Bombers 4 points out of first.

It's entirely possible that we are going to be right back in the hunt. BC likely without VA Against Hamilton at home. We seem to have trouble with eastern teams sometimes but we're at home. I like our chances Back-to-back against the Riders when they are down trending. I won't pretend like we will win Labour day. That is a tough one. But I think it's better that we are playing our best defensively in that game. And it seems we are. 4 games that are very winnable. Critical games to win the season series against BC and Sask. I'm excited.

And he will coast less now that he's getting more support. 3 weeks ago, you couldn't fault the guy for taking some plays off.

If the guys don’t fumble away the game in Toronto we on a streak. The D has played lights out the last 2 games. Our O should be able to put up 20 points. Even with the fumbles, we could/should have won.

If any thing browns greatest attribute has been his toughness and ability to grow through adversity. Being fast at getting rid of the ball, and good escapability helps the ol a lot too. I have no doubt in my mind that brown would’ve been much better than zach for the first 6-7 games. To the point we probably have 2 more wins just with that change. Brown is going up, zach has no place to go but down. Aside from this year, which is on the verge of being a total loss, the upside for next year and going forward is gigantic. Especially when you consider he’s about 270k-300k cheaper per year. That’s picket + barlow and brown vs zach. That combination would make us much better than 2 more wins.

Anyone with any sort of attitude of superiority right now has either had too many rums, or is ignorant. Seen too much crap the last two years to feel any sort of comfort at this point. I am enjoying the season so far, but by no means do I feel any sort of overconfident. I do think they're still a good team, though.

I wouldn't discount WJ...second in sacks...first in QB pressures...I believe knock downs too...on a top defence

I don't think the next 2 are a split now...we have seemed.to really found a defensive rotation that's working now...If Randolph is real.deal at guard...Lawler back...Lucky now in mix...maybe ZC and Buck changing our offensive philosophy...I can't see Sask scoring more than us to win either those games....A win in BC after the bye...a convincing one I can actually see a real run coming up

Those are certainly a lot of positives that can lead to a second half resurgence and winning those back to back games is not out of the question. I also really like the offence now showing more ball control type of attack. With the real added threat of long explosion plays and a stingy defense that creates turnovers that could be a lethal combination.

Yeah...he will be a nice piece along with Lawler...I think he really trusts Clercius too which is good...and the fact now he will use BO like Harris was used for us on the dumps and check downs...is really gonna open stuff up in the intermediate and deeper areas...especially with Lucky lurking around underneath

Both Adams and Woods have shown they can push the line forward, and with Garbutt in WJ\s effectiveness has gone up quite a bit. The one thing that doesn't change with age is his wing span, which caused numerous problems for bc last game

I agree. I think we have shaken off whatever was ailing us earlier this season. Our D is reminiscent of 2019. Kenny Lawler will help that a lot.

Personally just my opinion. I think neufeld is done as a player. I think they 6 gamed him so they wouldn’t have to cut him. He was on the sidelines last game helping out. I’m not convinced he’s actually injured. I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes a coach like Miller did. He’s apprenticing

The Bombers played very well but I don't know if they've got the monkey off their back or not, there's been too much inconsistency this season to feel confident the patient has made a full recovery. Looking good but upcoming games against BC and Sask. will indicate whether they can become a contender again.

The wear and tear is far worse on screen passes than runs imo. Instead of dieseling behind a pile it’s two guys with a head of speed going at each other. they’ve been mixing in a 2 back set sparingly this year, but they never use the misdirection so it doesn’t create much. Especially with the health of our wrs a 2 back set, and more running with split touches is needed. I worry about the usage of Brady in general. We go long stretches where he isn’t carrying the ball then pound him into the dirt on a drive. More steady touches would be better. pretty widely accepted use of the term these days. It’s not considered a serious pejorative by any means.
