a true character in this league!

    The best true rookie db I've ever seen. First pro every thing in 2021. I hope he kills it down in Atlanta. I believe once you are declared as an imp you can't change. But a few guys in the league should be re classified as globals.

    Jackson at 175 is a bargain. Both combined for 200 I can live with. They’re absolutely worth it combined. Both could probably get easily an extra 25k somewhere else so glad to have them both locked in under market value.

    yeah,,we got Jeffcoat for a steal....worth more than PED Leonard thats for sure...avg price of 200k for our ends is a nice area...I see Biggie at about 225..230k I think...which is workeable to sign others

    Just to split hairs I’d rather not call them vaccine passports but rather have people show their immunization cards. The cynical part of me tho is all this will lead to is a huge spike in black market revenue because, you know, human beings. I’m becoming less and less of a fan of our species.

    If a slug like Lenius can get an NFL contract then a stud like Alford was almost certain to get one too. Luckily, secondary won't be an issue for us. We are deep there and have the best recruiting in the CFL for DBs.

    Agreed. Need to see more than go routes and screens before I see him as an NFLer level WR. It isn't like the NFL is unaware of his return ability either. Not trying to be down on him and happy he got paid but I wouldn't have wanted the Bombers to give him that contract.

    Great for Alford, too bad about Lucky not to be a BB. all I’ve seen about a National is that the guy has to be a Canadian citizen at the time of signing their first CFL contract or practice agreement, and some other definitions further defined here: https://cfldb.ca/glossary/rosters/ I couldn’t pass a test on the designations at this point.

    I think it's as simple as enforcing the restrictions they put in. And, soon (very soon), everyone who is unvaccinated will get Covid anyhow. It's too rampant at this point.

    Happy for Lucky, and yeah...It would have been a hard fit here....but....hopefully that makes the Riders pay around 230k or so for Duke....The eyegouging spitshow I assume thinks he's worth top dollar...3/4 million in him and Faj should hamper them rather nicely

    I have no idea what " mandatory vaccines " means. I'd love it if every single person got vaccinated. I'm all for vaccine passports for things like sporting events and restaurants. But you can't force people to get vaccines.You can't hold them down and jab them and you can't deny them the fundamentals of Canadian life.

    The American political system is fatally biased against the average American. Corporations can donate as much money to candidates as they wish, gerrymandering is a common practice, non-Caucasian voters are suppressed and "corporations are people". Every political system has flaws, but the US system is grotesquely warped.

    any of you that have never seen the Comedy Central "Roast Of Bob Saget", go track it down online. One of the best (THE best??) they've ever done. Gilbert Gottfried's set is straight up one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. "I'm here to address the rumour that BOB SAGET RAPED AND KILLED A GIRL IN 1990!!
