I'll add a diverse run game! Running Brady in the A gap all day long out of the same formation won't do it.

Sort of peeved they honoured Dalke. Glad they honoured Bhishma. If Dalke survived he would be in jail. I get he was still a teammate and all but his actions lead to this. Difficult situation for the Riders for sure. Also what a crazy finish. Another game decided in the last seconds. This has been one of the most entertaining seasons I can recall.

Yeah we signed 2 of the 4 top free agent receivers that ended up not re-signing with their own teams. My concern is a lot deeper with recruitment.

And this is the Wilson that I cannot stand. I appreciate the insight he brings to the booth during a game but **** that guy.

I always associate and picture Cody Fajardo as being the younger brother of Disco Inferno from WCW. Both annoying and with a similar hittable face...

The Bombers are pretty much Jekyll and Hyde this past couple seasons so who knows which one we'll get tonight.

Off to Riderfans. Should be some calm rational conversation.

Maybe Knuckles could pop into the booth and feed Willson one into his smug face

I don't like Fajardo overall but I like anyone beating the Riders

It's really hard to believe the disrespect Cody Fajardo gets around here. Just like Trevor Harris did until he won a Grey Cup.

What's crazy, is given all the deep shots, all the possessions etc, that mark is still 200+ yards short of Dunigan's record. Whoever attended that game in person is blessed. Damn shame there's minimal highlights of it. That record will never be broken.

Have a chance to move up in the standings, wont come easy vs Vernon, hopefully we end his Int streak and the defense handles the Calgary O. LETS ******* GO!!!

Also need to hit them vertical. Can use the bullshit West Coast stuff to get their feet locked and looking downhill but we need a vertical breakout. Calgary is very vulnerable.

That game last night would have been 21-19 ended on a last second failed hail mary attempt with the new field. New field = punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, TD, punt, punt, punt, punt, punt, TD, punt, punt, hail mary game over. Everyone still waiting on Willson's explanation as to how the 2027 changes will improve the game.

Cline likely is the first and a for sure guy we see this yr...and agree on Schoen and whatever Walter's said was just his pure un-informed (at the time speculation) I know he is fully training now, and late season would be 16 months removed...which is generally where we should have slotted him in last yr and we wouldnt be in this spot we are in now...but poor recruitment and our penchant for playing guys hurt...well we know how that panned out...with 2 guys ACL injuries are not like they used to be...even multiple ones...and re-injury one isnt a cumulative thing where each time you come back as a lesser and lesser player Generally you can come back and be close to what you were 12 months removed, but its that second yr back where you get back to where you were..or better...and when I say better physically all around as the training and rehab and the rest the body gets...guys usually come back as a better athlete If he is cleared in Aug/Sept...we be dumb not to bring him back...ease hi in and then in 2027 you have a WR who only 31 with some prime yrs ahead of him...No Brainer in my book

Or a paddlin at the bare minimum.

My theory is teams are using a lot more American OL and it's helping since the trend going back a few years is DLs kicking the **** out of offensive lines.

We went after Tim White and Tommy Neild after locking up Pokey Wilson for 3 years. None of our plans were based around Schoen returning.

All defenses are getting torched this year. I am sure both the Riders' and Elks' secondaries will look awful in film review.

I'm not a fan of Younger and his scheme. He feels like the LaPolice of DCs in that he's trying to be the smartest guy in the room. Dude needs to simplify, get out of his own way and let players play instinctually. All that said, I'll settle for our DBs not running around and looking like their lost as this is a game that can go bad real quick. Our only saving grace tonight might be weather which, if they can establish a run game and get Brady going early, should favour us.

This guy needs a kick in the nuts

For me it's his personality, not so much his play. Playing for the Riders didn't help but I still found him unlikeable in Montreal and Edmonton.

Don't get down 26-9 and it'll be a a bit easier... But I agree, let's actually use the best RB in the league right from jump Street. If they load the box to take away the run, send him out into the flat as an outlet... Just find a way to get the ball in his hands early.

Somebody tell Condell that Brady is only 97 yards away from 6000 for his career. Looking to become the 5th Canadian to do so.

Dustin and Luke doing the game tonight.

Sorry I meant to say a different guy, who did play great

Just praying for two points .. don't care how it looks. Gotta stay at 2L...

Then you weren't watching. He bailed on a bunch of plays. Reverse to Pimpleton right at him, Moxey kind of steps up to turn Pimpleton in, as soon as Gosselin reaches his inside shoulder Moxey starts running away from the play and gives up 7 yards on a play that's a loss if he just keeps his leverage. Quit on the 2 pt play to Lewis in OT. They iso'd him a bunch of times and he still just took 15 yard drops even though there's only one route on his side of the field He's a major liability for us. Ottawa ate us alive with their field WR (Moxey) as their main target. Rarely see that. But he sure will break out in dance when someone on his side of the field drops a ball.

No way. Fajardo is nowhere near as consistent as Alexander or Harris. Edmonton has trouble scoring points even with the offensive production they have. Through the first 1/3 of the season they were tied with us and Ottawa last for red zone efficiency. Edmonton has the best overall pass defense in the league, otherwise they'd have lost 3-4 games already. They've been doing a high wire act to win games and they've run out of games vs BC and Ottawa. Wouldn't be surprised if they finish up at 9-10 wins even though they are 6-1 now.

That's Alexander. Fajardo is a close 2nd though. The INTs is really the only difference maker.

That's my thinking as well. If he's healthy and can pass the physical we sign him to a 2 year contract with a good signing bonus to get some of next years on this year's cap, which allows him to eat, and ease him in to where hopefully he's all caught up by playoffs. I think there is a very strong chance. If he signs Labor Dayish that would be a FULL recovery period. He's either good to go then or he never will be.

Go Blue!

Bombers have a good shot if they can get the running game going and Condell doesn’t ignore Brady again. 1 dimensional O won’t cut it this time. Calgarys secondary isn’t really hot ****. That Defence can be had if their DL is kept under control.

Except he is coming off a couple of serious injuries so it is quite possible he just doesn't have the footwork anymore. I highly doubt we get Allen. Damaged goods. Not sure if he is trying to protect his arm somewhat but there were TC reports saying that his wing was either still not 100 or he was shy to fully use it.

Yeah Fajardo is an insufferable ******

I have to give Fajito some respect for sure. He’s played well the last few years after leaving Sask.

I predict VAJ will throw for 300 plus yards. Shut down D has become impossible in this league. Which offense is more efficient, combined with timely stops by the D, will win tonight.

Quotes that precede unfortunate events

Weird season with such crazy numbers for the QB's....

Save the Fajardo!

I find it very ironic that two of the three best teams have quarterbacks that are essentially retreads who couldn't stick elsewhere.

Austin mack drops a ball with no one around for 5 yards Suitor: "Marcus Sayles leads the DBs of the best secondary in the league"

Should have been a late hit on Harris that went uncalled. But it's a dangerous precedent to set that he whines to the refs and immediately gets a fake make up RTP on the next play

Man if we could get something good for Pavia...

And that 3 year deal goes splat. I bet he comes, could be great value in a trade for us. Bet hamilton, ottawa and BC would give a nice return for him. Itd be hillarious if we fleeced ott again

and if I take his job...I take his job...said like Drago...If he dies...he dies lol

He had a fight with teammate Ron Stewart of the Los Angeles Kings over house expenses they shared in April of 1970. Due to the scuffle, Sawchuk had his gall bladder removed & his bleeding liver surgically repaired but he succumbed to his injuries a few days after surgery. Interestingly, the cops cleared Stewart of any wrongdoing & the DA never pressed charges. You'd think there'd have been a manslaughter charge at the very least considering they had a fight. All kind of hush, hush & strange.
