Should be thankful that there are enough Bomber fans around to be able to support two sites. Not every CFL city has that support. People having options of what they prefer is never a bad thing.

  3. 1. Before putting Nichols in, MOS was absolutely on the hot seat. You can have faith in a person, but at a certain point, a change would have had to have been made. Thankfully, we never got to that point. 2. Everyone here believes we have the best roster in the league (at least, over the past 3-4 seasons). That does not mean every decision that has been made is the right one. Criticism is allowed and, at times, justified. No coach is perfect and MOS’ game day roster decisions happen to be his weak spot.

  7. Dudes has had 12 targets in 3 games...and for whatever reason he get pulled out a lot in the red zone plays....which also seems counter productive with a guy that possess' that size..has caught 9 of 12...drew a few penalties....not like he trash...if he was cut loose he's be signed prob fast as Castillo was signed by us Thing is too...he is real good on teams...one of his positives in the NFL yet we dont use him there...Actually has several punt blocks in his career too....I have talked with the Cards strength and condition coach and he raved about him....his work ethic and his aggresiveness...especially on teams...we jut not utilizing him right...and he is basically option 4 anyway...so what u expect

  8. "To be fair", Zach's ball placement has not always been great for Agudosi to take advantage of, when passing to the tall guy in the corner, the ball should never be underthrown.

  10. Plus he has taken some shots early on. Including that super douchebaggy dirty as hell late hit at the start of the BC game. Probably needs a break so he doesn't break entirely.

    18. Winnipeg Jets -- Colby Barlow, LW, Owen Sound (OHL) NHL Central Scouting ranking: No. 12 (North American skaters) Barlow (6-0, 195) can beat defenders with his speed or strength in shielding them off 1-on-1 in tight quarters. He also can handle physical play along the boards and could develop into a top-nine forward at the NHL level. The 18-year-old led Owen Sound with 79 points (46 goals, 33 assists), 13 power-play goals and 12 game-winning goals in 59 games as captain and received the Bobby Smith Trophy, awarded to the Ontario Hockey League's scholastic player of the year. Barlow also led Owen Sound with three goals on nine shots in four OHL playoff games.

  19. You bring guys in because they have talent, Up to them to kick the door in. The plan is to play a CDN there, but if you bring in an IMP to compete it is because there might be a sliver of a chance that he seizes the opportunity or maybe finds a different way to stick around.

  20. Are we really going to rag on Agudosi in his first handful of starts? Guy has made some big plays for us. If he is out this week, it likely isn't performance related. We gameplan differently for each team we face and maybe the coaches see something that makes them believe McCrae might be the better option this week. The guy is on a 700 yard pace as essentially a rookie playing our 5th receiver spot.

A lot of us have been there for nearly 20 years. If it goes back up, that’s where we’ll be. I’d personally advocate for more spaces to talk Bombers and CFL, not less.

  32. I was talking to a friend yesterday who said that he was sitting at a cafe in Vancouver and suddenly he sees Joni Mitchell walking into an art store next door. He didn't want to bug her but he's a massive fan so decided to go ahead and at least tell her how much she meant to him, and he said she was just so nice and amazing, and he was literally shaking afterwards because it was like a brush with greatness and such a positive experience that just happened right out of the blue! He got a pic with her too, and he sent it to me, and to be honest, I would never have recognized her. She came close to dying a few years ago, but glad that she's still with us. In the next 10 years we are probably going to lose pretty much every musician from that era, sad to think about.

  40. well for one...In regards to Salima nobody really needed a starting tailback...everyone had one who was established, and knows the league....so would make no sense cutting your starter for a promising rookie...he definately had the skills and tools...but here with us...we are committed to to a Canadian there....plus we had Mcrae...who in my opinion isn't an everydown back , and he has been here for 2..3 yrs now....so as per the way we roll here he gets the spot by default even tho he was in the tub,,.again....as he has had stints in that tub his whole time here....So thats why Salima hasn't been picked up...tho if Ottawa keeps sucking the high hard one with their run game I could see him surfacing there as they seem to like grabbing our scraps yes...and no...the media was clamoring for it as well, and lots of other so-called pundants around the league figured he was getting the axe too...so wasn't just a message board...and if u recall, his first few yrs he made some glaring mistakes, but we hung in and paid off...I for one was not calling for his head then....but did ***** about some of his bad moves....learning on the job is always the best way

  41. at the pro level, if you cant play any form of press or man....how the heck are you a pro??...I think it more of scheme right now, and maybe with all the changes and some rookies, Hall is playing the "don't give up the big one" thing until we get things all settled...we have seemed to done this same thing...and we all had same discussions in early parts of previous seasons as well....so I think it's just that....or hope to hell it is, because if they feel we don't have the horses to play anything but...better get some new horses cause thats plain pathetic at this level

  43. Agadosi and Mc Crae are very differently built receivers, but I like the versatility Mc Crae may be able to bring. It could be Mc Crae and that versatility are a better fit for what the coaches see against Mtrl? I also hope Lawson and Jeffcoat can spell in, Even if Jeffcoat only gets worked in slowly and only takes a handfull of snaps. The guy can't stay healthy but for a handfull of plays a game he can make a difference. He is like a NHRA drag car motor, you only get a few passes before they need a rebuild, but damn that pass they do is high level stuff

    The Trade Thread

But why on Earth would the Jets pay $8 million dollars of Dubois salary? That does not make any sense whatsoever. He signed only as part of a sign and trade. That contract was negotiated with the Kings, not the Jets. Jets don't care what he's getting paid. So, effectively, he did not extend with the Jets, it was just a paper process so he could get 8 years. There has been no suggestions anywhere I have seen that have the Jets retaining anything, never mind $8 million(!!!).
