  1. I didn't realize that Cody had his class 1 license. The way he backs up his excuse truck every week is next level.

  3. The worst part of the early-mid 2010s picks was no one wanted to play here anyway. We wouldn't have got a Kongbo type guy who just had to wait on the NFL to even show up versus by the end of the decade we had the culture where guys knew they'd get a shot that would both be an enjoyable experience and set them up to get into the NFL too.

  4. what I remember about the Mulumba situation is that Mack had an in with the Packers, and they told him there was a slim-to-none chance he was going to make the team and that it was fairly safe to draft him for the CFL. It was a total fluke that the guy carved out a career and never made it up here.

  5. You can set high expectations without being a hard ass. No one responds to leaders who are always angry. But you show players what the expectations are and have their backs when they try and reach it then you actually get people to reach that potential. Same in anything. Any of you like a boss that always gets mad when mistakes happen? Or do you work better when the boss says "hey this needs to be better, here's how we're going to accomplish that"

  9. I think it's more of a "what are you going to do next time" approach. But there's no tolerance for bullshit. Like Duke Williams going to media today saying he didn't do what he got suspended for and he "dogged out" Richardson, Dinwiddie's lying. On this team the focus is always on the next game, the next play. Sask is in some kind of competition to be the loudest barking dog but don't have any focus on the actual goal.

  10. Mostly green guys. I would say we’ve made the most of our breaks and made some tremendous plays in the clutch. How many times does a secondary need to make amazing game winning picks before it’s recognized as talent and preparation instead of luck I wonder. we’ve also faced more adversity this year than we have since collaros took over. Soo many big injuries and departures.

  11. Bang on. Mos sets an extremely high bar for effort, preparedness, physicality and team work. He doesn’t enforce it with an iron fist, he doesn’t have to. He leads by example and has built a culture where the locker room checks it self. if any thing guys don’t want to disappoint mos or let down the trust he puts in them. That’s why he gets the most out of players. watching the grey cup parade in the stadium the best example of his leadership was him and his wife picking up garbage off the field. Idk how many coaches in the league would do that. But he did it with a smile. some times his personnel choices drive me crazy. But man id have no problem giving him a life time contract because he’s always going to lead a high character team

  15. I’ll catch you up. -Riders suck -Fajardo is a whiny loser -Riders are a dirty trashbag team -Dickinson is a whiny excuse-maker -TSN sucks -Schedule-maker is a joke, trying to sabotage the Bomber dynasty -Suitor sucks -Everyone at TSN is rooting against the Bombers, except Matt Dunigan who is the best they have -Did I mention that the Riders and their fans suck? So basically nothing new.

  17. When asked by Regina Leader-Post reporter Murray McCormick if being accused of spitting on someone is as low as it gets in the CFL, Williams replied simply: “Yeah, I guess so.” Perhaps not as low as, oh, I don't know, actually spitting on someone? I hate the Riders so much. I take it back...I hope BC destroys them.

  18. Mulumba wasn't a bad pick TBH - he just barely caught on in the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Packers. That doesn't happen and there is a extremely good chance he plays in Blue and Gold (and based on the little bit of time he played in the NFL, would have shown well in the CFL). We even got a little unlucky - if the Packer's hadn't had the freak occurrence of all their linebackers getting injured it's entirely likely Mulumba would never have gotten off the practice roster... Never gets off the practice roster means he probably doesn't get a look after GB which maybe means he's maybe still looking to play football after the NFL was done with him in 2014/2015.

  20. I’ll say based on what I’ve seen out of Collaros in our second full season here that I wouldn’t sign any receiver who is less than about 6’2…6’ for sure. Hamilton had it right when he was going there too. Field was lined up 6’3-6’5…Banks just returned kicks. Collaros is a downfield guy and unless you have someone real special like Dressler or Demski that means you need tall and wide receivers. Wouldn’t waste time on McKnight, trying to make Grant into something on O, even Bailey doesn’t fit great aside from the odd big play into the downfield stuff trying to make him a screen guy. Schoen, Ellingson, Agudosi, Lawler, even Darvin Adams in 19…immediate chemistry with Collaros…all big dudes.

  22. Fun fact. Duke has been paid $15,277 per catch or $865 per yard. Lawler is $7,500 per catch and $622 per yard. yeah I’m really bored.

  23. I think the difference is some guys, like O'Shea, know when it is acceptable to be a hard ass... and when it is not... others, like Maas, think yelling all the time is only answer

  26. A coach or manager doesn’t need to yell or scream at the players if they know what is expected and the consequence of diminished performance. MOS doesn’t yell at the refs either, his staff and squad see that.

  30. Why are you so angry about it? I mean I get people can ***** and moan about a high pick on Mulumba who never played, but most of the top athletes from that draft were going to the NFL, they gambled on Mulumba being one who wouldn't get that shot. But why Bilukidi? He was a mid or late round pick that they took a chance on coming back from the NFL. Kyle Walters had take some of those risks too. Just what you have to do sometimes in the CFL draft. Not worth being angry about at this point.

  31. The inconsistency is the problem with someone like Maas. The behaviour on the low end is basically abusive and his own composure is obviously an issue given what we saw more of when he was a head coach, issues with decision making.

  36. TBH - I'd like to see him get a full season + pension with the Jets this year and sign with us halfway through next year... Zack will be 35/36 next year... Give Strev a full season and a half as an active backup and maybe a transition year with ZC/Strev as an A/B qb combo. Don't see ZC playing much past 38 tbh.

  37. Ultimate teamate! And those 18 grabs for barely over 300 yards is a wicked bargain for 275k...he was even thoughtful enough to tarnish the brand..get suspended and influence others to be idiots at no charge...we sure missed out getting him
