  1. Greatest hit in recent Bomber history? I think so. Right up there with when Terry Ray made Pat Woodcock puke anyway.

  3. This one was my favorite for a long time because it was against the Riders and it pretty much put a wrap on Szarka's career (nothing personal against him but all the talk from the dirty 4 stripes about him being anywhere close to the same level as Mike Sellers always left a bad taste in my mouth). Hansen's hit is my new favorite though... you could hear it across McMahon stadium!

Anyone notice that if you ignore the territories Manitoba now leads the country in double vaxed percentage ? Right up there in at least 1 dose as well. Great to see !

  5. I will be angry about that as long as I live. 17to85 and I have a friend that is the most die-hard 4-stripe I've ever known, and he was all aboard that wagon......I'll never let it go.

  7. 03 LDC, Greene is the starter and is awful so the Priders start chanting for Burris (newly re-signed) to go in. He does and sucks too. Priders are chanting take him out and we're chanting "Keep him in."

  8. And also, Nealon Greene is just the same as Khari Jones.

  9. Meh...who is he going to replace? We have solid vets in the rec core and he just doesn't have the upside like a Dressler or Matthews did. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Ott but other than that I think he might be done.

  10. This was amazing, and the moment was special. But that hit on SSK fullback from Bowman was maybe the biggest hit I've ever seen live.

well that's done, I got my second vaccination and in two weeks I can apply for my vax card. I celebrated by doing something I had been wanting to do for awhile....I bought a cotton candy burrito from Tee-Yah's (because the explained to me once how long these are supposed to last, and they would only last about 20 minutes wrapped in cotton candy, so I felt it would be necessary to have a ride with me, and I told them I would need two spoons to share with my ride, because it was kind of big anyway)

  14. It happened right after the Harris touchdown too, was just a huge moment. I was at the far end of the stadium but there was an audible gasp from the crowd at how impressive the hit was.

  17. You have to keep Grant. He was the best KR/PR in the league once he took over. Nelson has to earn his way as a receiver.

You will get stared at.... People here are complete lunatics who want no part of masks or any other measures. They don't even want people talking about COVID. It's over and it'll never come back. Move on and act like it never happened. That's Alberta and Albertans right now. Complete ******* lunatics.

  31. In that June 27th 2019 game Charles Nelson was our return specialist. I see that he is back. Who do they go with, Grant or Nelson? I realize this is where being able to see training camp would help a lot.

  34. I re-watched the June 27th 2019 game again, where we beat Edmonton (barely), and the Reklaws were the half time entertainment (lol). Kind of a messy game, amazing how much offenses in the CFL improve as the season goes and the timing starts to click much better. Our receivers at that time were Chris Matthews (I was like what? I forgot all about him), Darvin, Lucky W., Wollo and Demski, with Petermann also getting in a play or two here and there. That's not exactly an overwhelming cast of characters, though Lucky got two TDs for us in that game and looked like he was going to light it up at the time. Good to see the Bombers really focus on getting more depth. By the end of 2019 I thought our receiving corp had gotten much stronger, and it's only gotten better since then, I'd say.

Yeah if it was my wife and i booking we would have taken direct to Vancouver and taken the ferry over to Nanaimo. But my dad wanted to pay for our flights as an early christmas gift and used his aeroplan points, so were stuck in Calgary for 8 hours. He thought he was doing us a favor flying directly into Nanaimo but we were looking forward to the ferry! Didnt have the heart to tell him lol.
