  3. Really excited for this one. On holidays this week so no rushing home and then back. Going to head over early and enjoy the tailgate for a change. First time since the West Final last year that we weren’t rolling in last minute.

  4. Just incredible on the Bombers organization to sell 30k+ seats to an Als game on a Thursday night in August. I'm probably too close to the Bombers, as in they mean so much and I follow them so closely, that I've lost perscpecting of where this team sits in the in the hearts and minds of Winnipeggers but it sure does feel good to see so many people interested in going to the game. Bravo the Bombers for building this team/organization up.

  9. In the midst of a crazy work sched over the last month, I'm actually at my house to watch this one, so I'm pretty damned excited. Two weeks holidays start next Friday the 19th, so we'll be home for the Calgary game on the 25th. Hoping that game is much the same atmosphere as tonight. Tonight is going to be an absolute molly-whopping of epic proportions. Over by half time. LFG!!!

    Week 10 Non-Champs Games

starting to regret taking Hamilton this week...........

  19. An interesting note is that historically collaros has had his best career games in bounce backs the week after a rough outing. And hasn’t had bad games back to back since like 2016. Months twice prior he had rough outings back to back. But the over whelming majority of his bounce back games are tremendous.

    Canadian Politics

This seems to be the way things are going as I see it anyway. So much hatred & mistrust of government at all levels by right wing supporters. We see it in Alberta with the knuckle draggers & conspiracy theorists supporting Danielle Smith for leader of the UPC. We see it with Max Bernier of the PPC & with Pollievre of the CPC. Threr's no more moderate conservatives anymore. They are being pushed aside.

  31. I don’t think you can say Agudosi has proved anything. He’s played in one game. I have doubts we ever see him again, tbh.

  32. I would argue we saw the things Fajardo doing were for real, though when they were 3-3 nobody was selling Fajardo was MOP. The following game where he scored the winning TD against Hamilton, that certainly help. Ultimately when the Riders went 13-5 with him leading the league in passing yards and being 7th in rushing yards, it made sense. For me, the big difference between Fajardo's & Nichols' spots was that I thought the Bombers had better talent on O. And Nichols' style (1/3rd of his passes & 1/4 of yards come on passes within 2 yards of the line of scrimmage that year), requires too much from other players to deserve MOP acclaim. Well...Fajardo's prior experience was 68 regular season pass attempts playing behind Ricky Ray and Michael Reilly (while Fajardo was on his first contract). By the time of the Collaros trade, Fajardo had almost double that many attempts in the Sask offence with their personnel and their coordinator, so I get it. Plus, his designed run + scramble game is something very few guys have--I'm sure that potential appealed to them as well.

  33. In those 5 starts from week 2-7, Fajardo threw for 1326 yards with 7 tds and 4 interceptions. In 5 starts during the same period, Matt Nichols threw for 1227 with 10 tds and 4 interceptions. Winnipeg had a better record too. @DTonOB was Fajardo really playing at a West MOP level?

  34. Hey thanks Cory! I didn't know that. Or it's one of the many things I've forgotten. More forgetting to come! 😂 All I want for my birthday is a Bombers W

  36. Fact of the matter the Faj sucks...never had been a legit top teir QB who will lead you...never mind lead you to winning the Grey Cup Harris should have got MOP...got black balled and that ended any chance of that Bryant got totally screwed...and it should be embarrassing to the CFL how that bs went down...u know damn well and could see it in the Grey Cup his brothers on defense made sure Canada saw and Bryant himself on offence was just pure excellence...

  37. That's my white whale, for sure. I check every day for old Bombers gear and my favourite treasure so far is my 63 (no name plate) from somewhere in between 88-92 I think. Really want to find a Dunigan from his time here.... I know they're out there because I see them at the stadium. Hopefully one day it goes up for grabs. Randomly, there's some dude who has access to Bombers game worn stuff and has sold a few Doug Brown game worn helmets. They go for around 500 bucks so outta my range, but it's crazy to see that up for sale...

    2022 Week 10 Pick 'Ems

Much as I am a Bomber booster, the Lions-Stampeders game ought to have the most drama. Two well-matched teams with good offences and quarterbacks who are really playing for second place homefield advantage in the playoffs.

  40. I saw a few people wearing them at the game in Calgary, they looked nice, not sure I'd buy one but they looked ok. Seems like every Bailey catch is a tough one, he is a beast. He has been overshadowed this year by the emergence of Shoen, but has been heating up lately. He will be key should we get more injuries.

  41. Literally the only reason he was the west MOP was because all the other qbs got hurt and some self righteous media types decided to punish Harris for the drug test. The fact he was west MOP is a giant ******* joke. Back to the decontamination room for you.

  42. I'd buy 19 of them, if I was starting a hockey team.
