hey guys - we got out of West Kelowna last night after spending the day packing up our vehicles with stuff and as of right now have no idea if our house is still standing. Meanwhile now half of Kelowna is also on fire. We were able to find a place to stay in Vernon but if the fires get this far north our next stop in Calgary. Right now I feel like I am in the movie Twister or something. Anyway, good to have a Bomber game to distract me, as there literally is nothing we can do but wait this out and see what happens.

Today was one of these days.

It was cold as **** tonight. The wind was nasty. Getting to my truck and the heated steering wheel was one of the highlights of the night. I don't know enough to know, but to my eyes, Sheehan is a great punter with a lot of different weapons and it's the cover teams that are just ******* awful. I don't know if Miller and Hansen make that much difference, but maybe?? Really would have liked to have seen Brown run more... Ya had chances and just never took off. Prukop on 1st down is just baffling. Ugly as **** win, but I will take absolutely take it and hope they correct things for Montreal next week....

After he outduels the starting QB in a place we couldn't win for 15 years. Even if Dru Brown doesn't take another snap this season he'll have 6 offers on the table to be a starting QB in this league next February.

What a weird and ugly game. Road win with a backup QB sounds good but we are lucky to come out of there with this one. Stunned we just didn't roll Oliveira more. Buck seemingly called the same pass concepts over and over...zone reads with a lead pass catcher out of the backfield...that was tough. Kudos to the defense for winning the game.

It's really funny how this past week we've been wringing our hands about how good Dru Brown is and how we can't afford to keep him after this year and he's gonna be a star someplace else...yada yada. Now there's talk about him being terrible and we should have kept Pigrome.... Oi.

Brown looked a bit overwhelmed at times when things got bogged down... really should have just went full on run heavy and buried the stamps on the ground. They could have done it because calgary isn't good enough to stop it.
