I rarely agree with Jeff Hamilton takes, but boy howdy I'm on board here.... They've needed a stretch in the wilderness for awhile. Thin out their ranks and make them re think their importance to the league.

Flagship of failure franchises maybe

I wanted this season so badly for their fan base. They needed this in the worst way. Start to thin out all those jagoffs who jumped aboard the wagon in 07. They need a good long stretch in the wilderness, and I'm here for it.

Our only guy that we could lose is Goviea...and I doubt he would go there...somewhere else maybe... but not sure where else is looking for a new GM and that could be stretch any way...

Out of all the guys that have been out long term, the one i desperately want back is Kyrie Wilson. But the fact that he hasnt even begun to practice yet gives me very little hope.

Outside of a few years they have been perpetual failures

Elks will be fine once they turn the wins around..there a good fanbase there..they just sick of the losses...they have financial resources tucked away to weather the storm. Not to worried about Ott either.. they have dedicated fans who stood by them through the Lapo failure..and strong ownership group...they be fine...same with Hamilton....I also not too worried about MTl...and if they become a big winner again crowds also come T.O is T.O and I dont even think of them much...is what it is B.C has figured things out..I expect next yr too as being even better for them and attendence rise. Cslgary needs to put more effort into things.. but they need to get with the times So sask can keep sucking

Went to RF.com for the first time in years and this is my favourite line so far: I would've bet any money 6 games ago we'd be in the playoffs (crossover at least) and walking through the East to the Grey Cup...

So if the Riders give up 2 more they set a record for sacks given up, correct? I personally am fine with no post season for them. I think they need to extend O'Day and CD and make Fajardo the CFL's highest paid QB.

Don’t forget… they were considered “all in” this year for a home grey cup… they believed coming into this season that the team they fielded this year was capable of winning it all 😂

So Morrissey checks a guy playing the puck and gets a penalty and has to fight for hitting cleanly, Perfetti gets cross-checked in the back into the dasher board, and nothing. Maybe he should have faked an injury. I don’t blame refs often for losses, but that is garbage. Tired of teams looking to avenge hard, clean hits with a scrap. Would love to see an instigator and a game misconduct for that stuff.
