  9. I think BLM, even at his best right now, is done. And tonight I'm sure he's coming back at less than 100% (whatever his 100% is right now...) so this should be a RBs win (finally not in OT, I'd bet...)

  10. It would be nice to see a breakdown of everyones contract in the league because what they paid him doesn't seem like its very far off from what most teams are paying veteran above average talents.

Can't believe I'm posting this on a football message board..... Barbie is really good. Very clever script, excellent cinematography and great acting. I didn't get the fuss with Ladybird, but Greta Gerwig did an amazing job with this. Helen Mirren as the narrator is a big bonus. Believe the word of mouth.

  12. I'm still doing week one: Hero: Jean Bealiveau. As a kid, I liked reading books about the olden days of hockey. Les Gros Bill was pure skill and pure class. Today: none Let Down: Charles Roberts / Tom Canada - off field behaviour Original villain/current: Dave Dickenson - he seems to make sure his whining is heard CFL is the only pro sport I still watch, in case that isn't obvious

  13. Crum will play until he gets hurt & he will with that Damn The Torpedoes running style the rookie is using. We've all seen this song & dance before from other rookie qbs. He can run for sure but he still needs to play a style of game that protects him as much as he can from getting injured.

  14. I see they're bringing John Murphy back next season, I suspect he never really left and has been contracting all along, probably keeping a low profile working from a remote location. https://torontosun.com/sports/football/cfl/toronto-argonauts/argonauts-shake-up-the-cfl-by-bringing-back-john-murphy-according-to-sources

  17. Sacks per game: Elfrid Payton = .81 Joe Montford = .72 Shawn Lemon = .68 Lemon is pretty close to Montford. Also they play in two completely different areas I feel like QB's and offenses don't hold the ball as long today as they did in the past.

  18. Swac and Montford were sack master legends. Lemon couldnt hold their jockstrap.

  19. In the two RedBack wins, he did make some nice passes, so it seems he has the arm and accuracy. It will probably come down to his intelligence and ability to read CFL defences.

  27. we would have...as would have CGY ha no clue about the possibility of failing the physical if Hamilton didn't provide that info....did Ham try and pull a fast one...or was Davis hiding something that the Cat's were not aware of...I will go with the latter. So wasn't a reason why we may have passed on Davis, as we dont have a secret technology to see this...we likely passed, and I am glad as it was a trade, so you take on his salary which probably wasn't cheap....and he is a shell of what he was anyway

  32. Montford probably still haunts retired QB's dreams. Still remember him with is massive shoulder pads/neck collar, looking like a freaking monster. Not to mention his massive QB crushing arms.

  33. It looks to have been largely Magri and Russell. Clemmons and Barker had senior positions and were consulted involved. But you'd have to convince me that Murphy wasn't in on it from the weeds.

  34. Crum is following a simple playbook, a smart DC will disguise coverage and try to confuse him, much like Bombers did to Rourke last season. I don't know if the Ti-Cats are capable enough to pull it off, but easy enough to spy him and shut down his running as Judge did last week.

  40. adding quality and practical players on the PR is easy...there is a lot out there....a couple lineup tweaks here and there is also easy, as we have guys in house in a few spots to plug in and to if anything...see if it makes a difference.....Roster make-up is the tricky one as a) as it sits we have no real options outside the starters and a few guys on IR and b) have no real faith that Osh will actually do the required moves in a few instances....

  41. yeah....lean depth there....hopefully he stays upright but the way he plays...I see him getting dinged up....then........gonna be trouble on offense. Kelly needs to learn touch tho as well...he howitzers everything and doesn't need to, and will be interesting now in the 2nd 3rd of season if he gets figured out somewhat.....only time in recent memory I didnt see it happen during that first yr is whn Ricky Ray came in...and just kept getting it done....I dont think Kelly has between the ears what Ray had...so as season goes...I expect him to make forced errors....and have certain things taken away from him by defense's to see if he can figure it out

In your own words "These roles would have come easy to them". That is minimizing their talents. If it was so easy for First Nations actors to fill those roles, 3 of the 4 leads wouldn't be Canadian for an Oklahoma-shot series. It takes real acting talent, great writing, great direction and great editing to make a great show - if any of those elements are missing, it all falls apart.

  45. we need to go back to the best home blue jersey ever and the normal gold pants for 90% of home games...plain and simple...as well as the mid 80's away whites....solid white with the blue/gold/blue wrap around the bicep and just numbers...no blue shoulders...no other crap
