It’s crazy to think a singular move can change history so much. Wentz at one time was a very good QB, they tried to recapture some of it and the experiment failed. If you specifically bring in a guy to take over that starts the clock. As a coach or GM, if you draft a QB in the first round that puts 3 years on your clock because the impression is that you need to give the team time to grow.
