Just a reminder that the Riders only scored 8 points in the first half of the Labour Day game and 9 in the first half of the Banjo Bowl. The Bombers exerted their will on the Riders from the beginning of the game.

To Hamilton to play in the Grey Cup on the 12th, obviously.

The last two games of the year left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope they come out on Sunday and set the tone right away. Don't let that Saskatchewan team off the mat. Play smart physical football on both sides of the ball - punch them in the mouth (over and over again). Let them know they have no business being in the same building with us.

Good news everyone! Our defense specialises in beating down teams. Not just beating them, but physically dominating. Put together a 10 play drive against the Bombers defence and get the ice bags out because you earned every single yard you got the hard way. It's why the bombers 4th quarter numbers are so ridiculous this year. They exact such a toll on the opposing offence they can't last a full game against them. The riders are a pretend tough team, the Bombers are the toughest team in the league. Every single man on that defense will whip your ass on the field.

that's 100% my focus. We need to break down the walls....especially men. Not to drive this thread too far off the rails, but my lowest point resulted in suicidal thoughts so clear that I ended up in the psych ward of a hospital for a week. They got my meds and my mind straighter and I've been on a much better path for about a year and a half now. If I don't learn from that, and use it to help others, than it's all a complete waste. The big difference between us and them is that our players hold themselves to the highest standard, and so does our organization. When a player slips up, like Lawler did, we lower the boom and show them the behavior is unacceptable. In Regina guys refuse pee tests, are rude to CFL officials and Earl's waitresses, and just generally act like asshats on and off the field while their HC plays 3 blind mice at the whole thing. They will never build a winning culture without accountability to themselves, their team mates, and the community. To be a winner you have to act like a winner in everything you do. There is nothing about their culture and the way they behave on and off the field that says winner to me. Is Purifoy's actions suspension worthy...I'm not sure...but man if I was a Rider fan I would sure be worried about the lack of discipline and class that permeates through that locker room. It just reeks of poor leadership, coaching, and accountability at the organizational level.

I got no problem with Micah Johnson (as a player)... but I wouldn't trade Stove for any DT in the league, straight up, right now... the guy is a difference maker

Just a reminder that the Riders led by 2 at the half of the Labour Day game and trailed by only 3 at the half of the Banjo Bowl. Bombers started to exert their will in the third quarter of each game and pulled away in the 4th both times. We should not be alarmed if the game is tight after 30 minutes, Bombers have been a second half/4th quarter team all year.

My guess is with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Stove Richardson is a better DT than Micah Johnson at this point and time. It's not even debatable. Micah is a very good DT, not taking anything away from him, but Stove is a beast that draws as many or more double teams than Micah. Difference is he still manhandles them. Stats are for losers. The eye test is what matters and our DL is by far the best in the league at generating pressure, while shutting down the run, and containing opposing QBs. It's not just one thing with our DL....they are not one trick ponies. I guess that every team we've faced, including the Riders, saying we have the most dominant DL in the league falls on deaf ears in the big rectangle.

A loss in the West Final would be a shame after a great season. A loss to the Riders specifically would **** me up for weeks. I hate that team. Dollop of Jesus. **** me sideways.

Stats dont tell the picture, he is the focus of the other teams blocking schemes where the winnipeg guys are not with Jefferson and Jeffcoat. The riders have the one and two sack leaders in the CFL in Woodward and Leonard with a lot of that because the inside pressure that the riders get from guys like johnson, marino, and Lanier. We cant compare stats when it fits our narratives for all stars and then as soon as it doesn't we just say "well stats dont tell the whole picture".

I have had a positive covid test. Being double-vaxxed I had just mild symptoms, but they fit the description, so I got tested. It started on Friday & I am 80% better already. It literally felt like I couldn't get enough air, on Saturday night. If that had gotten worse or persisted, it would have been a miserable experience. Now I'm just going to go crazy, sitting at home until next Monday. If there are any fence - sitters here...get VAXXED.
