Tomorrow is the inaugural start of the CFL Free Agency Negotiating Window. There are a few things to like about this, not the least of which, is the standardization by which teams can communicate and potentially make binding offers with free agent prior to the formal free agency opening on Feb 11. The interested team's specific player offers are submitted to the CFL and CFLPA between Feb 2nd (noon) and 9th (noon). Now it gets good, because all offers will then be shared with the rest of the CFL teams before each team gets 48 hrs to negotiate with their own players.The player has the final 2 hours to mull over all of their offers before making a decision. Since this is the first go, I'm expecting glitches. Hopefully we're treated to some leaks along the way.

If the democrats were acting like this everyone would be outraged. Hell a lot of people didn't vote for hillary on principle because of their displeasure with her. That is where progressives and regressives differ. Progressives have principles, regressives only guiding principle is "**** the other side no matter what" The best analogy ever. Vernon Adams had a breakout year. Fourth in the league in passing yards, In 16 games, Adams attempted 431 passes & completed 283 for 3,942 yards. He had a 65.7% completion average with 24 touchdowns & 13 interceptions. His interception % was 3.1%. & Adams was tied for the league lead with Dane Evans & Cody Fajardo for yds per completion among starters at 9.1 yards. He had a QB Efficiency Rating of 100.9. That's not too shabby for a first year starter & hardly average. So yes, I'd say he flourished under Khari's system. I think Adams will only get better as time goes on. The guy is perfectly suited for the Canadian game.

The Argos could offer Nichols 300 and he would have to take it. His hands are tied.

I really hope they dont lose one and win one the rest of the season and Chevy trades some picks for help that doesn’t help and we just squeak into the playoffs and get swept. Anyway Maurice can breath easy tonight.

I did too. But every single time I've counted this guy out. He proves me wrong! I'm firmly on his team now!!

I remember 2016 very well... the team was 1-4 (or about to be)... we were sitting in IGF and I said to my lifelong friend/fellow season ticket holder " I might be done, if this season continues like this, I don't think I'm coming back next year"... this was our 13th season has season ticket holders.... The next game in Edmonton, Matt Nichols was named as the starter over Drew Willy... a couple other changes were made too... Loffler started at S, Bond was moved to G and Hardrick at RT... and that started something different... that was the first day that the team became competitive and we finally saw the results of that last November... Long story short... without Matt Nichols I am confident that Mike O'Shea and Kyle Walters would no longer be employed by the Bombers and we would not have seen the drought end in November... for that, all Bombers fans owe Nichols a huge amount of gratitude... some people did not love Matt's play over the past 12-18 months... which is fair... but you can't deny that he was one of the major reasons this team is where it is today. Thank you Matt Nichols... all the best in the future...

I was in Seattle from Xmas Day to last night. I was at the airport waiting for our flight & the crowds around every bar & tv watching the Hawks-Niners game was incredible. There was tons of excitement. Especially the ending. I don't find the NFL plodding. Unless Jacksonville is playing Cincinnatti.
