  4. HH to the equipment guy for finally using the gold pants at home. Blue Bombers: not just best team, but also best looking team.

  5. I'm still angry about the Crumming we received a few weeks ago that attempted to ruin a great weekend I was having, BUT... if they can take down these losers, I'll be on the road to forgiveness...

  7. Nice job by Lemon getting the Int, but then he runs in the wrong direction trying to gain yardage. Lol

  8. It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong. - Thomas Sowell

  9. Did Marshall Ferguson really just say that Crum will be playing in the loudest building in the CFL, does the water in Regina make people say stupid things.

  10. Thanks for the feedback guys. It was just something I thought I'd throw out there, to see what happens.

  11. It's the same refs. That's where the CFL refs come from. In the past two seasons they've fast tracked a bunch of refs. I see guys/women who were working WHSFL games I was coaching last year working the lines in the CFL. Many of these people haven't even officiated football for 5 years at any level. They weren't good amateur refs. One particular rookie official I see in the CFL this year could never understand that we had 7 guys on the line if the guy covering the tackle on his side of the field wasn't a wideout, if we used a tight end or had a bunch formation he'd constantly **** it up and call us for No End....even when the guy on the line CHECKED IN WITH HIM! I see a lot of missed offsides, early movement in the CFL this year. That's where they have stationed the rookie refs, side judge, line judge. They've kept the vet officials at back judge, head linesman, umpire. There's a massive shortage of officials. One thing they really need to do is clarify the role of the replay official. If they want to review every play and buzz down if necessary, do that. But why are there some plays where they are buzzing down with a flag to throw and then nothing on other plays with obvious offsides for example?

  12. Crum reads absolutely nothing pre-snap. His eyes are on the centre's butthole.

  13. Don't know if Ottawa receivers just can't get open or if Crum is not seeing things, but it feels like he's really quick to tuck it and run...

  17. Football I would NEVER want less.... Hockey, absolutely. They could kill 20 games from the NHL season and I'd be very happy. But I can never get enough CFL.

  18. Always the same arguments on both sides. Lol. How many times we gonna have this discussion? Not just here, but in general. My opinion: I'm in favour of playing cold weather football outside. I love attending those games and think Canadians should embrace that kind of weather more. And honestly, it's not even that cold.... The 2021/2022 playoff games were cold, but were also wicked fun.

  19. Helluva athlete was Gerry James.....the guy lived football and to some extent hockey.....I remember Grant not being too happy with his signing with the Leafs in the offseason ....but just looked the other way when hockey season rolled around....Youngest player at 17 to play in the CFL....I believe James is still playing golf somewhere on Vancouver Island and doing well

  22. Could be. Wolitarsky was a yard back as well covering the tackle. Either way bullshit call if the line judge can't make it on the field or it's not challenged by the coach. If they are going to do that they need to review every play immediately. Standard is usually front toe for a tackle at the back of the football. They are never on the LOS.

  30. To be fair, Taylor was playing well right up to his injury. And at that age, and with the other guys on the roster, it's understandable why the Bombers did t bring him back.

  33. 1. I don't see why this would happen. Why would more people go to games? 2. You can do this anyway? 3. This may add a couple of thousand people over 5 total games - with no increase to TV numbers. You're going to sacrifice 100's of thousands of people over multiple weeks of missed games and lose TV dollars.

    Proposed Annual CFL Schedule

And that's a place where they absolutely could/should. Play-offs are two months long and into the summer. I can't hold interest for that long. Craziness. But they won't, because games = money.

  35. I'd say he's currently the front runner for a 3 peat MOP. 16/5 ratio, leads in YPG, yards. He's at a pace for another career year. Collaros will definitely be a ring of honor name as well.

  36. I'd like to hear how you can "maximize revenue" that makes up for 3 games of attendance, concessions, and TV revenue. The NFL is adding games for this reason. And again, I don't know why anyone would want less games. I certainly don't.

  38. Houston has been amazing this year… Nichols is probably still the top dog in our secondary but Houston isn’t far behind. I think we all agree 7 linemen would be ideal but you know it can’t be done without those three you mentioned… best case with our current roster is Jeff-Lawson-Walker-Jeff with Thomas/Bennett, Hansen, and Haba/Fox rotating in

  44. I dunno, maybe Harris has just fallen off a bit more this year. He's barely had the opportunity mind you. But it's odd they aren't using him more imo.

  45. It was a pretty ticky tack call. When a penalty like that is called I think it's garbage. Had no effect whatsoever on the play and is pretty subjective imo. Lean your head and you see it differently? Don't call it. Just a flag happy official imo.

  46. Kill Saskatchewan because I couldn't possibly live in that place for the rest of my life, F** Toronto because it will be exciting to visit for a short period of time but would then get old quick, Marry BC because it's hippyville and nice weather and can coast for the rest of my life in peace and quiet.

  48. Most importantly in November it’s drier. If it’s windy, cloudy and 10-15 degrees at the end of May it’s absolutely miserable and no one wants to be outside.

  49. I don't care for the mandatory bye-week for all teams. The CFL can't afford to lose momentum and taking a week off in the middle of the season would do just that.
