Kool Did not know that - I am the opposite - US born - went to SMU and played there (not all that good but did get some games in) - Went into the Army in the late 60's did my thing in Nam and after being mustered out came to Winnipeg thinking I could play for the Bombers (a few of my SMU team members had tried out up here) - Made it through 2 days of rookie camp and gave up the ghost (I was in great shape just not fast enough). However everything has a silver lining - I met my wife (51 years and counting) - got my MBA - Moved back to Dallas and then back to Winnipeg in 1981 (and have been a season ticket holder and Bomber fan ever since) - Note I now live in Calgary (took my business there about 15 years ago) - heck I even was one of the orginal members of TotalCFL (wonder if anyone remembers that site) and of course Colin Unger's (OurBombers) site. I still have (see photo) my signed Dieter Brock Jersey!!

Really getting tired of TSN's garbage Live. An error has occurred is pretty much all I get and I restart, flush cache, restart and the same **** over and over again. What idiots are running their streaming service? Oh wait Bell. Guess that's what I get. I'll be asking for a refund if this **** keeps up though. Well third time was the charm of clearing cache and now it works. What garbage. I'd get fired if this was the quality of the job I did, especially if people are paying for it.

On defense we are fine..Rather have Darby than Kramdi anyway...Jeffcoat and Lawson will make a noticeable diff...and nice to have Cole back in...super athlete..like to see him get some rotation too.. BOLO for Augudosi ain't end of world and Mcrae will fill in fine for Demski..

They really gotta add some Canadians to the PR. They aren’t going to be world beaters but guys that can play special teams at least.

As an employee with Federal and working from home I can confirm that any talk that productivity or delays as result of working away from the office is 100% full of poop. It's propaganda because of the pressure that Ottawa (and other) downtowns are facing from the local businesses who are complaining that business is down because the federal employees are the ones buying coffee and lunches from them. I've worked at 4 different federal gov't agencies in my career and I know first hand that people are far more likely to not work a full 8 hour day, take excessive breaks, get distracted with conversating with fellow employees when in the office. Also the mental health aspect is a huge factor, not having to spend 1.5 hours per day in my car rushing to get home to pick up my kids from an after school program is a massive benefit. I also know people who work with the provincial justice system, they were back logged prior to COVID because the sheer amount of crimes in Manitoba is incredibly high. That number of crimes sky rocketed once people were locked at home and drinking more and whatever other factors that lead to people committing crimes. Most of the provincial staff had to work in office because the system is antiquated and still uses a lot of paper. I'm not sure where Lawler falls in but it has nothing to do with WFH or Hybrid. Unions do protect bad employees, but what you are complaining about is a management issue. I've seen people completely hide behind the union and do absolutely no work, but it's not like these people once in the office work hard and then at home stop. These folks won't work no matter where they are and who they work under.

This is going to be a tough game against a solid Montreal team.

I expect to see a heavy rotation on the D line and Crapardo running for his life.

I think if by labour day they are still scuffling...showing no discipline...being selfish...he could get poooched then..this has been an almost 3 yr thing now for them

Jones created a monster mess with the qbs in Edmonton. As Barker said tonight, Jones kept the same OC, QB Coach & same qbs as last year & then procliamed Cornelius his starter only to toss him aside after the best half of football he played this season. He asked why??? Jones is a total ass. He looks 10 years older than he did 2 years ago when he came onboard as the Elks GM & HC claiming he had all the answers. The smartest guy with the biggest ego in the room is finding out that he isn't so smart after all.

If they cared about player safety any delay of a game that hasn’t started would just push the game back to the next day. I get some places you have issues with venue availability. Montreal in July isn’t one of them.

The tentative start time is now 7pm Winnipeg time. Players need 35 minutes to warm up so if they aren't on the field by the bottom of the hour the start time might get pushed back again.

Other than Ed Tait's articles, they're producing minimal media content at this time, pumping out 2 interviews per practice, usually from the same 2 individuals. Time for a shake up and new blood.

True. He had some glimmers last year too. Having him and kyrie both on the ar would be great. Clements is pretty good on teams too. So having him focus more on teams and rotate would be great. Really Lawson should take the most reps at dt. Idk how walker is still around tbh. He’s the most mediocre imp dt we’ve had in aaggeess. With the three des dressed I wouldn’t be surprised to see use go 3 de with Lawson on the nose. Willy at dt then twisting is deadly. Jeffcoat and Habba are both bull rush loads too. yeah hope Parker is back soon.
