Wow. Kyrie Wilson is so injured that he skipped practice twice.

Kenny Lawler will be 29 by the time training camp opens up. If he couldn’t make it at 27 leading the league in receiving he won’t be going down south pushing 30 after an injury plagued year. Seems like an excuse for when Edmonton loses him ( hopefully back to Winnipeg) they can say oh well we thought he’d gather NFL looks we decided to move in a different direction.

I want Ellingson out there playing as much as possible. If he gets nicked up and can't play in the WF, so be it. I would rather he not start the WF then get injured in it, having to replace him in-game. Better to have his replacement taking all the reps in practice.

I disagree completely. 1) If he's healthy, you play him. period. 2) I'd rather not play someone in the play-offs who hasn't taken a snap in 10 weeks (or longer). You shake the rust off in a meaningless game so you don't have miscues when it does matter.

Youtube user Waders27 has been uploading great career highlight videos from recent Bomber players. He just got to a couple of my favorites: Go to 6:48 to see Leggett's ridonkulous game against BC, with a clutch goal-line tackle and a pick return that featured like nine separate bomber defenders throwing blocks, some great team play there, pure Mike O'Shea team-first football. J-Lo was Terrance Edwards like guy in that he rarely played on winning teams but he always gave the fans something to cheer about. His 1-yard-line strip of Chris Williams at 3:11 is pure sweetness. check out how he makes up 10 yards on Williams from the 35 in. One of my favorite Bomber plays of any era. anyway, great memories there, check it out and thank him for his work.

Echoing the what others are saying. Guys need to get on the field and in sync with their teammates and play calls. I’m sure he’s been in all the meetings and film room, but game speed elite is rarely at the flip-of-the-switch. Not the same timeframe but BA also taken three-four weeks to get his legs under him, as well as get used to guys like Holm, Parker, and now Lawrence etc.

Only worth it if you get to see the Bombers 3-peat and celebrate in the Rider locker room.

I don't expect CD or JOD back in Sask next year, however I don't think they get canned until after the Grey Cup. If they weren't the host team likely relieved of duties on Sunday but the team likely needs them in town for Grey Cup week. Would really be a shitty position to be in but those two totally deserve the long drawn out process.

There is a myth that Jones can keep problematic players in check, but the Elks are examples that whatever he does is strictly short-term if/when it works. Jones is much like Tororella in the NHL who, except for one season cannot sustain a competitive team for long. Had Jones stayed in Regina, the outcome would have been the same sort of mess we see there now, differing only in detail.

Blows my mind that for most of the season they started more NATs than necessary, but never even once gave a thought to dressing 3 IMPs on the OL. Just terrible coaching and management.

Which is just stupid because this isn't anywhere close to the worst rider team... it's just that rider fans so deluded themselves into believing their team was better than it is. They feel the team was better so it must be something bad to have this kind of season. Everything we said about that team here came to pass... rider fans didn't want to hear it though. Objectively this is probably right where the riders should be... bubble playoff team.

I rarely agree with Jeff Hamilton takes, but boy howdy I'm on board here.... They've needed a stretch in the wilderness for awhile. Thin out their ranks and make them re think their importance to the league.

I love this show so much! I bought DVD box sets of Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Augie Doggie and Bugs Bunny to make sure my kids were raised right. They turned out to be very funny people.
