  4. Do we need Ford as our 3rd QB? I say no.

  6. With the Goldeyes finally getting a new scoreboard it got me thinking. Will the Bombers ever upgrade their jumbotrons? It would great if they were replaced by larger versions at some point.

  7. I would imagine no since it would cost way too much to maintain and the building probably was never designed to have grass.

  8. Unless he's converting to another position, I'm not sure how (or why???) we would want him.

  9. Bombers sign Larnel Coleman. He's an American offensive tackle who was drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 NFL draft. He played 1 game in the NFL and played college at UMass.

  10. Plenty of room on the existing screens if they would use them properly, instead of half with incorrect stats and ads.

  11. And Valour FC plays into October as well.

  12. I would also argue that maintaining the grass in the fall would be too challenging, with all the football that's played there. Easier for it to recover in summer, but not so much in fall.

  16. How about they bring back the closed captions? I always wonder what guys like Jay Detain or Rory Dough Alert are up to these days.

  17. Was at the stadium Friday night for the Bryant & Streveler talk. It was very exciting to see the work on the field. It was really worn out, so it was becoming a bit of an injury concern. I bet they're cutting it up to hand out to season ticket holders like they did with the turf at the old stadium.

I'm bummed to hear that about the recent Samsonite models. I guess that some things aren't made the way (or where) they used to be. I was looking at the Samsonite Classic NXT 3 Gusset Briefcase as a replacement for my daily. Makes you nervous when you can't just walk into a store and physically compare them. You just order it, wait until it arrives and hope for the best these days.

  23. Hey, Bluedawg... nice mock. The two o-linemen from BC will get drafted and spend some time in the States, Theo probably longer than Gio in my opinion.

  25. I didn't put Mimbs on the list because he played only 2 years with us, granted he did lead the CFL in rushing for both. Wondered about Washington but wasn't sure, glad people mentioned him. Blink was great but to me its Lewis due to a higher yard per carry and 4 Cup wins..

  26. Hey guys, I got bored and did a bunch of research to drop a four-round mock here. I did end up having the same first rounder for the Bombers as Hodge. I don't know **** about **** but I thought this was fun! Tell me where I went wrong and if you want explanations I will give them! 27. I think some of us just appreciate the extra content. The only thing more embarrassing than 3down’s terrible takes is forum posters who don’t even have a blog trying to Uncle Rico from the sidelines, “if only I had a blog, I could write way better than them. I just know it!”

  28. They originally built it to hold 42,000 but expanded it for the World Student Games to 60,000 which was ludicrous. I went to the 78 CWG & really liked the place at that size. They should have kept it at 42000. It is Gi-Normous now.

  29. I actually think more "community owned" teams would be beneficial for the CFL. Private ownership has its own issues, as we have seen terrible owners and also complete lack of good candidates in some cases.

Lewis can have 2nd behind Charlie for those reasons. And then everyone else.
