Getting to the QB would be a bonus but really anyone that can disrupt and eat up roll outs and escape lanes for the QB would be welcome...consistently of course. Getting that OT to back pedal would let Ceresna and Willie eat. Getting that true edge pass rush we haven't had since Jeffcoat would be huge. Wearing down the opposing LT is also something we have failed to consistently do and that pays huge dividends when we do roll in an undersized but quick DE

He's not going to have huge route tree, as I doubt we utilize him as full time receiver. He's going to be the guy that takes a guy out of the tackle box on SY because if teams cheat we will send him on a simple pass and catch route for easy yards

The thing is that on the eve of camp, MOS doesn't really know what he's got. Guys haven't even reported for physicals yet, except for rookies and a select few others. Every year some guys come in as a tire fire and you have to pivot, Tui, for example, was that guy a couple years ago who came to camp and needed some conditioning to put it politely. If he does that this year, does that alter our plan to start the season? Probably. Motivation is another. What kind of work ethic did a guy come in with...is he half arsing? We've also had too much of that over several training camps with a blind eye turned. I am hoping that MOS see that as something that must stop.
I agree that Doug would provide better questions, but I don't think MOS changes his interview style. He throws out cliches so that you have your sound bite, but he's never going to tell the media anything about any of his players good or bad.

Agreed, and there are a couple real intriguing options that hopefully play up to their promise/pedigree.

Are you wanting him to share what his thoughts are on the team, before day 1 of rookie camp ends?

I kind of want a Canadian to line up who gets pushed back , is slow to the QB, and who can eventually join our coaching staff!

I would take all or any of those trade offs with a big smile on my face. I would even take prime WIllie in a tie with prime Hunt.

Perhaps, and that is the case with a lot of guys who go the Junior football route instead of USports and that certainly is no knock on any of them, as a university education isn't what it used to be.

Loving this addition more and more. He seems like a hungry player. I like hungry players....especially when they are 6'6" 270 and meaner than a junkyard dog.
