After listening to @DTonOB for a while now, I’d agree that he just doesn’t respect the running game/RB position. I love the guy, but it’s very clear he wants the game to be arcade passball all the time. The media obsession in general over Betts is super irritating too but I get it. Big market, Canadian with a French name. The CFL media forces character storylines. That being said, voting for him as MOC over Brady is inexcusable for someone who gets paid to analyze the games.

I wouldn't be concerned about your chances in general, as it is unlikely that one team can be so fortunate as to have two teams utterly meltdown to their benefit in back to back Championship games. But more specifically I wouldn't be bothered over the "not a cold weather QB" stuff. At least not for Sunday where it's basically going to be perfect weather.

And we have a far better OL that is now pissed off because Yoshi lost MOOL and Brady lost MOP. Good ******* luck, assholes.

Jeff Hecht getting the hook for BA, plus using Taylor and Maston completely transformed the back end… that said we still needed a qb with Nichols out and Strev on one leg. McGuire wasn’t taking us to the promised land by himself so Zach was also a vital ingredient to the cup run. It can be both.

This game just makes me miss prime Darvin Adams. I know he's too old now and Bailey has largely taken his blocking role, but dude was just nasty for other teams to deal with.

I just dislike this persistent sentiment that we just popped up out of nowhere in 2019. The Bombers were built over years. It wasn’t some out of the blue playoff run. I don’t see the comparison to the 2019 team.

Like everyone else I love and appreciate ZC8 but if I'm being honest my only 2 concerns for this game are Zach being off and Buck trying more fancy-pants nonsense with Prukop at a critical juncture. That play call inside the 5 in the 4th against BC just made me wince. I guess Castillo makes me a bit nervous of late, too. But then I remember the D and the opposing qb and I smile and sigh.

Toronto and Hamilton both had about 135-140 yards rushing on Montreal's D in their playoff games. I think Montreal's D can be ran on.

Betts was good at one thing and one thing only. And, he wasn't even good at that in the second half. In fact, the entire BC defense was horrible. If the Jeffcoat or Jefferson could be as irresponsible as Betts, they would get 20 sacks a season each. But, they're trying to win games, not personal trophies.

As I said in the other thread. It was obvious Kelly was getting MOP (even though I disagree) and Brady was getting Canadian. But there is one award that tops MOP in my mind and that’s Grey Cup MVP which Brady will win and Kelly can’t. And that’s motivation enough for Brady to take it.

I don’t think anyone should take much issue with the Riders getting two awards for activities off the football field. One is Lenius who goes to schools to promote mental health awareness, the other is Lauther who planned a large Rider event in Phoenix which raised $20,000 for KidSport. Really nothing to be outraged over.

I am going to put my credibility on the line with a couple of predictions: 1. Bombers will win 28-10 despite their offence not blowing the doors off Montreal's defence. Collaros will play well, but not at an all-star level due to a cautious game plan by Buck. 2. Fajardo will not only look bad, but I do not think he will finish the game. From the way he moves and throws, he looks like he is being held together by duct tape.

Bullshit. But not surprising. Like Harris being snubbed for moc all star etc then winning mop and moc in the gc. I hope Brady goes the deepest he’s ever gone into beast mode and makes the voters choke on it. I hope he puts up numbers that puts the legendary game by Fred Reid to shame.

Let's be fair here, Nichols didn't have the level of receivers to work with that Zach has now. We kept signing 32 year plus receivers whose better days were behind them. We were starting Daniel Peterman, we had a couple of rickety Rider receivers (Dressler & Smith) who were always hurt. Our OL was just finding itself. Neufeld was always hurt. The young studs on the OL Walters drafted were young & inexperienced. Nichols came in & made us competitive. I'm grateful Chris Jones let him go for a 7th rounder & a bag of footballs. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. That injury he suffered was really unfortunate.

I honestly kind of wish we were playing Toronto on Sunday now because we would murder them worse than Montreal did last weekend. Speaking of awards, when are Bomber fans going to win the Commisionner's Awards? Rider fans won the award back in 2010 however there is no denying that Winnipeg fans provide the Bombers the greatest homefield advantage in the league.

Best thing of the night was the CGY quip guys story he told about the dude weighing his junk....good to see him get acknowledged as well as he is a grwat guy and I have never heard a bad word about him

I hope Brady and the team use it as yet more motivation.
