What a great last few minutes. Riders lose, Jets win, Leafs lose. Bomber win earlier, great day.

I like to rag on Sheehan...I'll use his name and not punter for this but lost in the win on that winning field goal was him coralling that low bad snap that hit the turf in front of him and getting it pinned to not screw Castillos timing on the kick...huge play He will now be punter again until he amazes with punts

Our offense was great in that game. Game plan was excellent. Used strength of Montreal D (zone blitz) against them. Collaros had a great game. Lawler needs to make some plays, Wilson was alright, unspectacular. Demski makes some first downs and a big play on a vertical. We don’t have much else at receiver. Bombers consistently brought 6-7 guys inside and burned Als with playaction. They were loaded for run. 2nd half adjustment to just constantly flood half the field tore the Als apart. Only issue was lack of aggression in redzone. Now that might be smart to preserve FG chances, but think you have to give guys chance to make plays. Call some zero read stuff where we basically know where the ball is going coming out of the huddle. Defense was horrible especially vs Fajardo. Only reason they got off the field is if Fajardo missed a throw. A bit more pressure against Alexander who doesn’t move the ball quickly but also burned us on scrambles. They isolated Bonds and our backers and torched them. Bonds really struggled with leverage on Snead, where he wanted/needed to be. They snuck Snead around the field and we could not cover him with anyone, always lose track of him. The only guys on the field who consistently flow to ball on runs/completions are Jones and Holm. Not a fan of Nichols playing deep half/third as much as he did in that game. Basically removed him from the game. Our tackling and recognition are terrible…run a bunch of screens on us we’ll probably give you 20 yards on 2/3 of them.

My honest take on reading everyone, is we are just thrilled about the ridiculous win, and the breath from God. And really, really happy about the Rider misery. I don't think anyone has a lot of confidence in our coaching staff right now and our team, but how can you not have a giant smile on your face as Winnipeg sports fan? Leafs lost. Riders lost Jets won, beating Calgary Bombers beat the Montreal airhorns and clinched the West final **** if I was in Montreal last night I would have dropped 500 at the strippers in celebration

Zach also went over 4000 for the 3rd straight season. I think only Deiter and Khari (4 times) have done that.

Bombers play better when Noeller is in full panic mode

We swept back to backs with both bc and sask... I have a ton of confidence in winning the west final. Problem is we've largely seen this team play like ass against the east.

That was a solid play from the Aussi.

With Kelly at S, and 3 total ni dbs starting, 3 starting ni ol, 2 wrs, and 1 rb we should never see 2 ni dl on the field at the same time. Take Kelly off for an imp and slam in one ni dt for a package 10-15 times a game. Other wise dl should be all imp. Especially when we run 30.

Blue wins first place with: A 3 point lead over the second place team and advantage with winning the season series. A 4 point lead over the third place team and advantage with winning the season series. After losing the first four games, then a record of 2 - 6, and winning 9 of their final 10 games, they earn 1st. And, the loss to Toronto 2 weeks ago, is now irrelevant. IMO, the Bombers might be the hottest team in the league. Each game this year has been meaningful. Not a bad way to host the Western Final.

Truth be told, we have not had even one dominant d-lineman this season, and, sadly, that includes Jefferson. No one on the D-line should be safe in the off-season.

They moved the ball day long. The problem isn't moving the ball, it's scoring tds.

The 61 yarder was short and wide so he would have had to let it bounce to get it into the endzone. Could have bounced any direction so would have been a risk

Yeah this bomber team for the last 5 years has never done anything the easy way. They just had that knack for winning the close games by putting themselves in that position where it was possible. This year the age and lack of depth in places means they're losing more close ones.

Rides fan should be used to seeing the Bombers celebrate in that stadium... so this probably barely registered...

Randy Ambrosie out after the GC. Good. I realize he’s not the only voice in the room, but seriously, what an atrocious commissioner. Terrible public persona, terrible priorities for the league to focus on. The global initiative was a joke and “genius”sports was pathetic. Not to mention nearly killing the league for real with that XFL merger nonsense On field product, attendance and TV ratings all got worse during his tenure. I mean, TSN has just as much as anyone to do with bad ratings and stagnant product, but the earlier points still remain. Ambrosie is a flat out bad commissioner. I’m happy to see him move on. I’d agree, but I didn’t think TSN would make Kelly the face of the league either.. Also, we see it differently but the casual fans have had Pinball shoved down their throats for years as some benevolent CFL father figure.

Jordan younger, because again they kept the opposing team to fewer points than us. 3. Mike O ‘Shea for allowing his subordinates to do their jobs - coach. HH to Wade Miller helping to assemble a remarkable coaching staff to AGAIN host a West Final home game. I'm not really sure where we would be without this coaching ensemble. Absolutely remarkable results.

The bombers should do a give away of 10,000 horns like that for the wf. League will change their tune quick fast and in a hurry.
