  1. Rose too. Walters clearly reads this board and knew of our restlessness. All I can say after Woli+Couture+Rose in one day is:

  2. O'Day sat CoFaj down and started by saying "Cody, regarding your contract, we need to move the goal posts" and he agreed immediately.

  4. I don't see Bailey going anywhere...A teams interest in a player doesnt equate to the players interest in leaving somewhere that he is establishing himself, and loves for that matter...And in all honesty...what receiver in his right mind would head on down to Ottawa and that mess right now?...I can't think of any reason Bailey is probably one of the most extreme guys in regards to loyalty...brotherhood and love of his team...teammates and the chance he was given.....He's the last guy I would worry about as to leaving that locker room for a few extra bucks somewhere else...especially a team with next to no chance of any playoff appearance

  10. Yup. Greatest ever. End of discussion. People always argue Allen Pitts. He was great, no doubt, but lets look at his quarterbacks: Danny Barrett 1990-1991 Doug Flutie 1992-1995 Jeff Garcia 1994-1998 Dave Dickenson 1998-2000 Jesus H Christ. Those guys would have turned Woody Allen into a HOF receiver. Milt would have hit 2000 yards every friggin' season with one arm tied behind his back.

They not only want the choice for their own body, which they've ALWAYS had, but they also want to impose their choice on everyone else and put everyone else at risk. The worst people.

  14. Saw a video of from the city councilor for Point Douglas supporting the convoy. One of her main points was that EVERYONE should be able to have a choice when it comes to their body. I'm not sure I understand these people anymore...who doesn't have a choice? Are there literal mobs running around and holding others down to be vaxxed? Am I not aware of military forces holding people in custody until they are vaxxed? What am I missing?

That's hilarious. The whole convoy is just a hilarious self-own. They don't understand the basics of how our gov't functions. To say that they were just a bunch of ignorant racists probably does a disservice to the level of ineptitude of this klan.

  16. A couple of comments from someone who votes conservative occasionally : I view this as political suicide. They are ignoring one huge fact. This country is %85 vaxxxed. That %85 will generally be disgusted by the support many PCs are giving to the idiot convoy. They will be pleasing the part of the nation that votes for them no matter what they do. They will be angering the part ( %85 ) of the nation that they need to convince to vote them into power. I can hear the Liberals giggling from here. I often heard people complain that Harper was to controlling. That everything the party did in his time needed to cross his desk and get his stamp of approval. I bet O'Toole wishes he had that kind of control. Aside from the afore mentioned political astuteness or lack thereof, I find the reaction of the PC's disgusting. Not only the support of the vocal ones but the deathly silence of the rest. The PCs challenge is always to appeal to moderate voters. It's the only way they will ever attain power. What's going on now will set their party back to the days of the Reform Party.

  20. We talk about how good his MVP season was in 02 but he averaged 23 yards per reception for over 1100 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2005 with guys like Tee Martin at QB. He had 53 catches that season with 17 touchdown meaning essentially every third catch was guaranteed taking it to the house.

  21. I would still love to have him back. He was so good in the middle. I thought our whole defense suffered a noticeable drop off when he was out injured. They were still great but he made them that much better.

I'm really concerned about Canada heading toward a Trump era. Everyone laughs at these Ottawa lunatics, but... Everyone laughed about Trump, too, and said it'd never happen. If we don't take them seriously, these hard right cons are going to get into power and tear apart the country....

Our best hope lies in the decent, concerned politicians both presenting a united front against the neo-Nazi movement and vigorously prosecuting any and all who commit or advocate violence. The American example unfolding now is a frightening demonstration of how badly things can go. All that is necessary for evil to triumph is that good people remain silent.

Probably, and that will relegate the PCs to the back benches for another 5 years, and his replacement will experience the same fate. I am surprised that he lasted this long.

Conservative caucus revolt triggers vote on Erin O'Toole's leadership John Paul Tasker · CBC News · Posted: Jan 31, 2022 8:31 PM ET | Last Updated: 1 hour ago Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole is facing an internal revolt and some members of his caucus are prepared to trigger a vote on his future as early as Wednesday, sources told CBC News. MPs opposed to O'Toole's leadership have collected enough signatures — 35 have signed on to the effort so far — to hold a secret ballot to decide his fate, sources said. A vote by 50 per cent plus one of the 119 sitting Conservative MPs calling on O'Toole to step down would force him to make way for an interim leader immediately. Conservative post-election report says O'Toole was 'over-managed' during the campaign. Sources tell CBC News that O'Toole's caucus opponents believe they have the necessary votes, with at least 60 MPs agreeing that he has to go.

My feet were planted straight and I jumped and twisted to my right and felt the POP in my left knee. I'm out with a LBI,doctor says it'll be for the foreseeable few months but I should be back by training camp.
