Same with Baugh...I like this one..undrafted guy....already been cut by one team He a big bodied 300 poud gap eating interior guy...who is strong as heck,,,over 30 reps I believe in the bench....but he also athletic and has really good technique....and been well coached in hand work...so not just a bullrush type guy....could see him sooner than later too,

I hope Stan is back, and Paddy get's healthy, Lawler is just starting to get in a groove, I believe Whitehead has more to offer, I was pleased to see him utilized a bit in the run game, Zach and Wilson are building chemistry...but we are into the final 3rd....it's hard to still be "developing"....I hope we can get over the hump on offence, we have a lot of talent and a lot of money tied into it, thus far we are not getting a solid return on investment...... I won't profess to have the answers as many smarter people than me are behind closed doors trying to figure it out...but Buck, Zach, Lawler, Demski, Brady all didn't just "lose it" .....the two things I see are Baily and Hardrick, were two fiery guys, maybe we are missing those intangibles more than we realized we would......that coupled with Zach taking more hits and pressures than he has before and the general O-line feistiness we had has toned down.... At any rate, final third, we will be rested, we have some momentum, let's all hope we get this offence to stop misfiring for the final push for first place in the West....... Any team coming into PAS for a home playoff game is in tough to win... with our crowd, our weather....I don't envy any team trying to pull out a win here....so let's make it tough on someone!!!!!!!

In the amount of time you have before the line is on you if you can't accept it and make a play....really hard to learn. Like in a football season we spend hours and hours and hours on QB centre exchange in tons of drills that don't have a live D. At any type of competitive level you couldn't just be like "damn this guy is athletic, let's play him at QB on Friday" if the guy has zero experience with it.

Emory Jones is an interesting one. He actually played for ASU and the Florida Gators before ending up at Cincinnati. He was a training camp cut by the Ravens this season. I'd be pretty surprised if he gets another NFL shot so we could be seeing him here sooner rather than later.

Turned on the 4th quarter of the Banjo Bowl... This was so much better without Neilsen and Suitor. How do these two still have jobs? What a disaster they are. Suitor openly cheering for the Riders and making up phantom penalties. Neilsen seems to think he can talk players into having good games.

Ottawa has had a ridiculous run of QB injuries. They'd be nuts to trade away a proven QB1A guy like Masoli while they're positioned to host a home playoff game. You don't want to roll out Crum as your QB in a game that could turn around your franchise's fortunes. I think that Booch has me convinced that our best option is to go after Heavy Balls and make him Heavy Blue Balls.

I'd be in Corny's ear in 2022 on a crap crap team and environment he threw for almost 2800 yards with 11 TD's and 9 picks....ran for 500 more with 7 td's Plus he has history with Lawler and Lawler made some crazy sick catches with Corny tossing the ball out to him....That be my target Plus he only 28....and really many a player has looked significantly better in a new environment...We have seen the Prukopps...Pipkins...Bananaboy....all still look like garbage in multiple places

Saskatchewan traded Collaros to Toronto in 19, and the riders won the west that year. In 22 the als finished 2nd in the east and traded Vernon Adams jr to bc, who was also a play off team. That’s just off the top of my head. Was Arbuckle traded mid season once? Edmonton traded us Matt Nichols mid season, I believe we traded away Willy mid season too. In the cfl you take trade value when you can get it.

Point <----- -----> you. The point is they don't need to play Jake Thomas and Schmekle all the god damned time to play patty cake with the OL and keep impactful guys like Adams on the PR because they have Ford and kramdi on D already.

Brady's taken a number of direct snaps this year... every time the QB starts wandering off to the left side of the line, there has been a direct snap to Brady who then runs up the gut... they did it on Saturday on a short yardage play.

The thing that bugs me is how he makes up excuses for why they are losing while the game is going on.

for me, it's not so much about taking shots and opening it up... it just feels like there is no creativity or variation to our offense... run up the gut, throw a screen, and the occasional down field pass seems to be like 90% of the offense... I want to see the O take what they're given and adjust to expose the weaknesses of other Ds... sometimes the plays feel predictable to fans on TV or in the stands... nevermind to the opposing D

Masoli is the only one who Id really have confidence in. I doubt Crum will be let go, Masoli is older, but still could slide in and still give us a passing game if Zach goes down.

9 tds, 13 ints and just over 200 yards passing a game is not quite well.

How difficult is it to learn to take a snap? This is an honest question. Like, BO has probably never or rarely taken a direct snap, nor has he read the defense from directly behind centre, so how quickly could he pick it up if we lined him up there?

I think anyone they bring in now (unless via trade) will almost certainly be behind Wilson on the depth chart. I'd rather let Brady do it honestly. No need to get a QB in there at all. Brady and Johnny in the back field.

Disappointed with the running options used this year but it could be with 3 new O-lineman and a few new receivers the team as a whole is not up to snuff on more complex blocking schemes yet.

For all we know Corny has moved on from football at this point... The two they are bringing in seem to be the most logical...

We need to let Wilson grow into the short yardage package as at best Strev won't be available until July if not later We need to acquire a guy for #2 that has starter experience/reps and knows the league by any means possible...that's rhe only option really And in my opinion it is Corny if we can't get Masoli or Shiltz

It felt like someone like Houston last year was getting picks because teams felt safe passing to his side.

Masoli is absolutely who is be curious about. He and Collaros go way back. Might cost a bit but I wonder if the extra second rounder from next year would move the needle... A first is only for a starter, not a back up. It's a 2nd rounder at most.

The lateral impact on his knee and the exten tto which it deformed under the impact was horrific to watch, let alone experience firsthand. Despite the picture clearly showing the tackler's hands around Strever's knee and below, the gappers are still defending the hit. Sad to say, this may be it for Streveler's career in pro football. I lived with chronic knee pain for 4 years before my knee replacement and all kinds of bad things happen under those conditions. If the league does nothing, it will be just a matter of time before it happens again to another QB, receiver or RB.
