I liked that Oliviera for all the personal accomplishments last night was most excited on the play when he took the Lions MLB head up to create the space for Prukop to run for 20 yards.

Another thing: Receivers are outright scared of Brandon Alexander. Just his presence puts the fear of God into players and causes drops.

Bombers defense came into tonight with bad intentions they looked like the 2021 D.

BC was awfully proud of themselves after last week, totally different body language tonight. Tonight the Bombers sent a message and that message was "you sure you want to come back here in a couple weeks?" They have no answer for Collaros, the OL was bullying them, Oliveira was not stopped, the dbs got back to laying the wood on receivers, DL pressured qbs. special teams tightened up. That was the Bombers team we know.

Yeah, Farhan in the ski gloves made me chuckle last night. ******* BC people.... Jesse's crying about how we all need to be more excited for Rourke's impact on the league makes me want to re-post a thought I had earlier in the season as to why I'm most "meh" about Rourke: They talk about Rourke accomplishing all he has this season "as a Canadian", as if being born in Canada somehow makes it special. It's not nationality that makes successful Canadian QBs special....it's where you played your formative years. Rourke went down to the US early, played prep school ball down there and then through the NCAA. He is no different than any US QB that has come up here...he just happens to have been born in Canada. If you want to get excited about a "Canadian QB", then it's Tre Ford you should be excited about....born, raised, trained and CIS all the way. If HE can be successful up here, then THAT'S a story. But Rourke is just another American with the right birth certificate......no different than Cahoon or Woogie or whoever. That's why I am sick of hearing about Rourke...

Like how on the post game Brady mentioned how he's proud but its not his 1000 yards, its his and the OL. iE Our 1000 yards.

1. Tyrell Ford - tight coverage, great knockdowns, sure tackling, and punishing hits. Set the tone for the whole secondary from play one. 2. Schoen - just gets open and scores. Best rookie season in Winnipeg since Selanne in 1993. 3. The running quartet of Brady (1,000 yards!), Johnny (just a pro who does his role, bides his time, and performs hard when asked), Mike Miller (first career offensive TD) and Dakota Prukop (makes things happen with his legs and put together the drive of the game). Crunch - lots of candidates but given how well the punt coverage was tonight, got to give a shout out to Nick Hallett for a couple of beauty clean submarine tackles stopping runners in their tracks. HH - @O2L for his dedication following the game from a plane, and @wbbfan for some great PBP especially, describing the defensive dominance.
