  2. These are good times my friends, soak it up! Back to back champs and players wanting to come back. Not just good players, elite all-star type players who dont want to be anywhere else. Some willing to take pay cuts just to stay here. Far cry from the days where we couldnt get anybody to come here, even while offering more money! Fun times to be a Bomber fan! LETS GO BLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!

f’ing Pelosi arguing house and senate members should be allowed to trade because we live in a free market. You can spin it all you want but it doesn’t take any high level of intellectual prowess to know the extreme unfair advantage they have. What was that term again? INSIDER KNOWLEDGE! Gee I wonder why politicians are seen in a bad light.

  8. It's great to finally see us signing back some of the cornerstones that lead us to two straight Grey Cups. One thing I was trying to do was find a consolidated list of who we have signed for next season's camp that would update as new signings came in. I'm obviously following our new signings as they happen but I'm not 100% sure on which players have contracts that didn't expire for 2022. I had read that we had just one of these on offence (Demski) but I'm not sure about defence. Since I couldn't find one I thought I would do a very simplistic version right here that we could potentially update as players get signed. Something like this: Blue Bombers under contract for 2022 camp/season: Offence: QB - RB - REC - Demski*, Blake Jackson O-Line - Hardrick FB/TE - Defence: D-Line - Thomas*, Jefferson, Jeffcoat LB - DB/S - Special Teams Kicker - Punter - Other - * Denotes non-import This is probably not a complete list and I was hoping people could fill in the blanks on who I am missing. Either that or post a link to somewhere that has the info already. Thanks!

  13. Absolutely,he's 33,a 2 year contract is what I'm thinking. He's still playing at the highest level,it'll be retirement after the Bombers.

  15. This afternoon the analyst on the FCS division 1 football Championship game mentions…”the first time I ever saw a cup snake was at Winnipeg -home of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers”. The mention was because the NDSU fans were building a beer snake as the team had just scored their fifth TD to take the lead 35 - 0 over Montana State. Don’t know the analyst and can’t find his name.

  18. Great stuff getting the core squad back together. What free agent might be inclined to join? Lucky #7! THAT would help the O be even more dynamic! Wishful thinking but man o man.

  19. The Riders had 3 of the 10 highest paid DBs on their roster for 2021. The Bombers had no one on the list.

  25. More teams need to do what the Bombers did a few years ago. Start 3 Americans on the OL and slot in Canadians elsewhere. Protecting the QB is #1.

  26. I don't if people really understand how much of big deal it is that the Bombers brought the cup down to Texas for Willie and Jackson. In my time I have never remember players outside Canada getting some time with the cup.

  35. And lots of bad drops....Schaefer Baker is their better Canadian reciever...Lenius is only getting a shot on how he looks...he's not overly fast either . Funny part now he was released he can sign back anywhere in cfl as well upon being cut as well ..so no guarantee he will go back there

  36. That is crazy but thanks to the Riders may be driving the qb market. At the same time, I just can't see Zach going anywhere else. We were the only team that gave him a chance when everyone else had given up.

True. The US justice system is and always has been all about money. If you dont have it off to jail you go. If you do , your sins are forgiven. It's rather ironic that the country that jails more people than any other has a whole segment of their population that are immune.to punishment. Edit: I just watched " Just Mercy " and a couple of Chris Hedges talks on their prison system so I readily admit to having a pretty biased opinion right now.

Texas team applauded for giving what Big Pharma refuses: A patent-free vaccine to the world A small team of Texas researchers is being hailed for developing an unpatented Covid-19 vaccine to share with the world without personal profit, with some advocates asking, if they can do it, why can't Big Pharma? Dubbed "the World's Covid vaccine," the inoculation—formally called Cobervax—is an open-source alternative to Big Pharma's patent-protected vaccines. Instead of being produced for profit, this shot could ultimately be manufactured around the world and made cheaply available to all without governmental or private legal retribution. Common Dreams reported this week that Cobervax—developed jointly by Texas Children's Hospital, Houston's Baylor College, and the Indian pharmaceutical company Biological E. Limited—was authorized for emergency use in India amid a surge in infections driven by the highly contagious Omicron variant. Texas Children's Hospital says the new vaccine is at least 90% effective against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and 80% or more effective against its Delta variant. "We're not trying to make money," Peter Hotez, who led the Texas Children's Hospital team, told The Washington Post. "We just want to see people get vaccinated."
