3 years. 290 k this upcoming year. Yeah it’s a lot but for one of the very best players in the league in the prime of his career and a home town hero to boot. It’s a no brainer, especially with the rising cap. I would take Brady at 290 over Keon Hatchers at 330k any day of the week.

I don't see how out of all of our players this guy couldn't qualify for the marketing money. I'd hope a good chunk is covered for marketing. 3 years for a guy in his prime that has "pardon the pun" carried the team over the last two seasons. Great signing.

I sure hope there is a ton of marketing money being used on that contract.

Demski next please. this is a great sign that change is occurring as Brady made it known that he wanted to win I mean $$$ but he wanted to win so him not even testing free agency like was rumoured, great sign change is happening.

I'd really like some clarity around where the cap is currently.... Also, this team can very much afford to spend past the cap. Don't go crazy, but ******* do it!!

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was tied to gambling. Lots of stories of athletes getting threats because some ******* missed his parlay.

I like Brady and am happy he is back. Plus you have to keep your talent and he's our best offensive player and best Canadian.

It's a lot of money to be sure but it had to be done. I also expect the salary cap will be going up again this off season so there'll be wiggle room to afford Brady. Imagine the President, GM & HC all come back & Brady leaves? The optics would be so bad. I applaud Walters for getting it done. Credit where credit is due.

That is alot of money....hopefully marketing money takes a bite outta it, but So far I like the signings two of the three have been CDN and the 3rd a young guy with tons of potential...

Yup, athletes and officials have seen a huge increase in that sort of thing as betting has become a more mainstream part of sports.

The gd Randy Ambrosie hangover continues. Two things needing to change should have been a priority . Get rid of the coaching/admin cap & axing the rookie salary cap. Our Commish should have swept the closet out of everything Ambrosie did & get back to actually running the league. Instead of worrying about rule changes for US expansion. I actually curled against Stoughton twice & beat him twice. As a lead on both teams. I guess I can hang my hat on that.

Hey, I used to be a pretty good club curler but it's sad that no phone call came for me to play with the pros. I finally realized it never would. I wasted a decade after juniors chasing that dream. There's a big difference between a 65-70% curler & someone who consistently throws 80 plus per cent. I'd say by now that the "SeeThe US NFL Tour" is getting a little tiring. Elgersma's basing his future on a very good East-West Shrine Game practice week & performance as well as a few practices in the NFL. He did okay when he played but he wasn't lights out like he needed to be., Every play. Every practice. Every play. Every game. It's almost an impossible task for an undrafted free agent. He should be getting the message by now. Even if he gets on a PR, he'll never play.

No idea how long he can go with out a deal financially. Kid is very talented and performed well in pre season. Hes deserving of a shot, but who knows if it’ll come. If he gets or time down south that’d be great for him. If he gets another nfl camp that too would be great for him. A camp here would be good, the ufl if they let him play would even be good between nfl tcs. Really as long as he is active and gets coaching and practice / tc he will be in good shape. I hope he doesn’t end up waiting for calls that don’t come. I also hope he is actively working with a great qb coach right now to continue his growth.

yep, you never know when a guys rope will run out as a tc body / pr arm. Some guys fall through fast others like mbt hang around forever. Ufl might make more sense between nfl seasons if he continues to get interest but not an offer.

Ford got a good look signing here...and playing soley ST save for one start at end of yr If u have legit talent..it was known before u were draft eligible and would get if not a PR spot...or numerous workouts to possibly get one...when u get no tire kicking...especially a Canadian.. undrafted...from a Canadian university...u need to realize a few things...and there's always next yr if u do anything...even 1 thing that scouts like, you are gonna get nibbles...they are always watching..my opinion he got bad council from whoever is in his camp

I think whomever is planting their flag in the ground and saying "it's all this guys fault" is incredibly short sighted. I wish I could live in a world where everything was so black and white. To go from where we were at a few short seasons ago to where we are now, multiple guys get to wear the horns. Even acknowledging all of that, we are an organization that's enjoyed an unparalleled level of success (on and off the field) these last several years.

Oliviera is highly marketable which is a big part of the $$$ coming at him from everywhere. Ask your wife.
