I don't see Pigrome as some kind of messiah. In half a season as a short yardage QB him turning the ball over now a major factor in 2 Ottawa 1 point losses.4 points -
And Edmonton has some good running back options too. Their big problem is they tried ti make Taylor Cornelius a thing and Taylor Cornelius both sucks and blows. And further more, brown hasn't just looked good vs Edmonton, he looked good in a couple starts and relief appearances the past couple years. Guy has shown more than a lot of qbs getting starting reps for other teams. Does it make him a world beater? Nope, just that qbs around the league are in a bad place at this time.4 points

One option is to increase the SMS by 80 to 100k and add a non-roster position for a 4th quaterback. The CFL is competing with the USFL and XFL for talent and need to offer more than practice roster pay to attract quality guys.3 points -

How would we rank the current "starting QB" for each team as of this week? Is this accurate: Chad Kelly VAJ Dru Brown Jake Maier McCheese Dustin Crum Tre Ford Caleb Evans Taylor Powell Jake Dolegala (too unknown to rank) It is a pretty sad state of affairs at the moment. Dru Brown would definitely help some of those teams on the bottom end. I can accept that argument that playing for the Bombers makes Dru Brown look better. But I also have no doubt that at this point he would be an improvement over any of the bottom 3, maybe 4 guys on that list.3 points -

One of the best ideas the XFL had was a โTeam 9โ that was essentially a league practice roster which was to develop both coaches and players who arenโt currently employed and to have players ready to sign with good scouting. Personally to me itโs a no-brainer for the CFL to do something like this to develop Canadians, Globals, QBs and give some younger coaches experience too. You have say the last 4-5 cuts from each team continuing to develop instead of going home and then when teams need to sign guys they are still around and easily accessible.3 points -

Geno Lewis who has the most receiving yards since 2019. Dunbar has 630 yards his first season in 12 games or a 945 yard pace and then had a 1000 yards. Mitchell had 637 yards in 8 games last season or well over a 1200 yard pace. That's a solid group.3 points -

Other teams do it to the Bombers all the time, though itโs certainly magnified when itโs a qb getting hit. At Montreal Woli makes the td reception, gets shoved hard from behind and skitters across the stupid track and into AV equipment boxes. Sask, Ott and Edm all have defenders that love hammering guys after a TD. Should be called more since the rule is a TD and play is done once the ball in possession breaks the plane of the goal line.3 points -

Manitobans who buy electric vehicles would get rebate of up to $4K under NDP: Kinew Manitoba's Opposition New Democrats are promising rebates for people who purchase electric vehicles. NDP Leader Wab Kinew says if his party wins the election set for Oct. 3, it would offer a $4,000 rebate for new electric vehicles and a $2,500 rebate for used ones. The federal government currently offers rebates of up to $5,000, depending on the type of vehicle, and some provinces have already adopted similar rebates. Kinew says an NDP government would also sign on to a federal commitment to protect 30 per cent of land and ocean by 2030. He says Manitoba currently has about 11 per cent of its land and water in protected status, and accuses the Progressive Conservative government of dragging its feet on the issue. The NDP is also promising to restore funding to nine environmental organizations, such as the Manitoba Eco-Network, that was cut in 2020. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/manitoba-ndp-climate-announcement-electric-vehicle-rebate-1.69406313 points -

Since you're curious about whether I'm an incel (and I don't think you really understand the anti-feminist implications of that term) or just "very odd" -- I'll out myself as being a member of the latter category. I'll happily identify as a "very odd" feminist husband and father who thinks that commenting on a woman's appearance is a form of objectification when it's irrelevant to the topic (the irrelevance at least we agree upon) and that being attracted to women is not required to be a "normal male" (did you know that "normal" men are not always hetero?). I'll show myself out, but in my closing words I'll invite you to reflect upon who may feel unwelcome by your comments here.3 points -

It seems to me that the rhetoric is becoming a bit heated here. The first thing we notice upon seeing another human coming into view is their gender. That said, there is an obvious line between remarking on their attractiveness and commenting on this physical attribute or that. I am and have been a feminist for many decades and have believed that it is possible to acknowledge physical attractiveness without using that as a way to diminish someone.2 points

Yeah if he can be successful behind their line...no reason he couldn't here...2 points

Iโd be up for that. Any thing really. My thought is if we up the floor, separate QBs from the cap and or take the extra qb off we could really push out the other leagues with cost. They donโt pay QBs much at all. If we lock all QBs into say a minimum of 150k it would be hard to get QBs for those leagues at 50k.2 points

1. Castillo - in a one point win, if the other guy misses 2 and your guy hits them all, he deserves recognition 2. Willie J - knockdowns from the line killed drive after drive 3. Holm - the waif just keeps getting it done. Knockdowns from the back end, covering for others, sure and solid tackling, and enough physicality to draw a bogus roughing penalty. Not bad for a teenage girl, eh? H.H. - Kolankowski and Hardrick - when we needed a clock killing first down from our own 15 yard line on the last 90 seconds, Brady was going to be stuffed, but Kolankowski drove his man back with Brady riding his hip, and Hardrick pushed the pile from behind to get us a 4.5 yard gain out of nothing to salt the game away. Pure grit and will from the o-line to seal the deal.1 point -

Largely disagree, all of those teams have terrible receivers, mediocre o-lines and a complete lack of a running game mostly because of the first two issues. This isn't like the dying days of the Matt Nichols time with the Bombers where everything was in place and only the QB was holding the team back.1 point

But then she mentions cyber bullying. Yeah, a parents bill of rights isn't going to fix that issue when its students posting pictures or doing bullying online. Now do schools get involved with this and work to fix this, with parental knowledge and involvement? 100% Total dog whistle and use of Republican tactics from groups like Moms for Liberty.1 point -
