  1. Sure. There's a good 30-45 minutes a day on the 680 CJOB Sports Show with Christian. Plus training camp hits in sports at 625, 725, 825, 925am and 325, 425 and 525 pm. And we'll have two hours pre-game Monday starting at 1:00pm. We've hit all those topics over the first 10 days. Since I've got some time sitting in Regina: 1) We've seen Shayne Gauthier + Kyrie Wilson / Kyrie + Brian Cole as the LB combos post-Bighill. John Petrishen + Tre Thomas has been another duo from the start. Anyone else isn't getting a ton of work. 2) Liam Dobson at left guard and Eric Lofton at right tackle every day so far. I think Ted Wyman was the first to touch on it on May 12. The only time it wasn't Dobson a LG was the last day because of injuries to Eli and injury/day off for Kolankowski. Dobson shifted to center for that one. 3) Michael Chris-Ike is slowly getting more action in a FB/TE roll after his late arrival. Gabe Wallace was getting first-team reps with the injuries to Neufeld and Eli. They are by far the closest to making an impact early in the season. Clercius is down around the 3rd group of receivers. Kalra is much closer than Vlahogiannis. And Leroux is 100% going back to school, so apart from 1 day where we talked about him, we'll catch up with him next year. Gassama and Hubert appear far down the pecking order. 4) 1st team has been Haba and Fox since day 1. 5) KJ Hill never seemed to get above the third group. And when he got hurt and wasn't going to recover in time, they released him. Had he appeared with the first team like a Ravi Alston, Ontaria Wilson or Myron Mitchell there would have been more talk about Hill. There were roughly 8 guys vying for return spots. They *might* be down to 4, but there are virtually no returns in camp. Without full-speed contact, they aren't worth much. Pre-season games are where we'll see who's who.

  2. The lack of coverage in training camp is truly so frustrating. The human interest stories are great fluff and I can’t blame Ed Tait because that’s what the club wants but come on … Bighill out to start the year and not a peep about any of the new linebackers. Two offensive line spots open and no clue who is out in front of the competiton. A full draft class and no idea how they’re slotting in yet. Is Haba/Fox starting just a closed case already? Does anyone want to talk about it? KJ Hill cut and as per the reporters, he was “a hyped rookie” but absolutely no mention of who may lock that spot down now. It gets worse every year. @DTonOB explain yourself

  3. If you gamble on games, especially one that you played in, it should be a lifetime ban. Lemon is getting just punishment.

  4. I resent some of you calling me old. It may be true but I resent it. Can't recall when I joined OB but it has to be 2004 so like 5 years ago.

Walking home from the gym right now and I pass by this dad and his son waving the blue and gold flag on the bridge by jubilee. I LOVE seeing the younger generation getting invested. And I love this city. Go bombers baby

  14. Booch, please consider this your notice that if you don’t start sending me these top secret reports, I will finally figure out how to ban someone after almost 11 years

  15. It is one of the stupidest points I’ve seen anyone try and make on this forum. I support the team with season tickets, I save my time off all year to be able to make as many games as possible, I buy merchandise, I travel to watch away games. I’m working non-stop at the moment because I’ve got my first kid on the way and my work is busy as hell right now, so forgive me for not prioritizing something that we have paid reporters for.

  20. One other thing I will say is how proud I am to have Osh as our coach. In each of these incidents he has come out with statements that are on the right side and wasn't afraid to be critical of the CFLPA or the Argos/CFL interpretation of the CBA.

from my early take on what just seen...We will be better at QB2....Dline....Linebacker....Oline will be strong as ever....Receivers the same....running attack better....I think our defensive philosophy will be a much more aggressive attackig one than what Hall liked....I feel good from what I saw even from a pared down vanilla package....we put the right guys on the fielD on defense we are gonna have so many options and looks...it could be scary Wilson as QB 3 may be a nice guy to develop here....Love his body type for QB up here...coverage team scares me again...but maybe with more of the regulars in their role, and addition of guys like Moses...Gemmel..Pertrishen we may surprise

  24. Osh 4 wins away from 100. Pretty impressive. Only grant has more and believe it’s 102 wins. Quietly O’Shea is becoming the goat of bomber coaches.

  35. Yeah I second that. O'Shea is the GOAT when he wins his 5th cup.

  36. The guardian design will be replaced. Something more aerodynamic to allow for quicker acceleration, sensor rings to collapse during contact, and advantage to defenders during a field goal and punts. This French prototype could be popular.

  37. If someone thinks that we could get rid of the Canadian ratio, employ mostly all Americans trying to get into the NFL, and not adopt NFL rules is more than a bit delusional. Get rid of the radio and the CFL is over.

  38. You know, if some American doesn't want to come to Canada to try out for a job in the CANADIAN football league, I'm just fine with that.

  39. Mos made a great comment in the presser yesterday. He said that they all really value both CMI and Clercius going into their last ncaa season knowing they weren't going to get the reps that they wanted, but sticking it out with their teams any way and finding new roles to support their teams. Its some thing you dont see in the transfer portal era. Guys hit it and quit it soo fast now. I mean we have lots of guys who transferred multiple times on the roster. It takes a special mind set for guys like that, especially soo talented and athletic to choose loyalty to their program even if their program doesn't choose it to them. Really makes me think both those guys are gonna overachieve here.

  40. Back to Training Camp discussion. Man, you get the impression Michael Chris-Ike is going to be a factor (no, not the jabari arthur factor) on this team. I am not usually one to pay attention to the combine results but for a guy that is 6'1" 225 to be the top in the cone and shuttle is impressive. Combine that with having a bunch of special teams tape; describes himself as aggressive on teams; it really sounds like he is exactly what we need. You could also see O'Shea beaming (the classic O'Shea beam) when talking about him.

  42. This is a great article.... good to hear that Haba seems ready to take over Jackson's role... but I'm excited about Garbutt and Rivers too... having a three man rotation of Willie, Haba, and Rivers/Garbutt will hopefully cause a lot of havoc for opposing QBs

  46. I don’t even see a problem with wavering if more information becomes available. For example, early 2022, I still thought we for sure needed an American running back. Brady’s play totally took a 180 and I was glad to change my opinion. Something like: Having no interior DL who could push the pocket and 2 gassed out DEs cost us the last 2 Grey cups. That’s a hill I’ll die on.

  47. Im very concerned about Bighill going into the season. He looked absolutely done at times last season with zero speed and missed tackles all over the field. And with Clements gone and Cole shifting to a different position the Bombers have shockingly shown zero interest in bringing in anyone else with CFL experience to even spell him during the season, let alone grooming someone to be his replacement(which will need to happen in the very very near future). This could be a major issue this season.

  49. I've been trying to figure out the snaps where it looks like Kramdi is playing safety. I think it's actually Nichols who they're moving to safety. It's during the skeleton period so it's very tough to tell. The reps in question come when put Tyrique McGhee in at the boundary corner and move Parker into half.
