No one is taking Harris out. He could offer more in short yardage and teams then Augustine though. And you don't need to be taking eithers spot to practise. Id like to see both start and demski be the rotational package guy playing out of the backfield as much as any thing. Line him up in a 2 back set then watch some one try to cover him deep from a back field assignment

The GDT isn't any better for overly dramatic histrionics when the team is losing (take a gander at the WSF thread and you'd swear the entire front office was going to be blown up at halftime - good for a laugh), but why pay more for chat when the GDT serves the exact same purpose. I would not miss it if it were gone, but I leave the decision to the site runners.

yeah, the chat isn't fun to use during games, whenever the Bombers suffer any minor reversal it's the ******* end of the world for some, which gets tiresome. If the chat had an ignore feature I'd use chat more. I tried to implement my own a few years back, but stalled out on it.

Certain people made it unbearable so I stopped caring to go chat.

I finally got a chance to see the movie and now scrolling through this thread. I won’t make any comments, but just something that went through my mind at the end. I was a kid when A New Hope came out, so I was part of the generation that grew up with it from the start. Back then I remember Lucas talking about how he had nine movies planned. Then, after ROTJ when Lucas said he was done with it, I always thought “OK, we got three movies out of it”, and didn’t think there would be anymore. Then in the late 90's he announced the prequel trilogy, and after those it seemed like that was it. And now we finally got nine movies. The whole series has its ups and downs, good and bad, would have been nice if it had been planned from start to finish to make it more coherent. But I sat there during the closing credits and thought “wow – I never thought I would actually see nine Star Wars movies". It took 42 years to get there. Regardless of the quality of the whole series, I’m so glad that I got to see the end one way or the other.

Being a severely biased homer is written into their contracts. No joke. Two people in the past 3 years have been fired by the Riders for making critical comments about the club. Carm and even the ultra-homer Rod Pederson both fell on their swords for mildly criticizing the club. Just unbelievable really that they don't allow the voice of their franchises to have a shred of integrity or dignity in their job execution. Taylor is basically told Riders best, Bombers worst...no matter what the reality is. Rod Pederson had a pretty frank discussion about this after being fired by the Riders. For the first several years he had to have weekly meetings with the Rider organization where he would be told what his talking points were and what he would say. Sounds like Russia almost.

Agreed. Been a graveyard for Bomber teams this past decade. One of my favourite moments of the game... 1:39 left on the clock and they cut to Richie Hall as he's packing up.... Suits "You're work's done, pack up the brief case.."
