  2. It's nothing against Ed whatsoever, he's great. It's just that I remember the days when he didn't work for the club and we used to get a less "measured" report out of him and then we also had DB, Irving and a couple other guys pitching in with their observations while Paul Friesen sat around suntanning and pretending to look deep in thought under his floppy sun hat. The Bombers reports are definitely more of the "this is what we want you to know about" variety and that's great, but I miss the seasons past when we used to hear about everything under the sun minus the playbook coming from our camp reporters. I'm going to throw out an early prediction and say 9.

Nothing so far-fetched if you accept the concept of "prisons for profit", adding "orphanages for profit" just improves the vertical integration of business, cuts down costs and helps maximize profit. I believe there are people who would gladly re-introduce "slavery for profit", if they could find a way to do it without using the word "slavery".

  10. Sounds like Liam Dobsen was passed over in Chicago Bears mini-camp. The bears signed 6 undrafted free agents from their rookie mini-camp including one offensive lineman but not Dobsen. Assuming nothing has changed he should currently be in Saints mini camp. I would imagine that within 3 days or so we should know if he's been offered a contract.

"Asked whether the panel is prepared to hold the GOP lawmakers in contempt if they refuse to comply with the subpoenas, member Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) told The Washington Post, "I'm not going there." "I've got to believe," he added, "that every member of Congress will want to do his or her legal duty and patriotic duty to participate in an investigation into an attack on our own institution and an attack on the political institutions in the United States."" This is the the main Democrat speaking. His head is in the clouds.

  16. Per Ed Tait when he did a deep dive into all the numbers worn by players: https://www.bluebombers.com/blue-by-the-numbers/ The Bombers haven’t formally retired numbers, but the following are officially no longer available to players: 11 – Worn by hall of famer Ken Ploen, the face of this franchise during his playing days from 1957-67 and later into his retirement. Ploen also wore 89, as did many players of that era who played both sides of the ball. 28 – Jeff Nicklin was a decorated Bomber from 1934-40 before becoming a decorated soldier in World War II, passing away on the battlefield in 1945. The winner of the Most Outstanding Player Award in the West Division is annually presented with the Jeff Nicklin Memorial Trophy. 75 – As a tribute to Tommy Lumsden, who played end, defensive end, tackle and guard for the Bombers from 1951-54 but passed away at the age of 25 in a Winnipeg hospital while suffering a gall bladder attack near Beausejour. The Tommy Lumsden Trophy is presented annually to the Bombers’ top Canadian player.

Why does Raskin think that the people whom participated in a plot to overthrow his government... will do " their patriotic duty" ? Why would a person like him say something that preposterous? Nancy Pelosi rules of engagement. she is bad for Democracy. I am having trouble Managing the daily inflow of complete world wide insanity.

Somewhat off topic but consistent with recent farming theme. There are 8 entries, if you follow the thread. Nothing remarkable, in terms of farming, but a bit of insight into cattle farming almost a hundred years ago.

On Thursday, May, 12, The Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed they hit the Vsevolod Bobrov, a Project 23120 logistics Russian ship. Serhiy Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Ukraine, reported on Telegram that the Russian ship was hit, damaged and set on fire as a result of a Ukrainian strike, as reported by Ukrinform. “As a result of the actions of our Navy, the Vsevolod Bobrov logistics ship, one of the newest in the Russian fleet, set on fire. They say she is limping toward Sevastopol,” Bratchuk said

Lowry anywhere under 5m is a deal, IMO. That guy is an all-hustle leader. Every single team wants a guy like that. They're definitely not overpaying him.

  40. I remember telling my dad on the way to that game, for absolutely no reason at all, that Greg Carr was the next great Bomber receiver. Then he had like 2 catches for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns at half before his leg exploded and he missed the rest of the game and I thought I was a genius. I think 21 year old me just kept hoping we were going to find the next Milt Stegall, I even had a Jeffers-Harris jersey. 😆
