  1. Totally off topic but I feel the need to share this because I've been drinking heavily. For those of you who don't know me, I've been a die hard bomber fan since I was 10 years old. My family used to sell mini donuts at canads. At 13 I was posting on ourbombers pretending to know wtf I was talking about lol In grade school and into high-school my friends ****** with me all the time and cheered against the bombers just to see me get pissed off. I'm 29 now. My friends are die hards of the leafs and oilers. I told them today; **** you, the bombers are nearly a dynasty and I hope the leafs and oilers don't win a cup until the year after they die. It was awesome.I meant it. Go bombers Oh and the riders are ******. That makes me happy too

  2. People seem to like him, including opposition fans. He draws interest from the social media crowd and is generally pretty respectful. I don't really see a problem.

  4. the LOL'ks are better than people think, and the Riders (we really need something funny as a nn for them...) are worse than even we realize. I could absolutely see Edmonton passing them to take the crossover and Sask missing playoffs.

  5. Bad for the league in terms of making the Lions a more dangerous team. He's talking on the field as well as wins & losses. What else do you think SDN was referring to? Good Lord. Everybody but you knows exactly what SDN meant.

  6. O’Shea doesn’t strut. He walks quietly, speaks softly, and carries a Bighill.

  7. Depends on the outcome of the game going into the bye week... Win: A loss:

  8. On the coach’s show (last week?) O’Shea was praising one of his players (did not catch the name, but I got the vibe it was a plug-in back-up and not one of the stars) saying he loved the player’s energy and that if he bought a jersey that’s a player whose name he would want on it. Someone texting in said that they wanted an O’Shea jersey, and he said “oh God, don’t waste your money on that. That would be a terrible idea”.

  13. They guy put his money down and he's allowed to support his team, he should. He does it more publicly than most but someone has to do something in these markets to get people talking about their team. Goes to the traditional theory of "There is no such thing as bad publicity."

  14. Just need to go 1-0, this week.....

  15. In all fairness as good as Harris was in BC he was even better in Winnipeg. 4 out of his best 5 years were with Winnipeg.

  17. #66 better be retired after the GOAT decides to walk away. If anyone cuts him, I'll have to burn IGF down...sorry just the rules....I don't make em. Seriously though, he is realistically in the top 3 for all time bombers? He was the 1st big signing from the mafia. Came here to build a legacy...there have been other great players. But not a single one of them were part of a run like Stanley's. Not only personal accomplishments...but team and organization too. Truly a GOAT among GOATs

  18. Bryant is having an all star season, maybe even most outstanding lineman caliber season. If we Wally him after this season we are idiots. I am sure that Walters is acutely aware that Stan is getting up there and will have his replacement ready to go when he is done but anyone suggesting that this is an urgent matter based solely because of his age is out to lunch. Unless Stan tells us he's hanging them up, there is NO reason to believe that he can't continue to be outstanding beyond this year and that we should be looking for his replacement urgently.

The eye roll option gets created and the Collaros thread gets resurrected a week later. Coincidence? I think not! Now if you’ll excuse me I have about 30 pages of a two year old thread to add emojis to, lol.

  24. Yeah Montreal needs to play a compete game..all phases...error free...and the most disciplined game of the year...and have us make tons of mistakes...have a parade of penalties and drop a total stinker of a performance to have a chance....can't see that all occuring....and I see headed home for Aug 11 game shooting for 10-0 with close to a sellout...

  25. Good for Burnham. Bad for the league. He makes the Lions even better.

  26. Any given Sunday and all, but that was a totally different team. No more Masoli to bail out Evans, Acklin gone, Banks gone, Ja'Gared Davis gone, etc. Theyve regressed big time.

  27. yeah...I like what he's doing and keeping his team in the spotlight..even if he gets it wrong...dude is trying and kudos to that....and it's okay when he is wrong again.,..there's no shame in losing to the Bombers....everyone has been doing it in games that matter since late 2019....

  28. Dont look now but Brady Oliveira is only 120 rushing yards away from the league lead....

  29. Funny thing is the Riders may have the second best shot at getting to the Grey Cup right now. The East is yet again a dumpster fire, so the crossover is probable. Saskatchewan only has to be better than Edmonton to get in, and Chris Jones is too busy building an entire new roster each week to worry about a consistent game plan. Once in the playoffs, wouldn’t shock me to see them pull off a couple of wins given the eastern competition. A much easier road than going through BC/Cal and then Winnipeg. Then they waltz in to a home Grey Cup game where once again they meet the Bombers for another historic first at IG Field West: First pre-season game ever: Winnipeg ties Sask First regular season game ever: Winnipeg wins over Sask First playoff game ever: Winnipeg wins over Sask First West Final ever: Winnipeg wins over Sask First NHL game ever: Winnipeg wins (over Calgary, since Sask has no team) First Grey Cup game ever: Bomber Three-peat! Even if it meant having to put up with two Rider playoff victories, this would be glorious

  32. Richmond will prob get every opp to win the LT spot when big Stan hangs em up....Hardrick gonna stay put...That being said we may have another guy we looking at as well who isn't in system yet, and trying his luck down south....or, like others said...when time comes we dip in free agency and go after the best LT available

  33. Given we have 3 american OL on the practice squad (and Richmond on the 6 game), I think that's exactly what we are trying to do. Of course, nobody is going to be big Stan. But it appears the team knows that Bryant isn't going to play forever.

  35. As for my own thoughts, I was apparently on one of my message board extended absences that I tend to go on every so often but I recall having a very ho-hum reaction to the trade at the time. I felt that Strevvy as a full time starter in the 2019 stretch run would have been a disaster due to his limitations throwing the ball. That said, you're "obviously" not going to get a miracle worker (though little did we know we did) in a trade so I remember thinking to myself that given playbooks take time to learn and with Lapo at OC the offence would be vanilla at best. I remember not having any hope whatsoever during that Calgary semi final game and pretty much enjoyed the ride from that point on. Happy to be wrong about my expectations of the trade, like so many were looking back at the posts, and I look forward to the day when ZC is in the Blue Bomber and CFL Halls of Fame.

Lol . On his way to being the only healthy qb you mean. De! Fault! But I guess when your franchise has nothing else to cheer for the soaring heights of mediocrity seem exceptional.

  40. I think I'm around 20 all told, mostly Ebay purchases. I'm always in the hunt for older ones. My white whale is a Dunigan jersey circa 1993. My pride is a Walby circa 1990... Raven-made. I don't own any jerseys of a player from the The Trinity regime. My wife has a Bighill, and I really want to add a Harris or Nichols at some point. There's just so many players from this championship core that are "worthy" of buying their jersey....

  42. O’Shea will always publicly say they did enough to win. Honestly the different phases showing up to win in different ways is huge character building and valuable situational experience. Give me the team that knows how to roll when the going gets tough every time. If it was Madden football every week, I can see a team being psychologically weak at the first bump in the road.

  45. My first knee jerk reaction was negative. The interview in the pre season when he was with ssk on his health status and continuing to play was scary. But really when you’re looking at mbt Franklin or collaros or talking about trying to get kg out of retirement atleast collaros had a pulse and experience with success. the point when I knew we really found some thing special was the crazy scramble td pass to darvin adams.

I'm not quite as old as some (turning 38) but I'm sure what Zach has done in only 2.5 seasons so far has to rank him damn near the top of all time Bomber great QBs. No QB in our history has gone on the run he has (major major part played by coaching/scouting) and not many QBs in CFL history has done what he has. Zach has turned into the just Medlock of qb,always confident something positive will happen when Zach is on the field. Were seeing history and I'm glad it'll be a story I can relay to CFL fans down the road of having witnessed it first hand.
