If Younger/O'Shea endorse Bridges' decision making on that touchdown it speaks to their system on D having no ability to manage a QB outside the pocket. Most immediate threat if you're a corner with nothing but green turf behind you is a receiver, not the QB 30+ yards away who might run. Bridges' quote from yesterday sounds like a guy who has no ******* idea what his assignment is after the first 3 seconds of the play. Field corner unless they are in a 2 high cut look, your only true responsibility is to not let the widest guy behind you in basically every single defensive coverage in this country.

Good news! Parker hasn't looked as good at safety as he did previously at corner so bridges out, Parker to corner and Allen at safety. Changes aren't as hard as you want to pretend they are. Just use your roster to it's maximum potential.

Perhaps the worst single decision is to continue with Vaval returning. Guy has cost them points in most games and is getting worse at reading/catching the ball, then making decisions when the ball is on the turf. If you're making any decisions based on going 1-0 this week, that guy wouldn't be on the roster. I don't know what you'd have to see to move that guy off the roster right now. Want him to catch the punt and then hand it to the first cover guy like he's a running back?

They got **** kicked in calgary and had a bye week to prepare for the same team in your own barn... and went out and got their asses handed to them again and still don't make changes. That to me says they are out of ideas. This is already not fine but nope gonna put the entire season at risk before they do anything.

They should be cycling through potential replacements but instead they're standing pat. It's not players on the AR or PR either. Looking at the Bluesky account that tracks neg list moves, we are way more passive than most if not all other teams. Other teams are constantly adding/removing players but we seem to be content with what we have for the most part.

Say what you will about Bighill and Alexander's declining play but their voices on that side of the ball are sorely missed.

Both our qbs look terrible when they play. We have an aging starter in Zach Collaros whose skills are eroding & a backup in Chris Streveler coming off major knee surgery & who played a brutal game in relief last week. Despite our last two shitty games, we have posters constantly throwing shade on qbs like Fajardo, Kelly, Bethel-Thompson, Harris, Rourke, Mitchell & Vernon Adams. Unless things change. most if not all of those qbs that are always being mocked here will be in the playoffs while we may be on the outside looking in. Whoever disagrees with me can go "Ewwww", "Ohhh", Geez" & laugh all they want but I'll take any of those other qbs over the two we have now. Walters & Osh let our qb position get old with their skills diminished. Collaros was a great qb in 2021 or 2022 but he's struggled since. It didn't have to be that way. We let Dru Brown get away. Since then, it appears that we haven't got another young promising qb coming up. Our GM & HC also let our receivers wither away to the point that they are now the worst receiving corps in the league. A huge failure by The Trinity to replace receivers they let leave. Yet, here we are as a fanbase constantly making fun of other teams qbs when we are clearly a team on the decline.

He's durable and can throw and doesn't take that many unnecessary sacks. With the right receiving group he can move the ball.

Regardless, Parker a better corner than he is safety so use guys where they fit best. That includes things like NOT putting linebackers at DE on the depth chart.

Bailey has been out of football for over a year and Woli is always hurt. 2019-2022 Bailey and Woli would be great to have back but that's not how time works. Dicky also went all in Maier McCheese for a few years. Easy to blow up the roster when you win 5 and 6 games the previous 2 years.

Thing is....people will look at it as yeah we got to 5 cups and tink thats success....if failing at the the main ultimate goal is success....then I dunno Even ;ast yr...yeah but we started out 2-6...and turned it around...not really....didnt change a thing and we caught a bit of lightening in a bottle and rattled off some wins and glossed over what ailed us....poor roster...no depth and what depth we had not integrating them and when the big games came....well we were unprepared....had to play hurt guys to go with the inferior ones we figured were good enough....and we are headed right down that same path again at break neck speed...with a bunch of same guys who are even worse than last yr and if not for an act of god we would have had to play 3 gaes and win em all to get the cup...we couldnt do that with only 2 games....anuone thinking we could have ran the table is living in a state of delusion with how we went about the playoffs last yr...and if ZC gad got hurt in WSF or WF.....good luck with that We had openings at corner...safety....end....LB's...guard....receiver...and a couple spots we should have seriously looked to get better at...SAM...Center...DT/NOSE....Punter....BUT as per usual we just filled it with incumbents...retreads from elsewhere...and guys not food enough to make our roster from last yr....and still not good enough....we really didnt even consider change in a multitude of spots so really TC was just a exercise in nothing....nobody new....nobody younger and compound it with continued poor coaching...prep...and rostering....a vet laden team like ours should never come out with the duds we have ...so is it coaching...talent....attitude/dissention in ranks....likelu all 3 by my estimate...to me that spells danger and serious change needed....either ultimatum and or threats from above....or stumble thri this yr and do a purge next.....cause if we dont....be same ol same ol Sad part is this is Grey Cup yr and we should have went scorched earth with signings and attitude and cutting dead weight....but nope

I can not help but agree. Don't get the chance to post much here. Retirement is keeping me Uber busy. However IMHO this starting lineup as posted is the weakest Bomber Lineup I have seen in a very long time. No speed receivers, poor DL and OL, secondary is weak (and that is a complement) and I am not even sure about how effective our starting QB will be.

I was curious so I checked it out. It's worse than trying to board a plane. I am pretty sure this isnt the league standard. Bombers allow purses and backpacks in with no issues.

Kyle doesn't decide the roster...or PR...Osh does....so if there nobody to add to roster...that's on Osh...we had lots of guys to choose from in camp...its who was kept and what the makeup of the roster...pr...that's the issue....Osh created both

Are there people really clamouring for replacement level players like Fox and Garbutt?? Vaughters and Adams aren't massive improvements... I want better players than what we have now... not slightly worse

The thing that makes me chuckle here is that people are posting the daily reports from practice, which clearly stated there were no real changes. DT even said Ball likely on for Novak, otherwise everything the same..... ...and then everyone freaks out when the depth chart comes out. If there were going to be any changes they would have been installed day 1 of the week. I don't know enough to know what's right or wrong in this situation, but clearly they feel it's mental mistakes more than lack of talent. If they lose to a bad Toronto team, there's going to be a lot more questions....

Hi. From what I was seeing, he was overcompensating for others not being in position. I believe he could be inserted for Bridges, since Bridges was having considerable difficulty against Calgary receivers in both games. The other spot I am not convinced about is Parker at Safety. He started the season great, but not so much against Calgary. I am used to Alexander and his major league hits I guess. Perhaps this has more to do with our front 7 than I believe?
