  1. Yeah...12 and 2...should be 13 and 1...we dont know all who is knicked as it's never stated...buy obviously a couple defense guys are and are playing through it...part of a season and hardly concerning...the concerning part is the lack of new blood being brought in...and like I said for yrs the one ***** in Osheas armour which is odd roster management and ratio use...as others have said. You have a few guys on roster who dont get a chance...Harrison...Cooper...Cole...if they not good enough to.take reps or sub in...then replace them...same with Ford...try him ar halfback or corner...he's played Canadian ball...is a burner...and he's physical....same with Hassell...give him a shot...dudes 27...basically a veteran baller and an insane athlete...rotate him with Holm...see what u got..I'd rather see him out there over a right outta college kid....sure some times u get an Alford...but he ain't no Alford...and never will be Said all along the loss of Kongbo...and then Wilson is a tough thing to replace...then Hansen going down didnt help when we dont replace him with another end...our dlineman aft Jeffcoat went down played whole damn second half of game. Fortunately he must not been too bad as he stayed full equipment on sideline till the end. Bonus is we can ***** and moan about things when it's hardly panic time...I'm sure the coaches will sort it out... but we definately have tested and used up our depth

  2. Defensive turnovers are way down from previous years as well, not enough DB's with the experience and skill to jump pass routes.

  3. 2 rookies on the same side of the secondary (and far down the depth chart at that) backup special teams starting at one linebacker spot because of injuries, one of the star defensive ends playing hurt and didn't finish the game, safety back for the first time in almost a year.... yeah I'd say the biggest issue was the injuries. There are some thing though that have been needing addressed all year though. Stove was never replaced on the DL and that presence is missed . Bottom line the guys in the secondary need to be better. Whether it is the guys playing being better or new guys getting the chance. One or two stops in the first half that game might have been a winnable one.

  4. A Richie Hall D requires consistent pressure. Last year, they had more outstanding talent in the backfield, to make up for lapses in pressure.

  5. Hard to judge Alexander this early. Rose is mostly playing the field, some variation brings him inside because Hamilton runs funky run-and-shoot stuff, but still got burned deep. That was inexcusable, and on a play when the rush was in Evans face. Rose was getting ready to run up there and celebrate a sack, his feet stopped and he was watching the backfield. Not many positive plays for him in this game. I expect the trouble with the medium-underneath stuff vs a scheme like Hamilton's if the QB is accurate, you can't really cover their 3 man (4 man with the fullback and put that doubt in the Bombers D early) route combinations you have to guess so there's often going to be a guy who is "wide-open" but it's on the QB to read that half of the field post snap. Or you run more zone stuff to challenge the QB and risk getting beat deep (ultimately what I would prefer to do vs run-and-shoot in a vacuum). Theoretically if you have any pass rush that's how you defend that offensive scheme. We didn't have that. Parker is playing the boundary which is quite often the hot seat where Dunbar is. He didn't get beat deep which is his job. If there wasn't a total defensive collapse his day would be fine. Going to give up some first downs. Holm was the only DB who came up and made plays on the ball. I feel like Nichols will be playing a lot more of a deep half that Taylor played with the safety with Taylor out, looked that way today. The big plays to the tight end we'll never know who's fault that is without knowing the scheme/call exactly on each play. The backers key looked to be run and then drop to crossers. Both those big plays were wheel routes behind a trips formation, one was backside crosser to seam. Some teams would cross their halfback with a SAM if they like the matchup better on a certain slot, some teams would prefer the halfback stay on the receiver and the SAM take the guy who is usually a blocker with a run key too. None of the 4 DB's (including SAM) on the side of the field where that route ended up took the deep routes by 38 for Hamilton. A big thing is that it's not really going to help to keep moving guys in and out, around the field. 4 games left, maybe try someone new next game but would be nice to let a group in the secondary play out the season to develop some familiarity and chemistry for playoffs. He's had fumbles like that almost weekly unfortunately.

  6. Calgary 0-5 vs Winnipeg and BC BC wins both games in Calgary by a combined 3 points. Calgary 3 games back of BC, 4 games back of Bombers factoring in tiebreakers. BC and Winnipeg will be hosting West playoff games.

  7. If Evans wants to talk about his mental health struggles, that's awesome and as dudes, we need to do it more. But it's not on TSN to do it unless he told them to. But again, especially in a sport with fans who are largely dudes, mental health should be talked about more.

  8. I would think so...we playing so passive and soft with the 2 rookies in there...we have the luxury of testing and tinkering in game...we should be using it...and Osh says all guys on roster are starter quality...well the prove it and use them

  9. Thank you for your service. That's a hell of a thing to have gone through. Love the comparison to old Bombers games.

  10. Was at the game in Hamilton. Ofc I travel halfway across the country and the team plays their worst game in 4 years. TBH, the Ticat fan mood reminded me of having season tickets in the 90s when we’d randomly tune in Montreal or someone on the way to a 4-14 year. My concern (other than the injuries guys coming back) is the interior of both lines, especially on D. They didn’t really bring in a true NT to replace Stove and it’s costing big time. They rotate 3 smallish DTs through who consistently fail to push the pocket. Contrast to ZC getting 2 guys up the middle in his face on every passing play. Neufeld in particular is getting pushed around a lot.

  11. By losing to Hamilton we have now made it a bit harder for Saskatchewan to cross over. That’s the only silver lining I can take from this one. Hopefully this thought can help some of you feel better about today as well.

  12. 1 schoen tried to carry us 2 Sheed tremendous effort again 3 Brady and boo great efforts and production hh that this game ended. Burn the tape get healthy and bring in some air lifts during the by week. A loss isn’t a surprise. After a blow out before a buy on the road with nothing to gain vs a team fighting for life. But the way it happened is gross.

The sky is not falling because of that miss step in Ham.....I think we've become a spoiled lot and expect the club to be perfect and a winner every game....ain't gonna happen....Certainly we could have had a better showing in Ham. but they came to play...we didn't...When you have had the kind of successes we've had in recent times people begin to 'expect' the best....sometimes it comes off the rails....I don't think we'll make a habit of it ....IF we do down the stretch, it won't bode well for the playoffs...We're better than that especially if and when we make a few tweaks and get a few players back off of the 6 game

  14. That's what happens when a bend don't break defence has a bad day. It becomes a bend and break defence. Nothing to see here unless it happens again next game, then we'd have a problem.

  16. Holm is like the third-worst DB we had on the field today, which also makes him the third-best. Sayles is fine but clearly had no ability to get around the edge. Unbelievable to me that we have a DE dressed that we wouldn't even give a single rep to, even when we're down 4 scores.

  17. Again - the only one who could have shared that information is Dane himself. If he wanted it a secret, it would have been.

  18. Yup...the next few weeks guys will become available...and we been awfully quiet...so maybe we are in a wait and see with some guys 2 byes coming up...4 games to tinker...much like 2019....we good...on a diff note Schoen is 12 yards shy of 1000 and Brady needs 243 to get 1000...

  19. We do need a bigtime DT....it would help out Sayles bigtime as heavy use of Thomas is hurting us.

  28. The Bombers have been amazingly successful with their "next guy up", "plug and play" replacement scheme for the last 2 years. With so many injuries to the LB and DB groups this season, the replacement system is breaking down and at times failing. They need an influx of new bodies injected into their bloodstream to rejuvenate their depth and push competition for starting jobs to a higher level. Players they find this year will compensate for players they lose in F.A. next year.

  29. Worth adding- it was hot as f*ck for most of the game, kind of adds to the question of why some spots didn’t see more rotation. Bottom line though, they had a stinker out east. Coaching, players, all around. It happens. They’re still 12-2. I’m confident they’ll show up for the big games.

  30. Lol 12 and 2 and people are going insane. It's not shocking that more people are around after a loss... it's sad actually. Like really sad that some folks appear to only be happy when we lose. Crazy. Maybe we lost cuz 2 many of you masturbate

  44. The new DBs got torched today. We need some new guys and/or time. The good news is we have time to get them up to speed or find help I think most days they get it right. Not going for 2 was confusing. I would have. Nobody pays me for my decision though.
