For all of our complaints, we have to give Walters credit on the Brown deal. Excellent move considering Zach is on the 6 and what has happened in BC and Hamilton.

Again, the Walters timing of trading for Dru is crazy.

Well the trade for collaros was pretty timely too. Bottom line: proactive Kyle Walters is the best Kyle Walters.

He said give Walters credit for the Brown deal. Walters closed the deal.

First Bo, now Rourke. Not good for the league when quality QBs go down. As @SpeedFlex27 has said repeatedly, keep Zach and Dru.

This is the exact kind of braindead non-sequitur I've been surfing here for over a quarter century for. Satisfied for another day.

We should also thank Dinwiddie for being stupid enough to trade his best QB. Both Walters and Dinwiddie may have saved our season. Good thing Dru wanted Winnipeg as well, so I guess MOS also deserves some credit. We didn't sit on our thumbs and not seize the opportunity to upgrade, and that is something that gives me continued hope in the trinity.

Truth. With out the brown move, we’d a lost last and likely be cruising at the bottom of the league till zach came back. While possibly ruining TE by forcing him to start too soon.

Hope they aren’t real 6 games and will be pulled off early

Thats a pretty telling reaction. What other team can have their starting quarterback placed on the 6 game list and fans are more concerned about a Canadian lineman?

4 for 58 last week. I think that’s perfectly fine. He caught all four of his targets. I think if anything he needs more passes thrown his way, but I can understand.. new team, new OC, two quarterbacks, hard to find your groove

Hopefully Dru rips Ottawa a new one.

Dickie Dee loses it at least once a game. Also never enough challenge flags when he is coaching a game.

Calgary getting stomped.

Walters looks like a genius for sure. He waited any longer that whole thing becomes a lot harder to pull off

Most fortunate timing of a trade in Bomber history?

Timing couldn't have been better..another week and he'd be in Hamilton right now From my understanding Brown made it known to ott management that winnipeg was where he wanted to go...so Ottawa worked with Kyle and got it done Yup..I think also even with ZC we may have lost more than we should have too...Brown i think gives us a better offence...hes not a rookie..has basically seen it all now and isnt a sitting duck in pocket...and also doesn't panic like ZC does now

yea because one freak knee injury and a hip injury of unknown length over 6 years makes one injury prone. Other wise he’s played 14/14, 18/18, 15/18 16/18, and 5 of 6 as of game day this week. So out side of the knee injury he’s missed 5 of 68 games.

I'm fine with Collaros being on the 6 game. Let Dru/Elgersma/Perkins cook. If Dru gets knicked up in the next 5 games (retroactive 6 game i'm assuming), then take Collaros off. But otherwise we get some juicy cap savings.

yup...Suitor basically adds nothing that just the average fan can see anyway as well Willson I like...has good insight...will actually tell you tha whats and why's and ins and outs

Also note that, we're only starting 7 Canadians this week. Yep. Both are in 6-gamer.

Finding someone by doing that method like a wing & a prayer will take years. They can do what they ant with the end zones & 55 yards line just leave the goalposts where they are so the risk of a run back for a TD is still in play. Whether or not the Commissioner's favourite team lost a Grey Cup on a wide FG return. Which is a stupid reason to get rid of it.

I don't understand the dislike of Dustins play by play. Hes not annoying, he's lively, one of the better analysts for CFL on Tsn.

If you have a neck injury from a hit, you can damn near bet that you also have a concussion. If you have a history of recurring concussions, 100% got one. In jiujitsu, they have a saying: everything above the shoulders is the head. Thats why the targeting are for high hits are shoulders down vs neck up. 100%.

Gotta be the ultimate guessing game as to when the "Replay Centre" will intervene on their own or not. Calgary was way offside on their late 3rd down stop that led to the tying TD. Sometimes that's reviewed, sometimes not. All turnovers and scoring plays are supposed to be reviewed but Maas had to throw his flag to get the spot looked at on the 3rd down turnover. Hard to look at this league as anything but bush until stuff like this is remedied. Either go to a system where all plays are reviewed or stick to only reviews coming from coaches and scoring plays.

Dickie losing his **** after that huge hit by Sapp on Theis gets penalized

I predict that a Philpott is going to win today. Bold prediction I know.

Ottawa inquired on the Bombers first and Walters closed the deal right away to not give other teams chance to go to the trade table and offer more.

I mentioned that during TC that Lawson is injury prone. Someone here blasted me.

Btw good thing we acted fast on the Brown trade. I think teams like Hamilton and BC would be all in if he was still available, and likely give up more in return.

I think this is so important. It could very well just be paperwork transactions.

Fans who pay attention. Bomber fans. We are unique.

Same. I don’t dislike him, but it feels like he tries too hard sometimes. He’s still fairly new at it so I’m sure he’ll keep getting better. I like listening to him on sports shows and think he’s pretty good in the booth. I wish he didn’t act like an ******* on social media though. Overall I think he’s been good for the league.

Yeah but the Bombers acted fast when he became available. Walters knew he screwed up the first time. Brown is a lifetime Bomber now. He isn't going anywhere unless he plays badly. Which I doubt he will. Admittedly, we got lucky but in the Bomber defense they made the decision to reacquire Brown quickly. They know another team would have wanted him. Our timing after last night with the Rourke injury was impeccable. The football gods were smiling upon us.

Gotta admit- Esks have a pretty good defence.

4 picks and only a 9 point lead. BC is lucky their defense has shown up.

Wasn't that a story in one of our Grey Cup losses?

Nielson is not a good announcer. I hate to admit it but Wilson is not a bad cc.

Which one? Tyson Philpot, Mtl. for me.

Lawson being doubtful is a concern.

I'd be happy if Ottawa goes 0-18 just because Dinwiddie comes across as a giant ******.

Agree on both investing in the Ops cap and grassroots football.

Me, in my head, not being truthful with myself, reacting to being called little buddy Okay that's enough. I'm showing myself out. p.s. Argos suck

I don't know him personally so I don't know if he has the self-awarness and/or humility to do so. Live shot of me walking to the computer to share one of them.

An early Frost is never a good thing.

I don't know what Dolegala scored in his Wonderlic but I think it would be somewhere in the neighborhood and equivalent of 'mentally challenged'...and their coach mirrors that

You can be concussed with no head impact whatsoever... If your body is suddenly stopped with force...your brain doesn't stop, but slams into your skull with force and speed you were moving. Thats why the use of those foam helmet covers is pointless...unless you get a direct and sever head shot correct...or an actual head shot....momentum of brain moving inside skull and slamming around is the main culprit....a guy running and getting a totally clean shot to the chest with a shoulder, stopping him cold can get you concussed...even without head hitting turf when the guy hits the ground
