Re Gizmo v Grant. Always had to compare players feats from different eras but I would suggest that the guys Grant ran against were better athletes than Giz’s competitors.

Honestly, what's incredible is that Gizmo lasted 14 years. For a KR, and the abuse they take sometimes, that's phenomenal. If we manage to have Grant for 10+ years, that'll be a miracle.

That Gizmo one is good. But Grants was better imo. IMO Grant had to do a lot more work. In the article Gizmo talks about how the other team didn't tackle well...but in that video of his return, he literally went right into like 2 guys arms lol. He just ran straight ahead and guys missed him/didn't wrap up. Grant made more guys miss and broke tackles with stiff arms AND had to run sideline to sideline AND had to make a guy miss near the end of the run. It's actually not only my opinion that Grant's was better....it's fact.

Harris is their best QB since Darian Durant so I understand the optimism. He hasn't historically been a winner but he plays the position competently unlike a good 70% of the QBs in the league right now.

Rider fans....coaching...media are sure going all gaga on their moral victory....the articles and comments on it are quite cute and amusing thinking they have turned this corner...I guess a good possible one off game will do that to un uneducated fan base and media horde.....They should have not beaten the Elks, and their QB tosses up 400 yards against us...when we played arguably one of our poorer games on defence, yet they lost by 3 scores...at home....failing to realize that we had a DT in on defense who literally had 1 real practice...a DE who has been here for 3 minutes, and we are missing our other starting DE...WIL...HB and Corner...Top special team player, and Lawler....they bemoan their injuries, but missing Walker and Marshall is hardly a detriment, Moncreif has been owned by Demski/Schoen and ZC and other than that...what else they missing?....not much of any concern to be honest

Hello, everyone. I have been a diehard Blue Bomber fan for 50+ years. Grateful to be able to watch some very exciting Bomber football after witnessing some dark times throughout the years. Will always be proud to call myself a Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan, no matter good or bad.

I've lived in northern Alberta for 16 years and my wife is from the maritimes and I met her in Alberta. She had never met a CFL fan and expressed interest in the Bombers initially but that faded as our relationship progressed haha. She knows I need 18 nights(and playoffs) a year to hang out with the boys. The funny part is that I now have a daughter and son and my daughter has 0 interest in the Bombers. But, her birthday always seems to fall within a week of the Bombers playing in Edmonton. She's a hell of a kid and suggested that she brings a couple of friends to Edmonton and she's having her 13th birthday party at the game in August. She gets to spend a few days in Edmonton with her friends but the Bomber game is her party again this year haha

It's Harris' MO to throw 400 yards and still lose the game. He can't win. That's why he slides down the pecking order of good teams. From Ottawa (playoffs, GC) to Edmonton (smelly), Montreal, (smellier) and the Riders (smelliest).

Man....I remember a long time ago when my wife and I were dating and it was date night during a Bomber game and I got so sick that afternoon that I had to reschedule the date night. What a fortuitous illness I thought.😁 In the future, may I recommend finding something she really would love to do on a different night that week and recommend you change date night that week so that you can do the ultra-fun thing she likes with her. She will think you are thoughtful. Nascar and no Bombers would have been a deal breaker for me. She must have really been a tiger to hold you for that long.

lesson I learned from, don't date someone who doesn't equally want to watch the games as much as you. this is what I did before my wife and I married. She figured it out, and now might be a bigger fan than me, at this point...

I just don't see how our offence doesn't produce 25-30 pts per game, and I don't see our defence giving up more than 20-25 on more than a few occasions. Not sure how any team beats us without significant help from us. We play clean football we will have about the same record as last year and only because we give a couple wins away to rest guys. He will be extended. The Canadian Mafia ain't going anywhere.
