Sorry but I don't like the total silence coming out of Bomberville, but that's just me; I like action and news  like all of you.  Yes we've extended a contract or two and we are distributing the year-end money before the 2018 salary cap  comes in.

But what are the deep thinkers in our organization planning to do?

 I hope they are not thinking status quo; that never seems to work out well. Unless we are dedicated to making sharp improvements here and there, I believe we atrophy from last year.  

After the 2017 NFL cuts were made did we bring in any linebackers for a sniff? I saw other prospects up here but maybe I missed something.

We have got to fix what's broken and I think somehow management must know more than we do ... we are good prognosticators with our comments on this site but I would like management to show us up. 

We are not hearing a lot of news out of the Calgary and Edmonton football clubs so maybe our Blue Bombers are an elite club now (as we join those two in their silence). 

But man I hate twiddling my thumbs as I wait to see what our local gurus are going to do. No news is bad news, say the bored ...  Well at least were not coming off seasons like Ottawa Hamilton and Montréal had.

So maybe I should be grateful for our club and its management.

I think many of us suspected Davis was gone once Durant signed.

Not sure about Gaitor and Clarke but at least they give us two experienced DBs for TC.

Not sad to see Davis go. There was no progression of skills for a guy here for 3 seasons. They have to find someone for that #3 developmental position whether it be the 2 young qbs we have now or someone else.

Hopefully he's still got some All-star gas left in the tank.  I like the signing.

Assuming the price is right. This could be a very good pick up for the blue. Yac and a big red zone target.

For the right price, this is a really good signing.

I'm quite surprised by the Bowman pick up.  He's always had the ability to get the rock to the house, so I'm excited to watch him do it many times this year.

thats got to sting those clowns there (fanbase) that Sask isn't the be all end all place to be even when they offer most money hahaha

They offered 160k..so if we got him under that then thats a sweet deal and allows us nice free agency flexabilty still

To be fair, he must look at the landscape and wonder how the Riders are going to keep everyone. I think they're going to shed salaries during training camp and leave some vets high and dry.

Definitely untrue. When I think of Bowman, I think of a ton of drops. I think of him disappearing for long stretches of time. Thankfully they got him for a song (relatively speaking) so it's likely a worthwhile gamble...
