  1. If you gamble on games, especially one that you played in, it should be a lifetime ban. Lemon is getting just punishment.

  2. I resent some of you calling me old. It may be true but I resent it. Can't recall when I joined OB but it has to be 2004 so like 5 years ago.

  5. Here's what I noted on day 1: Bryant-Dobson-Kolankowski-Eli/Wallace(for Neufeld)-Lofton Lawler-Schoen-Murphy(for Demski)-Alston-Wolitarsky Augustine (for Oliveira) Collaros Jefferson-Thomas-Fox-Haba Wilson-Bighill Parker-Nichols-Nick Hallett (for BA)-Holm-Ford-Kramdi Tyrique McGhee appears right in the mix as well. And it felt like a lot of Lawson with Thomas in the early portion.

  18. One other thing I will say is how proud I am to have Osh as our coach. In each of these incidents he has come out with statements that are on the right side and wasn't afraid to be critical of the CFLPA or the Argos/CFL interpretation of the CBA.

  21. Osh 4 wins away from 100. Pretty impressive. Only grant has more and believe it’s 102 wins. Quietly O’Shea is becoming the goat of bomber coaches.

  24. Really don’t get the Kramdi hate. He’s solid. Always around the ball. Does his job well. You need the reliable guys just as much as you need the flashy guys, they set the flashy guys up to make those big plays.

  25. The guardian design will be replaced. Something more aerodynamic to allow for quicker acceleration, sensor rings to collapse during contact, and advantage to defenders during a field goal and punts. This French prototype could be popular.

  26. If someone thinks that we could get rid of the Canadian ratio, employ mostly all Americans trying to get into the NFL, and not adopt NFL rules is more than a bit delusional. Get rid of the radio and the CFL is over.

  27. You know, if some American doesn't want to come to Canada to try out for a job in the CANADIAN football league, I'm just fine with that.

  28. Mos made a great comment in the presser yesterday. He said that they all really value both CMI and Clercius going into their last ncaa season knowing they weren't going to get the reps that they wanted, but sticking it out with their teams any way and finding new roles to support their teams. Its some thing you dont see in the transfer portal era. Guys hit it and quit it soo fast now. I mean we have lots of guys who transferred multiple times on the roster. It takes a special mind set for guys like that, especially soo talented and athletic to choose loyalty to their program even if their program doesn't choose it to them. Really makes me think both those guys are gonna overachieve here.

  29. Back to Training Camp discussion. Man, you get the impression Michael Chris-Ike is going to be a factor (no, not the jabari arthur factor) on this team. I am not usually one to pay attention to the combine results but for a guy that is 6'1" 225 to be the top in the cone and shuttle is impressive. Combine that with having a bunch of special teams tape; describes himself as aggressive on teams; it really sounds like he is exactly what we need. You could also see O'Shea beaming (the classic O'Shea beam) when talking about him.

  31. This is a great article.... good to hear that Haba seems ready to take over Jackson's role... but I'm excited about Garbutt and Rivers too... having a three man rotation of Willie, Haba, and Rivers/Garbutt will hopefully cause a lot of havoc for opposing QBs

  35. One person who is extremely conflicted in this current situation says he was fined but offers no context or substance with it (like "I was fined in 2012 for complaining about the schedule") and there's no record of the fine easily found online. Why are you so far up Barker's butt?

  36. I just want to take a moment to recognize that, for the most part, we're doing a really good job of keeping this discussion civil and on point. Thank you all for that.

  37. I find it very interesting, because lots of people get caught up in our roster management (myself included) but not many people seemed to notice that Kramdi was very much a rotational guy and was subbed out a lot last year. They seem to have a pretty good plan for him and his usage and I’m happy to let them keep rolling with it. He didn’t get handed a job last year, he stole it from a trusted veteran American and he only got better as the year went on.

  39. What the hell does that say about their organization.....no credibility ...So watching him play and if he's on the Als game day roster, you have to wonder if the fix is in...Just a bullShit call by the cflpa.....

  40. I don’t even see a problem with wavering if more information becomes available. For example, early 2022, I still thought we for sure needed an American running back. Brady’s play totally took a 180 and I was glad to change my opinion. Something like: Having no interior DL who could push the pocket and 2 gassed out DEs cost us the last 2 Grey cups. That’s a hill I’ll die on.

  41. Im very concerned about Bighill going into the season. He looked absolutely done at times last season with zero speed and missed tackles all over the field. And with Clements gone and Cole shifting to a different position the Bombers have shockingly shown zero interest in bringing in anyone else with CFL experience to even spell him during the season, let alone grooming someone to be his replacement(which will need to happen in the very very near future). This could be a major issue this season.

  43. I've been trying to figure out the snaps where it looks like Kramdi is playing safety. I think it's actually Nichols who they're moving to safety. It's during the skeleton period so it's very tough to tell. The reps in question come when put Tyrique McGhee in at the boundary corner and move Parker into half.

  44. Give the whole quote: “Pinball, you said yesterday ‘We will give Chad Kelly all the support he needs.’ What are you doing to support your female staff that now have to face coming to work every day with a predator in the building? Have you even spoken to them about your decision to allow this? As I and many female staff members across the league have communicated to Randy Ambrosie, the handling of this extremely serious situation has been a complete and utter failure from top to bottom. You promised to go above and beyond the league recommendations. Yet at the first opportunity to do so, you did the complete opposite. You have only managed to downplay a serious situation and make women across the league feel unvalued, disrespected and unsupported. Do better.” This is directed at Pinball and also .. your privilege is showing just a bit.
