  1. So Devonte Dedmon is signing in the NFL. That's a huge loss for the entire league. He was maybe the most entertaining player in the whole league last year. And Ottawa's only player worth a Goddamn....

Let's stop pretending that the convoy has anything to do with Covid. These are white supremacists that are using very limited restrictions as a platform to spread hate and promote fascism. Truckers, on a regular basis, face farrrr more restrictions and incursions into their personal "freedoms" than a vaccine mandate.

  10. I remember the year after they gave up 72 sacks and they interviewed Bob Wylie in training camp and he said that the all those sacks were not the olines fault and that they were going to be much better.

  11. Yep, personally I'd like to see them sign Bailey to 2 years first and then go after Burnham if we can't get Lawler. Bailey is a gamer and has tons of heart,I think 2022 will be a 1000 yard season for him.

  12. This guy seems ready to make a comeback too (maybe saw the Bowman and Arceneaux signings), although by the way he is huffing and puffing I’m a little worried about his conditioning.

If they want to talk about freedom and equality, use their trucks and loads of free time to bring food to remote First Nations. Donate the money raised to ensure reserves have clean drinking water. A group of entitled people expecting to be free of any responsibility to the rest of society is what this is. Self-victimization and promoting themselves as heroes to Canada. Backed and encouraged by people that know how to manipulate them.

this **** pisses me off. So my mother in law is a severely compromised MS sufferer. She's only 65, but you'd think she's 90. Fully bed-ridden, can't feed herself...nothing. She's been triple-vaxxed since late last year and will be getting her 4th at the end of Feb. My only *real* concern throughout the pandemic is keeping her safe. Somehow, so far, we've dodged the bullet (*knocks on wood*)...... I thank Christ (metaphorically) every damn day for the vaccines that have kept her somewhat safe....

  20. Burnham was outstanding the last two seasons on some bad teams. I’ve wanted him for a long time. Obviously I would prefer to sign Lawler but if he’s gone to the NFL I think Burnham would be a great fit here in Winnipeg.

Freedom is something you fight for, because that kind of power must be earned and respected. Entitlement is something you expect to be handed to you because you believe it is your automatic right above all others. Way too many people today seem to falsely equate the two as the same thing.

To be fair, Theo Fleury is an absolute ******* moron. He's been happily cruising down the QAnon/Covidiot rabbit hole if his Twitter feed is any indication of his detachment from reality. He's been a few slices short of a loaf for quite some time. The pandemic only damaged his brain further.

  25. Do you guys remember people shitting on Stanley Bryant in his first season here because our OL still sucked? It took a while for things to gel. And such a combination of things - getting a minimum level of talent along the entire OL (Bond being inserted was a big deal at the time) - A QB who could get the ball away in a decent amount of time - Harris coming in who could actually take advantage of holes presented and get every yard out of every play.

  26. Yeah the stereotype TE u see in the NFL isn't the metric u need...or would see here...also he doesn't have to be a big dude either ..it's the position and role of it that would be king...sure a big lanky guy could be ideal in some situ's...but also a body type like teams use now to chip off the edge...or widen out the dline... Now Toss a guy t he ete who can catch...and work in traffic and you are golden... That be a nice transition for Harris to extend a career...true tight end set...blocks ..slides out like he already does...crossers...deeper routes to pull a backer out of the box...it's how you use the guy...not his body type Cripes....in a goal line set use Willie...he could crack down and block...drive the pile...or post up for a endzone toss...he'd have to be accounted for and opens up so much more to your offence

My mother has MS and has lived through 2 different outbreaks at her care home. Luckily she got the vaccine early, is now triple-vaxxed, and was able to avoid catching it both times. She has been battling it since 1987, more than half her life. I was 8 or so when she was diagnosed and have very few memories of her without MS. She's been in a wheel chair for 20+ years but weve been lucky as her condition hasnt really deteriorated over the years very much, yet. Terrible disease with very little known about the origins. Tell your mother-in-law to keep her chin up. Its a disease that can fluctuate and some peoples symptoms get milder over time. New treatments are on the horizon.

  31. I'm sure with Walters that the phone has barely been hung up as he's trying to work deals. We should inundate Burnham's social media with pictures of us and our back to back cups, might have a quick signing after that.

  32. Bob Wylie was let go by the RedBlacks because they want their coaching staff to get younger. Another word for cheaper. So, thery brought in a different coach who is younger & won't make as much $$$. Did the same thing to Steve Walsh their qb coach. Ageism at it's finest. It's not about who is best but who is cheaper. Which is why LaPo won't last the season there. Wylie & Walsh had literally nothing to work with.

When I see someone holding up a placard that says Freedom, I’m confused. What does that actually mean , not just in relation to this current pandemic but as a HumanBeing currently residing on the planet Earth? And what relation does Freedom have with Social Responsibility? ffs

Personally in any industry where you deal with the public, I think they should just have the unvaccinated deal with the unvaccinated. You're an unvaccinated nurse? Okay, you get to deal with unvaccinated hospital patients. Unvaccinated teacher? Into the cohort of unvaccinated students etc. etc.

So I asked myself this very question about how the committee can get around someone pleading the 5th, and this video does a decent job explaining some of the options. Bottom line, if the committee really needs testimony they will offer immunity. And then they need to be picky about who it is offered to. It needs to be someone who (a) is not such a big fish that giving them a break will feel like a deal with the devil that perverts justice (b) has important enough information to pin down the real targets (c) someone whose testimony can be found reliable and credible, or can be proven to be a lie thus opening them up for perjury if they try to lie (d) has a side benefit that the damage to their reputation offsets the loss of criminal prosecution and hurts them anyway (e) someone who has legitimate fear of worse criminal consequences if they refuse to take an immunity deal, so they are motivated to cut a deal to save their skin and will give up the good dirt. So who fits that orbit?
